Chapter 1 – The Beginning

“ROOOOAR!!!”

Below the cliff of a lush forest, there is a shark-like beast with four small limbs. Though it does look a little bit terrifying, but because of it’s body figure, the way it’s running is very…..weird. It has a very low saturate peach skin with some small dots all over it’s body. The most noticeable part of it’s body is probably the mouth. It’s mouth is very large that it probably can even bite an entire house without any problem! Not to mention the teeth of this shark-like beast, it looks very hard and sharp!

And now that mouth is stretching large open behind a small youth whom running with all his might from this terrifying but weird beast. His body is full of sweat but has no sign of exhaustion and stopping. Even his face seems to be full of vigor! It looks like he just running for some exercise routine.

“Gah! Why the heck is this stupid beast chasing me!? I only ate one of your meat!? What’s wrong with that!” Not even felt guilty with his action, he even cursed the beast. It seems like this event is triggered by his self, this boy sure is irresponsible.

“ROAAR!” The beast looks like it has some intelligences, it may interpreted the youth word as an insult. Well, even the most idiotic person can tell that. Angered by the youth, it increase it’s speed and stretch it’s mouth becoming even larger.

Then it started to chomp everything in the way, and what surprising is, it can even crush a large rock like eating a candy! What a terrifying strength it has! And it’s speed is not slow but alas it also not really fast. Or else the boy’s head might already be bitten off.

“Argh! This guy!” Become terrified by the beast action, the youth started to increase his speed. His leg started to move in a bizarre way that it creating an illusion of water sprouting under his foot. His movement becomes even more fluid and beautiful! All obstacles in front of him have been passed easily! It’s just like the forest is his playground!

Satisfied with his performance, the youth turn back to look at the beast and make a hook with his two fingers. Added with his smug face, he deliberately made the beast irritated. Quite a playful one, isn’t he?

“Grr…..ROAAARRRR!!!” The beast became extremely angered with the youth playful actions and wanted to bite him into smithereens! But suddenly one of it’s leg seems to hit something stretchy. But it didn’t care and only run straight ahead towards the youth. Considering it’s intelligence level, it may actually take notice that there is something fishy with this event, but without being clear-headed, what can it do?

Heh, idiot beast , so easy to trick!

Unknown to the beast, it appear that the youth has plan something early! After reaching a tall tree, the youth started to jump to the top of the tree trying to grab something. Unexpectedly, a brown rope has been readied at the top the tree, the youth grab it and seems ready to pull it at any time.

“Haha! Come on you stupid beast! You think you can catch me easily? Go back and eat that awful meat of yours!” The youth unceasingly provoke the beast with poisonous word. Hoping the beast to eat his word and fall for his trap!

“ROAAAR!!” Not even slowing down, the beast sped through the youth location with it’s terrifying mouth! Then the youth suddenly pull the rope, and the beast suddenly stop it track. Using it’s instinct as a beast, it suddenly felt an ominous feeling.

*thump* *thump*

SHOOM!

Two large bolt appeared riding through the wind with hi-speed! The size of this bolt isn’t something for a normal cross bow can fired! It probably fired with a heavy bow gun! Even a human who watched from sideline can felt the dreadful power of the two bolts. If it hit the beast, the bolt would surely pierce through it’s skull and crush it brain to dust!

Sensing the two bolts, the beast immediately open it mouth wanted to swallow both of it! But obviously when it saw the size of both bolt, it’s eyes bulged out! It immediately retract it’s mouth and dodge to the side. But before it can dodge, the youth take out a small sphere bottle from his small leather pack and throw below the beast. The liquid in the bottle has a light blue color giving it a chilling feels. Upon colliding with the ground, it suddenly created a small burst of icicle frozen both of the beast leg! Fortunately for the beast, it’s skin is very tough making it resist the icicle sharpness.

But for the bolt? Probably not. Well that is where the beast becomes unfortunate.

This youth is a very calculative and careful person. There no doubt in the future he will have a very high achievement!

“Haha, take that! That’s for chasing me! I’ve only take one of your meats, and it even tasted horrible! You have a lot of other, and you only want to chase me for that!? This is what happened when you tried to rob Hira!” The youth shout loudly while the bolts piercing through the wind going straight at the beast location. Judging by what the youth shout, it obviously his fault, but he surely is an obstinate boy for not admitting his fault. And who are the actual robber here? Not just obstinate, but pretty shameless too.

