《Creation, The wolves that are us (Creation series, Book 1)》A Serene Moment

Percy's POV
Listening to Athena thoroughly explaining to Thomas the details of the time he was gone I soundly sit in Adam's lap as he plucks through my hair like a monkey. Weirding me out just a bit I admit but I guess he's just bored. "Athena, remember when we used to spar when we were little and you'd always win? How about we change the scores just a little bit?" He states while lifting me up to my feet and walking up to her
"And here I thought Mr Pouts needed a little break?"
"KILL EACH OTHER DO IT!" Yasmine screams out between the two siblings with exaggerated hand gestures as we all stare at her with shock
"You just couldn't hold that one in, could you?" Thomas laughs but acknowledges her honesty
"Well the basic rules were: No killing that's for one, No permanent damages such as eyes and stuff...uh that was basically it?" Adam explains as Athena nods in agreement "As much as I'd like to shift this time, we don't exactly have the clothes to spare for this do we?"
"I mean we were always forced to do wolf combat to begin with, we haven't used these flesh bag forms before. But next time for sure" She says but I feel like she's just agreeing for a different reason...
"Alright let me countdown for you two, since you clearly can't wait to jump at each other" I call out, referring to their body postures slightly tilted down as if they forget they're not shifted, "3, 2, 1-" Adam not waiting for the countdown as he slaps her with a gush of water from the nearby lake. Athena completely unprepared for it, having her head tilted to the side in astonishment. "Adam, do you remember why you lost every time?" she goes on as she extends her hair towards Adam, looping around his ankles and tripping him up as he tried to run away from it.
"Cause I felt bad beating you so horribly that I gave up each time?" He blurts out while gathering more water around him and slicing through the attached strands, putting a bit too much force into it as it dents the ground under him, "You...really just cut my hair?" She spits out in a growing rage. Yasmine getting visibly excited as she jumps up and down with the fight escalating.
"You can grow it back whenever, stop overreacting!" Adam laughs while aiming a current at her, ultimately getting it turned on him and sending him flying back into a tree. "I won cause I had more authority compared to your muscle head of a body. That alone made your gifts useless against me" Her yellow eyes gleaming through strands of her soaked blond hair as she death stares my mate currently pinned against the tree.

"Athena, that was back when I wasn't a full Alpha. Why do you think I wanted a rematch suddenly?" Adam smirks with his eyes turning gold, all of us visibly shocked as the floor begins to shake. "Adam remember no killing" I remind his dumbass who's seemingly now trying to actually harm her. "This won't kill my sister, don't worry. I just need to show her the better half now".
The lake itself vibrating as the water slowly rises out of the place it was sitting. Gathering more into the spherical orb now gigantic in size hovering over the lake. "Adam!" I scream at him but he's clearly too focused on controlling so much at once. "You little shit, you just wanted to test out your new strength didn't you?" Athena realises a bit too late as the mass of water lurks above all of us now, Adam's face tensing up and ready to release it. "I WANNA JOIN!" Yasmine shouts without warning, running directly under it and concentrating heat in her hands...releasing it straight into the orb as a thick mist forms from the collision.
"Well...uh is it too late to call a truce?" I hear her say in defeat as the steam clears up, seeing the mass of water very clearly still there and only slightly reduced in size. "You thought you could put it out?" Adam questions as she sighs in response. "Okay well for the sake of all of us not being wet the entire day, can we put away the ball of...wet? Is water truly wet or-" Thomas being interrupted by Athena "Truly another question for our world thank you Thomas, but I'm not one for giving up" She firmly stands her ground, aiming both hands at it as she tenses her fists.
"Even if I wanted to, I admit I used my energy just lifting the thing nonetheless moving it. Only option here is to drop it-" Adam beginning to realise what Athena is doing
"Yeah I'm gonna...go for shelter" I prepare myself but just a tad bit too late as I look to the ground I see the spherical water's form shifting and losing it's perfect shape, damn egotistical alphas. An extremely loud pop echoes as the water explodes above us, soaking all of us and I slip on the wet mud. Falling face first into the ground and rethinking my choices of being with these clear abominations for land creatures, "WHY IS IT EVERYTIME YOU GUYS DO SOMETHING, WE ALL GET DRENCHED!" I scream out with energy I have left. Making them all laugh at me, Yasmine literally choking on the water landing in her throat but still having her way with the humour.

