《Emperor Who Rules Over The Swords》Chapter 02— Novice Town

Gazing his gloomy eyes onto the blazing sun, Cayle couldn't help but to turn his head the other way around.
It's been a long time since he last saw the figure of the sun. Just the blinding figure of it alone was enough to disrupt his field of view.
Forcing his fragile legs to stand up, Cayle took a deep breath and inhaled some oxygen residing in the air. His eyes straightened mainly towards in front of him.
Recalling how he got there, the last thing he could remember is the game that was proposed to him by a company. It was also the last thing that remained in his heart as he losses his consciousness that time.
Although he didn't want to put the blame on the company, even if he did now, no one will complain anyway, so he kept thinking up theories.
Cayle shifted his gaze upon the floating chart made out of light.
He just shifted his gaze over another direction not a while ago, but the words embedded in the chart had already vanished, and replaced with another word already.
[Welcome to the world of Magic And Sword Online]
Cayle stared at the chart for a little while, but it remained unchanged. Even when he turned his gaze over another direction, the words embedded in it remained unchanged.
As he was thinking of it, he suddenly came up with a solution. By fixing his stance, and posing a weird pose, Cayle cried out in his heart content, "Awaken!"
With a gust of wind flowing into the grass landscape, a cold wind brushed past him, making him felt embarrassed.
If his first love was the one in front of him, his heart would have stopped beating from embarrassment.
Coughing a few times as if saying he did it intentionally, Cayle fixed his posture before stretching his body.
This time, he didn't make a mistake…
Reaching out towards the chart made out of light, his hand passed through the chart as if it's invisible. Cayle straightened his throat, before letting out a cold tone, "Information."
As his words reached the side of the chart, the words embedded in it started fading away vanishing insight. Afterward, new words began appearing one by one, as the words he was unfamiliar with appeared on the chart.
Cayle eyes remained intact as he read the content written in the chart.

Race: Human
[Cayle Mischieve]
Age: 18 (27)
Level: 1
Strength: 7
Agility: 6
Constitution: 4
Mana: 6
[Remaining time: 1:59]
The details were short, just like the games he used to play. But what caught his attention was the remaining time…
Cayle waited for two minutes to pass, and to his shock, his jaws almost fell off his mouth. As soon as the remaining time plummeted, the chart made out of light vanished before his sight.
Cayle tried summoning it again, and indeed, just like last time, a countdown appeared at the bottom of the content.
This time, Cayle didn't wait for the chart to fade away, instead, he raised his voice to speak, like a mighty king, "Scram." His mighty voice resounded out the grass, as it danced alongside with the gust of wind, following the flow of the world.
However, just like he expected, the chart didn't vanish in front of him. It remained motionless.
When Cayle spoke out the word, "Vanish!," Only then it faded away like dust, falling through the mighty sky. Its figure emerged with the gleaming sunlight, before vanishing, not leaving a single trace of dust.
If this world is like an RPG game, then the way to raise his level must be to exterminate monsters residing deep inside unbeknownst to him.
Therefore, the first way to survive in this world must be to become an adventurer. Cayle looked around and found a small trace of somewhat looked like a civilization... Staring further ahead, indeed it was a town. Cayle didn't dare challenge dungeons without any information, after all despite it being like a game, he only had one life, so he didn't dare risk his life on the line. Unless his first crush was the one in danger, he wouldn't hesitate to throw away his life immediately.
As he headed towards the town, which in sight. Cayle passed through a lot of places. Some of them were crowded with ordinary civilians, so he had guessed that those safe places must be a place for sightseeing.
Soon, Cayle arrived in front of the town's gate. Like a medieval period setting, the gate was made out of giant woods which all have a sharp end while hanging onto the ceiling. Usually, it was always opened due to how hard to use it, but since Cayle arrival to the town, the knights guarding the town were alarmed since he was an unfamiliar face.

"Halt! Your face seemed suspicious!" A knight guarding the entrance approached him, before stretching his palm to stop him from going any further.
Cayle knew the way of knights that obeyed high ranking, so despite the mighty aura emitted coming from the knight, he remained unmoved and started with his act, "Mister Knight, this fellow here is an old apprentice of guild master from the other town. I wished to meet the guild master at his place."
As Cayle used the name of the guild master, the one and only guild that existed in their town, his forehead started pouring down in cold sweat. Though it was the job of the knight to secure the safety of civilians, the youth in front of him was rather calm while claiming to be an apprentice of the guild master, so even if he didn't want to, he was forced to believe, after all, the guild master was such a monster.
As the knight was about to open a path, another knight ran over, "Apprentice of guild master you said! Huh!"
The veins in his forehead were twitching like worms in the center of the sunlight. There was no way he would believe such a lie.
"If you were the guild master's apprentice, prove it," as the knight said that, he pulled out his sword from his waist in its scabbard before putting a warrior stance, "If you were really the so-called guild master's apprentice, defeat me," he said in a mocking smiled.
Cayle doesn't level up yet, nor does he had the skills to fight. Although he had played virtual games like dungeon cracking etc. There was no confidence in his hand when it comes to frontal fights.
As he was about to pull out and leave, an anonymous person wearing gentleman's clothes walked up for him, "Scram, he's one of my disciples."
The warrior who was preparing to fight Cayle drank his saliva, as his body trembled in terror.
Cayle also froze on his spot, and couldn't take even a short breath…
The other knight lowered his head onto the ground, as the one who was preparing to fight Cayle fell down on his knees.
Cayle pupils widened in horror… Just who is this man! His eyes remained focused on the gentleman, staring down at the two knights as if looking down on them.
As Cayle was organizing his thought, whether what kind of excuse he should make to escape, the gentleman in his pair clothes of darkness shifted his gaze upon him. His eyes and lips shaped into a crescent moon, as he stared into him with full interest, "Come apprentice, let's go to my office."
Cayle hurried to follow the gentleman as he started walking elsewhere…
***
In front of a three-story building, the gentleman walked inside. From outside alone, the building looked majestic due to its decoration. Surely ordinary ones weren't allowed to enter since he didn't see anyone walked in like the gentleman. Cayle gritted his teeth and followed the path the gentleman took. Pausing into the side of the elevator, the gentleman gave him a sign to enter, Cayle didn't oppose him and entered inside the elevator in a cold sweat.
The two men stood beside each other as the elevator soon descended the ground floor.
Awkwardly, Cayle could only bit his lips in frustration.
***
Surveilling the whole, the guild master, "Leon" crossed his arms from his back, while walking.
Due to his presence, some of the crowds from the streets ran in fear. Leon was known as, "Demon of Chaos," in the whole town, so whoever sees him walking even in the far distance, shivering in fear.
In the past times when demons raised a war towards their town, there was only one person who fought hundreds of demons ranked on top. It was none other than Leon, the demon of chaos. Not only did he killed them, but he also brought every single piece of heads from the demons he defeated, for that reason, why he gained the title, "Demon of chaos."
Leon was a guild master of the only guild that existed in Novice Town. Not only that, but he was also strongest in the continent. Despite that, Leon was currently facing a huge problem… I haven't found a disciple yet! Leon screamed out his thought, thankfully none heard him, or else, they would definitely take him on as a mentor despite his frightening history.
The others from far distance gulped their throats in anxiety, for some reason, they misunderstood that he was mad over something, and decided to stay further away.