The beast expression becomes ugly and it started to regret for chasing this youth. Though there might be some deceit from what the youth said, but it is true that the beast has much more meat left for itself, one meat will not change anything. But as old people say, there is no medicine for regret, so the beast can only accept it fate readily. The beast turns and looks at the bolt majestically, showing that it will not fall down from the face of death. Even if it will die, then let it die proudly!

But!

“Nu uh, I want to see your miserable face. Not this kind of expression.” The youth unexpectedly won’t give it a chance to die triumphantly. With a swift movement, he takes out a needle and thrown it toward the beast forehead. The beast suddenly stopped moving and become stunned! It can’t even wiggle itself! It totally become like a corpse! But it can still move it’s eyes. When the beast realize it’s condition, and saw the bolt coming toward it, it can’t help but show a very hopeless expression.

*Pierce* *Pierce*

And just like that, it died being pierce by both bolt.

“Hmm, well this guy is much more challenging then that grizzly bear....but it still not enough. It’s not enough…..” He said solemnly while watching the beast corpse. Then he closed his eyes and start focusing, but after just a few minutes his expression become distress. He open his eyes and looks around him, it appear like he searching for something.

“Why? Why did you take it from me….my….everything……” he slowly muttered. Then his face shows a very longing expression with a hint of sadness. But after a moment he fixed his composure and let out an unrestrained aura! His expression become determine showing that he will go through every obstacle that are given to him.

“Hah! You think I’ll give up? Even if you lacerate every part of my body. Seize my life, talent and soul. YOU THINK I’ll GIVE UP!?” With a grave and determine expression, the youth shout toward the sky loudly even creating a small shockwave around him. His eyes become bloodshot having those red lines appear in his white eye balls.

“I’ll ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU KILLED, RIPPED AND PIERCED EVERY ONE OF MY FAMILY! “

“I’LL REMEMBER HOW YOU BURN, DESTROY AND ANNIHILATE MY CLAN AND VILLAGE!”

“AND MARK MY WORDS….I’LL ERASE ALL OF YOUR EXISTENCE IN THIS WORLD! THAT IS HOW I’LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR YOUR ACTION… I’LL DESTROY YOUR LIFE, TALENT, SOUL AND YOUR RACE!”

“REMEMBER MY NAME, I AM HIRA!!!!!!!” Hira shouted his name using all his might and unbelievably, his shouted created an invisible beam that pierce through the sky. The beam has made a hole of emptiness on the blue sky. He has shouted the same sentence for a whole two years! He kept repeating it and making it as a habit to make him remember the calamity that has fallen onto his whole clan. At the present, he had reached the age of 10 and had already been forced to live and survive alone in the middle of unknown forest.

The calamity two years ago has force him to be thrown below the cliff that is called “End of Abyss”. At first he thought he would be dead, but unbeknownst to him, he still survive the fall and had been made to survive until the present time. But it was hell when the first time he come into this forest, with a mentality of an 8 years old boy with his clan has been annihilated, what keep making him to feel alive? He is shrouded by a whole feeling of guiltiness and hatred.

Why does he the only one who survived?

That sentence has been replaying in his mind over and over again. Over time, he started to recovered slowly, but even before he can completely recovered, he discovered another upset news that struck his mind like a lightning. He can’t feel any mana essence around him. He tried to meditate for one whole day and still failed miserably. This made his mental to break down. He released his tension by killing. He killed the weakest beast and then slowly started to kill the stronger one to vent his anger. He uses his intelligence and invents any weapon he could to fight every beast he found. With his “Hidden Summer Sea Step” skill, he can escape from any beast easily.

This has caused him to train his whole body into a killing machine and all emotion in him has already died down. The only thing in his mind is revenge and strength!

Over those two years, he had already travelled mindlessly through all this forest and it can also be said that he had discovered almost every part of this forest. He had a hope to find a community of human, but it has still not been achieved. Because of this bizarre forest he actually can’t find any way out and seems to be lost wherever he wanted to find an exit.

“Fuh….I’m done here, time to find the next prey.” After calming his mind and body he started to pack every gear he had. He can’t afford to be wasteful because of the limited resources in the forest.

After packing up, he suddenly felt something amiss on him. He felt like there is something that is calling him. After hunting beast for whole two year non-stop, Hira’s instinct and perception had been trained into high realm. He would surely not make any mistake on his assumption.

“What is this feeling….” When he turned his face, with the intention to search for the location of the mysterious feeling, a majestic gate suddenly appeared in front of him.
