《The Primordial Of Deaths Awakening》Visiting the king

We arrived at the capital two weeks later. I can't not tell you how happy I was to get out of that death trap, my ass was so sore from having to sit in that thing for the past two weeks. Luckily I didn't spend that time doing nothing, for the last two years I have been constantly expanding my mana and ki pool. It was know at the point I could cast two 5th level spells before I needed to take a nap. Of course 5th level spells are quite dangerous and difficult to practice with in secret so I'm pretty sure one of the maids/slaves already knows I can use tier one spells. However I had made sure she couldn't tell father, so everything is fine for now but overwriting enchantments with my small mana pool and making sure no one notices was difficult and the maids Slave collar was a heavily enchanted item so it was hard. But all's well that ends well.
Once we where in the capital I tried to look out the window but for some reason father stopped me and said it was to dangerous. So I closed my eyes and pretended to go to sleep, while I'm reality I was using one of the three of my powers the survived my reincarnation, the mind element. The mind element allows me to do many things but all of them burn my mana like a dwarf drinks alcohol. But the one I was using was a basic spell that allowed me to use my mind to look at what's around me. The only downside being that other mind magic users can see me if their mind element is the same grade or higher then mine. But I dont think I have anything to worry about my mind element was a divine ranked skill the highest possible rank that surpasses even triple S ranked skills. With my current mana pool I could hold this basic spell for an hour but all I needed was a second out two to look around. What I saw terrified me, we appeared to be passing through the slums and there were dead and dying everywhere. I saw a man try to beg one of our guards for a little bit of money and be cut down instantly, it made me sick to my stomach. It was the job of the weak to do everything in their power to help the strong and in exchange the strong protected them from those who wished them harm. That was how my house and the empire had worked so seeing how the nobles of this world treated

the commoners greatly upset me but right now I was to weak to do anything. I needed to get stronger!
Once we made it to the castle we where immediately welcomed by a line of soldiers standing at attention and we passed through. We were then quickly led to the audience chamber where the royal family awaited us. The butler standing outside the door bowed to mother and father before announcing our presence to the royal family.
"Duke Rio and duchess Christina have arrived for their audience with the king!"
Come to think of it that's the first time I've heard they're actual names I thought. As we were about to enter I sensed something using the mind element on the other side and then, using my ability to sense presences around me I registered a familiar presence she was an old Allie I had fought side by side with in many wars. However I was weaker now and just like me she only kneeled to the strong so I knew she would try to force me to submit. I knew immediately I had to strike first if I could draw her into my mind I could crush her with the full might of my soul before she could harm my new family.
Elizabeth's (the princess) POV: today I turned two years old. It was two years since I was killed in the rebellion that took my master. After our primordial fell we had to retreat deep into our territory and hold. The enemy ordered us to surrender and submit but they could try. Once a house like ours locked every dimension we controlled down it would take a primordial of the highest order several days to break through. I led a raid on the royal family and while we succeeded I was captured and forced to kill my self so I couldn't be used as a hostage. Then I was reincarnated in this world.when I woke up the first thought that went though my mind was that I might never see my friends and comrades again. Today was the day me and any other two year old noble children were introduced to our society. As a princess I had to sit still next to my parents, smile and not shoot fireballs at the disgusting pigs who are 30 times my physical age and asking for my hand in marriage. The man who is my biological Father luckily turned them all Down. In this body there wasn't a whole lot I could do against the guards the nobles brought with them. So if father agreed to the marriage the most I could do was kill 10 of them before they took me away. Next on the list was a duke who had to twins my age. After all I'd seen from the nobles so far I was worried what a duke would look like. Using my mind element I looked outside the throne room to see two children and two adults. The children were holding hands and the parents were a gorgeous couple, but that wasn't what surprised me it was the aura around one of the kids it was pure black just like my old masters. At that moment a pulse of magic come over me and I knew it really was him but he didn't seem to realize I was in the same predicament he was because the moron immediately hit me with his killing intent and forced me into a mind element world. While this was going on the adults just kept talking unaware of the carnage that was happening all around them.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

Leave Bad Enough Alone
Something has been amiss in the city’s theaters as of late. The local bards have long done a respectable job of keeping the audiences entertained, weaving high concepts with skillful performances. But lately, a new set of bards, and their illusionist cohorts, have captured the crowd’s attention. Compared to the theater’s usual fare, their work is hackneyed and poorly plotted, with unskilled acting, bad special effects, and unsatisfying resolutions. Worst of all, the audiences like their work more, and these upstarts are far more profitable than the city’s decent bards! Clearly, there must be some dark secret behind the success of these newcomers, and it’s up to the city’s true artists to find out what it is and expose the conspiracy! Or maybe the city’s bards have just become too hopelessly pretentious and derivative. It’s hard to tell. But investigate it they must! Failure is not an option! Victory, or...well, they’ll have to get day jobs or something. Original cover image generated by NightCafé.Master story list here.

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.
