...Damien POV
The explosion from the Crimions Hell Fire spell was indeed massive and lived up to its name. After being blown though the massive hill, Damien summoned a lifelike clone with his magical constructs to stay on the surface I. His place. Meanwhile, his real body tunneled under the earth using earth manipulation and the system map to back towards the wall. Damien knew that after the first two attacks he could handle this mage easily. After the surprise first attack, he was able to keep up with the mage and could have killed him several times but that's wasting time at the wall. The longer that he wasted time fighting this mage the more lives would be lost it to the minute it would take. He tested his might against an Archmage and came out nearly unscathed. How powerful was he? If he hadn't had his shield active would he have survived such an attack? Damien wondered to himself.
Damien sped through under the tons of dirt and rock as though he were a torpedo in water. He arrived at the wall on the enemy side of the wall he burst through the ground sending end unaware soldiers and beast flying in every direction. He landed on the wall and faced the Algarian army. Damien got the idea of tethering his constructs to sap energy directly from his staff and not himself. By now, Damien's staff had fully replenished its arcane energy. To help him focus Damien screamed the spell so that it could help him visual his what he was willing into existence. A bright orange light began to shine over the entire army but dim until it became a clear purplish light.
"Magic Constructs - Arcane Armor!"
"Magic Constructs - Arcane Weapons!"
"Temporary arcane strengthening!"
All of the soldiers gasped at their new found strength. The warriors all glowed in magical armor that was strengthened by the staff. It was able to take impact from sorcerer level impacts from enemies. The armor had Damiens full magical strength. The arcane weapons were of all types. The swords had massive penetration power as well as powerful arcane damage. The archers of the army found that they now could pull the magical draw string and an arrow would appear.
The mages notice that if they focus their staves their magical power and defense could feel their strength rise tenfold. Each mage had a limit of magical power they could be imbued without they would explode. This greatly assisted the Damien staff because everyone didn't need to be powered up to such a high degree. Damien used the 24 hour arcane strengthening to pretty much make the Algarian superheroes for a day. Much like his own troops. Except Damien didn't unlock their skills and potential. He didn't want to give another army his people special abilities but they can borrow them for a day. The ability to see farther, run faster, stay awake longer, and magical abilities are strengthened overall. For example a normal mage could rise to overcome years of training with this spell alone and jump into the next rank of mage strength or further that that. The spell seems to unlock hidden potential. For every mage it's different.

A day. A day is all they will need to clear the Hellions off of this continent. Damien thought. Damien broke out of his thoughts and looked at his men. He forgot the effect it has on men the first time. The intoxicating power rush. The men and women were still admiring their magical weapons and armor. The mages just stood around stunned not imagining having as much magical strength as many of them had. They all looked at themselves then back at Damien. Many stared at him like he was a god. Some actually began to worship him openly. Damien was taken back by this. His real issue was that no one stopped him from doing it.
Damien wanted to stop this behavior. Even though he's seen it every time he unleashed his abilities people have looked at him this way. It disgusted him. He knew this might happen but for it to actually BE happening and this to burden dropping in his lap made him sick and uncomfortable. He was from earth. As far as we all knew, it was a godless earth seemingly. Of course that's much different now for Damien at least. Thinking about Earth brought Damien back to reality. If he had to do this then he would. Anything to get back to his daughter Tasha. His heart ached just thinking about it. All this time had passed and he hadn't held his little girl. It was enough to steel Damien's resolve. He looked down at the army and spoke.
"Algarian army we will not waste this chance. It's a chance to get revenge for your fallen brother but you must fight. I have come and will lead you to victory. ON ME! CHARGE. The Algarian soldier burst through the opening in the walls and into the Hellion front lines. He watched as a man with a bastard run three enemy soldiers through, jump in the air with the bodies still attached to his blade and slammed the blade on the ground causing the bodies to blow apart and a shock wave of force blow soldiers into the air.
Mages began dashing deep into the lines using elemental weapons and spells. In particular he saw the water mage from earlier. She was flying with the dragons and raining powerful storms and large ice lances's that impacted the ground like meteorites which created devastating shockwaves. The enemy weapons and as weren't strong enough to penetrate the power arcane armor. Once the soldiers saw that other soldiers did not die from attacks they were fatal only minutes ago, gave the Algarian soldiers even more morale and an even bigger boost.
Within 20 minutes, the Algarians had made it deep into the enemy encampment. You could constantly hear flesh being parted with wet noises or constant bone crushing impacts that can bend steel easily. The ground was littered with dead enemy soldiers and deep craters, scorched earth, massive mounds of moved earth, patches of frozen tundra or spikes as far as the eye could see.

