《The Ancient Era》Arc 1, Ch 02.2

Like this the forest continued being filled with painful screams for a few hours before finally returning to its original peaceful appearance. The sky was brighter than before, and the forest was a bit easier to see through.
In the cave two young boys could be seen, it was unknown whether they were dead or unconscious. They had similar features and looked to be brothers. What they had most in common, however, was the fact they were both nude. Tattered clothes were on both of their bodies and across the hard-rocky ground. A few blood stains could also be seen on a few spots around the ground. Looking closely at their bodies one could see small scrape marks all around their bodies.
If a person came and saw the current scene, they'd think they were raped and killed. That was, however, false as no one but the two boys knew what had really happened. Like this they remained still, an occasional breeze would travel through the cave and caress their bodies as they shriveled up trying to warm themselves.
After a few of these cool breezes stroked Amory he eventually awoke. Opening his eyes, he felt something was odd about himself. He recalled the past tortures he had undergone and couldn't help but shiver, but not from the coldness in the cave.
He didn't dare move as he felt it would bring another wave of torture. An image of his brother surfaced in his mind and he made a plan.
Hehehe.. nice thinking there, I'll make him test out the waters for me...
"Surr bru, hut I c-.. w-whot ta heak!" Amory abruptly sat up, cutting himself off mid-sentence. He had thought out loud but what surprised him was the fact he could speak. Although he could barely understand himself he had spoken nonetheless, just a bit of experience with controlling his body and he would speak normally!
As he had abruptly sat up he tested the waters himself and assumed that they were safe as of the time being. Making a sigh of relief he looked down only to see some bare small white legs. He followed along the legs and came to a stop as he saw them connected with himself. He reached out to touch them and saw his small arms.
At this point he had realized something but touched his body and face to make sure.
Can it be?! I must confirm with Martin! As he thought to here he rapidly stood up and looked at a figure that was a few feet away from him. It was lighter in the cave, allowing Amory to see his brother.
The sun was barely peeking in through gaps in the surroundings hills, bathing the forest with its sunlight, making the lake give a beautiful reflection of the surroundings. If one saw this scene they'd be unsure if it was a reflection or an actual other world in the massive hole. The entire area was sparse of any life, however, besides the grass and trees.
In the cave Amory stared at Martin as he confirmed his guesses, the ripped clothes that were all over the place removed any doubt that was leftover as he sat to one side.
Then... just how many years did we undergo... I'm guessing around five or six by my stature and his as well. He looks like a ten or eleven-year-old boy. What should I tell him though, when he wakes up.

Not allowing him to think, Martin started to wake up, "Mmm..hmm.." with a tilt of his head Martin stared at a sitting boy a few feet away from him, he was unsure of what was happening and rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. Seeing the boy didn't disappear his eyes widened as he remembered the past events, hurriedly standing up he stood in a defensive stance. His sight was higher than he had recalled, and his sight was a bit clearer.
"Who are you!" Shouting this it came out as more of an announcement than a question. Martin took a few steps back and looked around, not losing sight of the sitting boy in front of him.
Watching all this, Amory said nothing and let Martin act out on his own. He wanted to see how capable he was. Although Martin was only a young duckling, he had been the son on an emperor and had received various different teachings.
As Martin didn't see his younger brother anymore his heart started panicking. His younger brother was the only cherish able person he had now, and even though they had barely interacted he was still the only one who formed a connection with him. With a rapidly beating heart Martin stared at the boy in front of him and noticed his deep blue eyes, they were extremely similar to his younger brother's and the boy also had features similar to his mother's.
With an unsteady heart and bumpy voice, he managed to slowly utter a few words, questioning the little boy, "I said... who-are-you?". As he finished speaking surprise could be seen in Amory's eyes as they opened wide in contrast to his previous narrowed eyes. A small grin arrived in his small mouth as he looked at Martin. He had unexpectedly surprised Amory.
With a clear soft voice Amory answered back, "Martin.. I am.." as Amory spoke he made small pauses, making sure as to not mess up his cool proclamation, as he slowly stood up to face his older brother he continued, "Your...brother, Amory!" shouting his last few words, Amory took a hero's stance, with chest up, head high and legs straight, his arms were opened wide as if being the top existence of a country.
Martin had connected a few dots and he somewhat expected this but couldn't understand it completely. With many doubts still lingering in his mind he stared at the boy in front of him. But why is his character like this... both mentally and physically?
As Martin was still unmoving Amory spoke again with a grin, "Check... yourself... don't you.. feel.. different.". Hearing this Martin looked at his body with more detail. He was indeed different, he had grown almost twice his previous size. His sight was better and as he looked around at the torn clothes on the ground it proved they had both grown in size. He noticed blood stains on the ground and saw his own scraped body parts. Looking at his 'brother', he saw the same marks. Any doubt was removed, and his racking heart slowly calmed down.
"But how do you know how to speak?" With a tilted head, Martin questioned his brother Amory.