"We can literally just pull the water from your clothes, chill out" Athena sits down in the mud without a care, appearing more relaxed than before.
"And you failed to mention this before!?" - Thomas
"It was funny seeing you guys panic so hard, did you seriously not consider us being able to do that?" - Adam
"I thought about it but never did I think life would be that easy" - Percy
"Well it is if you have an Alpha's precision" Adam winks at me, pulling my body in for a hug but the wet clothing making it incredibly uncomfortable.
"Once night falls in a few hours we're gonna have to discuss a few things that I've came across, between Cliodhna's answers, the rogue blood and all that." Athena regrettably discusses which slightly brings us back into a more serious mood but I can't blame her for it.
"Yeah that's fine, I've been wanting to ask Thomas what it felt like to be possessed by something." - Percy
"Like someone jumping into your throat and splitting your jaw open while doing so." He ends with a serious tone
"Yeah...didn't think it'll be all wonderland and happiness, I'm sorry we weren't even the ones who could stop you. If it makes you feel better you tried to kill me!" I say with a happy expression and earning their mixed expressions
"I-Why"
"No clue, guess we'll find some answers here" I state, referring to us entering the Moonlit Sky pack. Thomas' face suddenly drained of colour as he turns around to face a far off distance
"Thunder..." - Thomas
"What?"
"We didn't hear anything?" Athena responds but in doubt of her own words
"I...don't know" He admits in his own confusion, "My head's just hazy, like I can't think for myself. My actions being predetermined and another mind just justifying them..." He explains but there's nothing we can offer to relate to him or even attempt to explain
"Well as Percy said, maybe we'll find some answers here. Try not to worry at the moment" - Adam
"What are you all doing here?" A female voice speaks out
"We-" Athena starts to talk but Athena takes over
"We came here to alert the Moonlit Sky pack of increasing rogue numbers, as well as possibly ask your elder a few questions we don't have an understanding to." - Athena
"All of you are from what pack?" The woman asks, in response Adam introduces us all after showing his gold eyes to her and explains the dread we went through getting here. But him and Athena exchanging a few looks in between explainations.
"Are you just not going to question the random person who's questioning you right now? You could be talking to an enemy."
"With all due respect, you didn't do a good job at hiding your gift" Athena announces which catches the woman off guard
"And what would that be?"
"You were watching us for sometime, you stepped over a thread of my hair I scattered throughout the trees behind us...just in case. But you not only remained hidden until now but also when upon seeing us you immediately identified the two Alphas, you felt intimidated didn't you. An aura reader I presume?" Athena completely analysing this poor woman's intentions and making her look like the clueless one
"This being exactly why I didn't approach you earlier haha, an overconfident alpha as always...but I have to concede, you're correct. I'm Melanie of the Moonlit Sky pack, we're just returning from an outing and are waiting for the entrance to open. She gestures to the others behind her that I didn't previously notice." From what I've heard from others, the Moonlit Sky pack don't have the best fighters and so often remain very secluded and almost timid around other packs. This defence being their best form of separating themselves from the real world.
"So with that being out of the way, will you allow us to enter your pack and discuss our earlier motives?" - Athena
"I'd be fine with that, your intentions seem pure and I'd surely be a mess up if my only job of being a lie detector would be faulty right now." Melanie's strong posture breaking and showing a more shy side as she curls some of her long hair between her fingers, pulling it in front of her face for cover.
"Thank you, we won't miss place your kindness Melanie" Adam finishes with a smile, still holding me near him. Possibly staying on guard at the pack members standing behind her still remaining in wolf form.
"Now just to wait?" Thomas asks with an almost sigh of relief
"Yes, the lake will do the rest" - Melanie
"What?" Yasmine asks in curiosity
"You'll see" Melanie's eyes sparkling with excitement as if she's preparing to see something spectacular.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

Daybreak
In a world of swords, magic, and wonders, Vreil suddenly loses his family to a twist of fate. On his quest to survive, he follows a mysterious wizard, and becomes embroiled in a revolution he knows little of. He cultivates magic, learns to fight with a blade, and meets worthy companions. He grows stronger and more mature, gradually turning from prey into a hunter. And in his journey, Vreil clashes with pirates, immortal jokesters, wolves and, even worse, sheep. Can he use magic, blade and wit to fight them off? Or will he be the one to fall instead? Follow Vreil on his adventures. Witness the dawn of an era. 🧙🧙🧙 This is a story I'd written a few years back, and I figured it's a waste to just let it sit around. Most of it is already written, but I'm going through the chapters and editing the shit out of them. This story is NOT a Lit-RPG, so no blue screens or anything of the sort. It is just fast-paced fiction with slight cultivation elements. Updates are bi-daily (so every 2 days), and chapters are 1500-3000 words. As always, feedback is more than welcome. Why are you still reading the synopsis? You have already decided. Go ahead, give this story a shot. It's worth it.