There were further attacks from other enemy mages but none were as strong as the Archmage or his underlings so the army easily dealt with them. The Hellions who never retreated in the past were no longer advancing. The Hellions were bring pushed back. The Algarian could keep fighting and not get fatigued or if they did become fatigued, a moment's rest could have them ready to fight again after a fellow soldier took their place at the frontline . Utilizing pulse warfare perfectly. Of course had summons never stopped killing soldier or destroying their siege weapons that hadn't got a chance to be utilized. Due to Damiens surprise attack.
As the army massacred their way towards the occupied village. They stopped at the walls. All of the Algarian soldiers formed up lines and got ready for the next order. Damien was in the air looking at the gates. Damien checked his map and saw that quite a few people still lived there.
Damien had to leave the army here and move ahead. He left a little surprise for his Archmage friend we fought with earlier. Damien let the commander know that there were still villagers inside and that the village had soldiers in every building and to clear them all out. With that Damien blasted the gate and let the soldiers clear out the village.
When Damien was fighting with the Archmage earlier he had thought about how he could get more info on troop movement in the grey areas on the map. After speaking with the System, Damien learned that so long as his mana was in an area, his map would consider that explored territory. So with that upon confronting the mage Made a construct of a tiny tick and sent it flying to the archmage and it attached to his clothes.
"Time to make the small fish lead me to the big fish."
Now that Damien, had the area where the Archmage stopped he went to find the commanders of the Algarian army. Damien had them marked in good on his map so he cound them in minutes. Damine told them to push southwest and they will reach a coast line. That's where the enemy ships had docked to invade your continent. Let's go push these bastards back into the ocean. Damien told them that he would go on ahead. By now the commanders followed Damien's word without question. The. Commanders saluted and ran off to finish clean up of the enemy in the village. It will take some time to go through each building.
Damiens plan was to cause as much chaos and destruction on the enemy until the Algarians arrive. They king said these men have never shown themselves to fear death or retreat, yet Damien had seen different.
Damen sent his summons to continue on with the army except his arial summons.
Damien had landed on the ground and turned to his dragons and griffins. Time to to fly josy and Damien took off towards the docks on the beaches.
...Keilar at the docks on the beachfront
Keilar flew for hours. He flew right over the wall of the front. He knew those walls bricks were only pebbles in front of that monster. He knew that if he doesn't get word back then it's no way his people can survive. He had to let the Supreme Emperor know about the Algarian powerful Sorcerers. Their army troops strength are absolute.
Keilar arrive at the docks and landed on the edge of the next to his warship. He cannot look so rattled or these kinds of men will not respect your authority no matter the rank. Strength was absolute, in the Hellion society. He composed himself straightened his back and walked down the docks. He walked with absolute authority. He had to feign strength even though he was terrified.
Keilar walked up the ship's dock and seen the captain.
"Captain, there is an emergency and we have to leave at this moment."
"Yes, General but I haven't…"
Keilar grabbed the front of the man's shirt, said a quick word and the mans shirt began to burn and the man screamed in pain as the fire went out but the hair on his chest was gone. There was a red fist from the scorched skin burned into the captain's chest.
"Now! Are there any further questions?"
The terrified captain began the preparations to disembark. The anchor had been pulled up when the first roar was heard. Keilar froze in terror. Move this piece of shit dammit. He was so desperate that he flew into the air and got behind the back of the ship and channeled his fire magic into his leg. The ship began to slowly move towards. Another roar sounded he poured his remaining energy into his fire burst flight spell and the back of the mages legs looked like a rocket ship taking off. The explosive power broke the sound wave but it was still a weakened man holding on on to a massive ship propelling it forward. Despite his broken arms and collarbone he got the ship to move forward as fast as he could without dying. Keilar landed back on the deck and darkness overtaking him with the sounds of dragons and griffins causing widespread destruction.

Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
