"Your big sister agreed just like what you said. So... we can go after this spar. I will be booking the ticket based on your answer. And yes... from now on, I'll be your guardian and I will also be guiding you on your avascian path. I hope you're fine with it. Your big sister wanted this. You could call her and ask."
"No need. I trust you. As for when I'm planning to go... hmm."
Anna tilted her head at Eason's response.
Eason thought inwardly,
'Was I just going to completely ignore my friends as if we were never friends? No, that's not the problem. Why do I get the feeling that it's just better if I just ignore them? This is not like me. What's wrong with me? Don't tell me that this is because of my talent?'
"Umm... excuse me."
Eason heard Anna's voice and looked over at her. It was only at that moment Eason had realized that he had got spaced out.
"Oh, yeah. We can leave after this sparring session."
Anna nodded slowly contrary to her usual nodding.
"Anyway... don't fight with your avasci directly against your sparring partner. You also can't cause serious damage to this partner of yours while sparring. You can only use your avasci when you are incapable of handling her. Your campus's principal must have told you about the rules right? If he didn't, I can tell you."
"Yes, he did. No worries, I won't make any mistake.", says Eason but inwardly his thoughts were completely different.
'Yeah, yeah. If I can heal her, then there's nothing preventing me from hurting her. I will make sure that whenever she seems again, she will be so terrified to even speak about the word girl in front of me. Shameless lesbian! A narcissist feminist who is nothing more than just a ridiculously lusty woman... *******.', Eason kept cursing inwardly while having a smiling expression on his face.

Anna was satisfied by Eason's response. Eason then remembered something and asked Anna,
"Oh yeah! What am I supposed to call you? Miss Guardian? Miss Anna? Anna? Oh yes, what are you going to call me?"
"You can call me Anna. You will soon find out that you would have no other choice other than calling myself, Anna. As for how I would call you? It would be Eason. The reason is same as the reason as to why you're going to have no other choice other than to call myself by my name."
"Hmm... Anna, hah? Anyway, Anna. I'm quite talented. So, there will be situations in which you might waste my time. I'm not over-confident. I'm just confident at my talent compared to other avascians."
Anna wrinkled her eyebrows after hearing Eason's statement.
"Oh... really? I really look forward to it then. If it was anyone else, I would not have thought of your words seriously at all. But considering your background, I think you are definitely very talented. I hope you don't prove me wrong.", spoke Anna plainly as if she didn't whether there was a point in adding emotion to her comment.
"You didn't like the fact that I was boasting, right? But I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't very confident. It hasn't been that long yet but I've already got an idea on how to use my avasci."
"Oh really? Then show me."
"Sure but let's wait for the chairman of this campus. He will be the one guiding us to the sparring room."
Anna just nodded back.
Seconds turned into minutes as the silence continued to sustain. Eventually, the chairman entered the room and looked over at the two guests in the room.
"Oh! Miss Anna, it's a huge pleasure of mine to have yourself visiting this humble campus.", spoke Gosark while smiling foolishly. His muscled body just made it more funny to look at himself.

"Oh, Gosark. Take us to the sparring room. Your Miss Anna wants to check out my sparring session."
"Oh! Sure, sure. Why not? Follow me."
Meanwhile in Saqar City, a border city of Garaerys Land,
"Wanting to abort such an important mission just to visit her younger brother? Her younger brother would just be proud of her taking such an important mission. In fact, he would even be mocking her for wanting to abort on such an important mission. Besides that fact, how the hell was she able to get a violet grade avascian to accept her request of abortion of mission. THIS IS VERY UNFAIR!!!", says Rasi.
Rasi, a indigo grade avascian just like Lynette. Rasi has been praised multiple times for having potential to become next violet grade avascian. But despite receiving such praise, she had always envied the fact that Lynette always received preferential treatment from a violet grade avascian. Rasi doesn't hate Lynette. She just doesn't like the fact that Lynette is getting preferential treatment for no reason.
"You should know that Lynette only decided to come alongside us in this mission only because we accepted the fact that we need to be prepared in case she has to leave for her brother's sake. She was only fighting for her brother's sake. If not for him, she would not had an ounce of motivation in herself to fight garaerians.
"Of course! But this is just a matter of her brother awakening. That seems like a stupid reason for her to abort her mission."
"That's just how much she loves him as a big sister."
"...", Rasi sighed and continued,
"I know. We just need to put a bit more effort to complete this mission. Lynette's talent truly was very useful in detecting Garaerian military buildup. Too bad that we can't use it anymore. Let's go."
Byron Campus #3,
Three individuals entered a sparring room of the campus. They then saw someone else inside the sparring room. It was none other than Elena. She then looked over at the three new intruders and then frowned slightly after finding Eason's presence.

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