Amory had already thought this through and quickly answered back, "Knowing how... to speak.. was ingrained... in my mind... along with who.. my parents and... brother are.. I must.. speak slowly.. as not used.. to it" speaking to here Amory gave a grin. He slowly sat down and started thinking again while Martin just looked at him.
Moving wasn't too hard, as it didn't involve much difficulty. Only walking a bit to get used to it. But talking troubled him because the tongue was smaller and needed to be moved the right way when speaking.
As Martin looked at Amory he slowly walked forwards. When Amory mentioned his parents, pain started to swell up inside him. Kneeling in front of Amory he slowly said in a bumpy voice, "Amory." as Amory looked up at him he continued, "You didn't see.. how great our parents were. They, our parents, were the kings of an entire country." as he spoke to here his eyes started to turn red, clearly holding in the immense pain he was feeling. His voice started getting rougher, "E-even though.. you didn't meet them...I.. I can assure you, they.. loved us very much. W-..we must.. not let their lives be in vain. This chance.. they gave us, we have to.. we must cherish it and together, build a new empire. Eventually, I'll avenge them but I want you to help me brother!" as Martin started getting towards the end anger ignited in him, making his voice clear and loud.
"Martin, it'll be.. fine. Don't worry brother.. we have.. each other." Amory noticed Martin only needed someone to comfort him as he was just a young boy facing life by its fangs. He had played tough long enough and needed someone to give him peace of mind.
Hearing this, Martin couldn't hold in his tears as he threw himself towards Amory, it looked odd as an older boy cried in the arms of a smaller younger boy but who had never been comforted by a younger person, this wasn't the odd thing though, what was different was that they were both nude.
After almost half an hour Martin slowly went back to normal, it actually surprised Amory for him to calm down that quickly. He was either more mature than his age implied or hadn't completely let it all out.
"We should get a view of the outside, it can get dangerous in beast lands." Martin stood up and felt much better than he had previously been. Giving a helping hand to Amory they both stood in front of each other.
Martin had slightly long black hair reaching to his golden sharp eyes. His jawline was round, and his nose was small and sharp, under his nose were small pink lips. He had handsome looks for an eleven-year-old and coupled with his slightly muscular body he was sure to be blessed with handsome features in the future.
Amory who was only five years old was like an angel, his small body was slightly chubby. He had long silky black hair that slightly reflected light. It reached above his eyes that were a deep blue, resembling a deep infinite ocean. He had a round jawline and a small pointy nose. His mouth was small and pink. His looks were closer to their mother's whereas his brother's was closer to their father's.
"Yeah, let's go." answered back Amory with a nod of his head.
Walking towards the exit side by side, Amory reached Martin's stomach. Martin was a little more than a foot taller than him. As they reached the exit the breeze that swept in the cave gave them chills, but they couldn't do anything about it as they didn't even have underwear on. It was only a few hours until noon and it was a bit foggy in the forest.
As they walked forwards, they were heading towards the place they had crashed at. Martin started speaking while they were walking.
"We must first look for a city or at least a village, we can try entering an academy as a starting point to get a foothold on our situation." said Martin with a clear voice. He had gotten more mature along with his growth spurt from a few hours ago.
"Mhm, I agree." replied Amory as they closed in on the barren land where the explosion had occurred.
As they looked around Amory's attention was caught by two small beads that were a few feet away from him, crouching down he grabbed them and immediately knew what they were. His eyes shimmered as he grasped them in his hands.
"Amory, before the ceremony father had me train intensely with the thought of making me as strong as possible before.. that. I managed to reach the Martial Warrior realm at age five, and continued training for another year but now many years of training were lost, I'm probably an above average now amongst kids my current age. Being at the ancestor intermediate stage I can fight against people a few stages above me." as Amory listened to this he remembered he was surrounded by dangers!
He was only a normal human with no power right now and could probably die by even a weak fist bump from his brother. "Martin! Carry me end ron tu somweer safe!" as Amory panicked he jumped on Martin's back.
Martin had barely understood him trying hard not to let out a giggle at Amory's odd sounding words. He did understand what Amory meant to say though as he quickly started running towards the closest hill. Amory was still clutching the two beads as he held on to Martin.
Running as fast as he could, Martin's destination was the closest hill a few miles away from them. He planned to use it as a viewing point to see what was around them.
Like this, two nude young handsome boys could be seen rushing forwards. One was on the back of the other but nonetheless they were both speeding forwards.
Dozens of miles away from Amory and Martin a dark figure rode on a big falcon as he sped towards the crash site.
"Someone's coming..." whispered Feston as he turned towards the sky.
