《Emperor Who Rules Over The Swords》Chapter 11— Curing The Land

"Cure?" Cayle asked her in puzzlement…
From it's name alone, it seemed mysterious. But whenever one looked inside, the bottle was definitely emptied in spacious. There wasn't even a prick of dust inside.
How in the hell there would be something inside!.... From every angle, no matter how one looked at it, it's just an ordinary emptied bottle. So when Cait told him that it was something called "cure", he could only dumbly stared at it.
Cait walked closer to his side, before studying it carefully. A portion of her breast, was showing, that Cayle turned away his gaze in order to not give her the wrong impression.
Not only she was a beauty, she's also the younger sister of the so called Leon, demon of chaos.
Cait stared at the bottle for so long before her jaw almost fell off the ground… Her eyes widened, as her tiny lip muttered some words out, "T, thiss…."
Cayle hurried asked her what's wrong… From the looks of it, there was something important inside the bottle, "What is it!?"
Cait calmed herself down before swallowing her saliva, "Goddess Bliss...…," from her expression alone, he could tell that the thing inside the bottle was something so important.
If it's something important, then probably it could fetch onto high price when sold… If he sell it to a merchant, he won't be troubled for daily needs he was troubled of…
Seeing the greed in his eyes, Cait frowned her eyes downward, before studying the bottle again, "This could be used to revive the curse set on, the town…"
"??" Cayle titled his head with question marks… Surely, since he's the one who found it, Cait won't ask for it just to return the town from it's usual pace.
"Can we use this to the town so everyone could be revived?"
Thump…
His heart almost stopped functioning, what he badly didn't want to hear, was the one she spoke… Cayle wanted to argue but since she's the guild master younger sister, he can't afford to do so casually.
"A, aren't they gonna return to normal once we exited the floor?"
No matter what, he couldn't afford to give it up. Just thinking how much profit he would make from selling it, frustrated him so much.
"B, but… Everyone in the town is someone I had a bond with for the past three days…"

Bond my ass!... If only she wasn't the guild younger sister, he would have slaughtered her.
Even though they would return to normal and everyone who died would come back to life again, this selfish girl wanted to be selfish and return everything to normal…
After thinking about it for so long, it won't be a problem since he'll also receive much help in the future from them. Also, it'll be good opportunity to make her indebted to him.
Cait was about to blurt out a speech again in order to forced him, but Cayle interrupted her before she could even finished her speech…
"Fine, take it.." His expression was motionless, but from his eyes one could see that there was regrets lurking out…
(Even though he didn't wanted to, he still gave it away…)
Cait felt guilty for some reason. Even though he was giving it out, his disguise was seen through from his laminating gloomy eyes. Although his face was showing no sign of care, his eyes were glowing in sadness beautifully…
(Once we get out of this floor safely, I'll definitely force my brother to reward him even if I had to kneel down the ground.)
Cait sworn to her heart that she'll definitely pay him back…
"Let's go…" Cayle was in a hurry, since he was still thinking of advancing on another floor.
Cait nodded her head and followed him leaving the goblin's nest….
Thereafter, they arrived in the center of the town.
The ground has pool of blood, almost everywhere has an organs and every human part becoming one with the ground…
From the looks of it, they didn't died from the goblin witchcraft, moreover, after their encounter of the goblin witchcraft and seeing it's battle capability, they were now sure of themselves that the culprit of the slaughtering in the town is, the curse goblin witchcraft used.
"What do we do now?" Despite having the cure in their hands, it would be useless if they didn't know how to use it…
Cait also had no idea of it's usage, so she couldn't give him an answer…
As they were pondering about it, Cayle thought of a theory… Maybe if he whispered some words at the side of the bottle, maybe it would show it's abilities…
However, since it's only a theory, he could only give it a try. He won't lose anything from it anyway, so there's no danger in it…

"Hand it over here." Cayle gestured her to throw it onto his hand, as his palm was opened in wide.
It seemed like she was hesitating, Cait didn't immediately gave it out. Maybe she had a thought that since she had no idea how to use it, Cayle was asking to take it back. Even if she wanted to argue with him, she wouldn't be able to do so…
Cayle seemed to seen through her worries, and immediately reprimanded her, "Don't worry, I'll only give it a try if I could use it."
As soon she heard that, the thorn in her heart was immediately removed, and she was able to breathe at ease. Without thinking further, she threw it in the direction of his palm..
The bottle shone bright as it gleamed in green.. There was a lime portion lighting inside…
Cayle was preparing to catch it on his hand, however, after it began lighting up, he suddenly lost focused, as the glass bottle passed through his hand…
"AaaAAAaaAa!!" Cait cried out in anxiety, the goddess bliss was an A-class potion that could only be found in dungeons… Once it's broken, it would be hard to find a new one. The glass seemed to be something that could easily broken, she wouldn't be surprised if it immediately broke once it had fallen onto the ground.
Cayle desperately tried gasping it's figure, reaching out using his palm, however before he could even reach it, the glass fell off the ground and broke…
Silent broke out at the whole town, as the gust of winds stopped blowing...
Her pupils widened in shocked, as her knees fell onto the ground trembling from anxiety…
If only Cayle took it in his hand without spacing out, the town would come back from it's usual figure, however, he even doze off while staring at it, resulting from the glass being shattered to pieces…
Immediately, veins surfaced in her forehead as she pointed her finger onto him in resentment, "Y, you…..!!! I, it's your faullttttt!!!!"
Cayle acted dumbly at her proclaimed, as he formed a poker face, in his expression… Shrugging his way, Cayle sighed deeply before beginning his act, "Welp, since it broke without even us doing, maybe the thing was actually a fraud?"
(There's no way it's fake!)
Gritting her teeth, the veins in her forehead grew ferocious even more….
She wanted to complain more however the thing is already broken, even if she continued arguing with him, the bottle won't come back to it's old form…
As she began sobbing staring down the ground, where her hands were pinning down, the ground was glowing in lime green…
Alarmed, Cait immediately stood up. She was guessing that maybe there's an incoming attack..
Cayle stared at her in puzzlement… Before he could even ask her the problem, he immediately felt a warm feeling running through his vessels, as the ground gleamed in lime green…
"Careful!! There seemed to be an enemy attack!!"
Cait warned him about the weird phenomenon, but before he could even leap up into the sky, everything surrounding the whole town glowed in lime green. Soon, as his conscious started faded away, he could see the broken structures of houses coming together…
After that, he immediately fell into deep slumber..
***
In the center of a dark room, there was a dark throne full of loneliness….
Cayle was sitting on it, while resting his cheeks onto his palms. His hand was holding out at the side of throne, while also being the support in order for his cheeks to not fell off…
The spacious room seemed to be a part of a royal palace, Cayle has his control over, however he didn't felt like moving at all…
[How many years had passed…]
As he was thinking of it, another conscious from someone he didn't know spoke through his mind…
The tone was kind of cold like a majestic king, but he could feel the familiarity from the voice..
[Hundred? Thousands?]
(What the hell is he trying to say?)
Confused, Cayle could only listen to the mysterious voice in his head…
But as far as he could tell, it seemed like the voice was counting something, as if it had been waiting for so long..
[No matter what, I'll be waiting…]
As soon as the voice said that, he could feel it's conscious vanishing from his side…
Now that he looked around, there was nothing but darkness around him. Surroundings were emptied in spacious, while the only thing that were in the center was him sitting in the throne.
