Musa gathered every item he and his brother have at their inn, and placed them at their bags.

What a nice woman. Letting two strangers she barely knows into her large castle

While Musa was thinking of Saya, he slapped himself, wanting to get rid of his impure thoughts about her.

I don’t think of her that way, Musa denied to himself.

Musa finally took his runeblade and placed it in a scabbard

I got a feeling that I’m going to need this

After paying the remaining fees at the inn, Musa sprinted towards Saya’s castle. For him, a place such as a castle would be good for his brother.

Meanwhile, at the castle,

Yana was walking around the castle, searching for Yuulah and Moto. As she waking around the courtyard, she saw the two of them, deep in their sleeps.

She must have been training again

Yana carried the kids back to their rooms and tucked them in

I’m sorry Yuulah, mommy cannot be here with you always.

On the dining hall, Saya is eating the dishes prepared by Yana.

“Yuuno, your wife’s cooking is exquisite. It is super delicious, and also strengthens me.”

Saya raised her hands and shouted,

“Hiya!”

“Hahahahaha. Just keep celebrating, young mistress, it is not everyday that we get to eat Yana’s cooking.”

“That’s true. That’s true.”

Suddenly, in their peaceful bliss, an explosion was heard. A servant ran to Saya and Yuuno, and in an exasperated voice, he shouted,

“Intruders! Two Sorcerers have breached our gates!”

Just outside the gates, the two sorcerers are having a shouting match with each other.

“I told you not to blow up the gate. We are here to capture Saya, not kill her.”

“But older sis, I want explosions.”

“You’ll get explosions later. But right now, our priority is to capture that Saya girl.”

The younger sorcerer simply grunted in frustration.

“Since you alerted them anyway, let’s just smash the place and find that Saya girl.”

In the dining hall, Yana ran towards Saya and Yuuno.

“Yuuno, let’s protect Lady Saya. These aren’t ordinary opponents. They are sorcerers.”

“I see. Lady Saya, you must go to your room or go to Yuulah’s room. Stay there and hide. Do you understand.”, bellowed Yuuno

Saya nodded and dashed towards the rooms in the castle. She decided to go to Yuulah and Moto since the sorcerers may target the kids and she doesn’t them to be used as leverage at some point.

The two sorcerers rampaged throughout the walkway, knocking out servant after servant

“This is so uncultured brother.”

“But older sis, this is so fun. Destroying meat after another.”

“Why are you such a sadist?”

“You thought me well big sis.”

The older of the sorcerers simply touched her face, very frustrated at the bloodlust of her brother. As they were making their way to the castle, the two sorcerers were stopped by two individuals. It was Yuuno and Yana.

“You will not pass.”, said the couple in unison.

“Hahahahahahahaah.”, said the younger sorcerer

The younger sorcerer drew out his wand and poured his energy into it.

FIRE ORBS

In a quick fashion, the sorcerer unleashed a barrage of fire orbs toward Yuuno and Yana.

Yuuno quickly evaded those attacks and gathered his energy.

Spirit of thee. Provide me with protection, grant me thy armor

“Level 1? Do you underestimate me!!! Die!!!!!!”

FIRE ORBS

Once again, fire orbs were launched from the younger sorcerer. The orbs were launched towards Yuuno who simply tanked the attacks. The sorcerer simply grunted in frustration.

While the fighting between the younger sorcerer and Yuuno was ongoing, the older sorcerer drew her staff towards Yana who did the same.

Yana prepared her defenses

Earth spirit, provide thee with strength. Give us your fists. Strike all those who stand in my way

EARTH FIST

After finishing the incantation, two large fists emerged from the ground. The fists were directed against the older sorcerer, with the aim of knocking her down. A brief explosion was heard and debris spread across the hall.

With the smoke cleared, Yana gazed at her opponent, hoping that she is knocked out, but expecting worst, she prepared for an attack. But to her surprise, the sorcerer did not attack. She simply used a barrier to deflect that attack

A barrier, of course. I should not expect anything less from them.

“So your still fighting the good fight aren’t you, Yana.”, said the sorcerer.

“And you’re still a gun for hire, Grizelda.”

“Hahahahaha. Such a goodie too shoes. Does the alliance pay you enough to be away from your family?”

Upon hearing the taunt of Grizelda with regards to her family, Yana gave an icy glare at her. Now, she intends to destroy her.

“You do not tell me how to be a good parent.”, shouted Yana.

“At least I’m always with my brother”, taunted Grizelda.

“Your sociopathic brother.”

“Hito may be a sociopath, but at least big sis is here with him. Anyway, what about Yuulah? Does it bother you that you cannot be with her every night? Hahahahaha.”

“You bitch”, Yana shouted with anger.

Gaia, give me your resolve, allow me to use earth on your behalf. Show me your support.

EARTH PILLAR

Suddenly two large pillars emerged from underneath Grizelda, pushing her to the ceiling of the castle. However, just before she could make contact with the ceiling, Grizelda used wind magic to stop the attack

Winds of change, heed my call. Give me your precision, strike every enemy of mine

WIND BLADE

With the pillars cut down by the wind blade, Grizelda jumped towards Yana, hoping to strike her down.

While the battle between the women is still going on, Yuuno is struggling in his fight against Hito.

He is not a weakling. He may be madman, but he is strong

“Hahahahahahaaha.”

Flames of the dragon, spray my enemies with fire. Destroy them all

FLAME BULLET

Multitudes upon multitudes of smaller fire orbs emerged. Aimed at Yuuno, those mini orbs kept on hitting him. Even if his armor was able to defend himself against the flame attacks, the attacks kept on coming and coming.

Eventually, those attacks would destroy my armor. I need to find a way to hit him

“What’s the matter, weakling. Are you too much of a gutless coward to attack me?”

Light lend me your spirit. Hand me your brilliance. Allow me to become your vessel.

FISTS OF LIGHT

With glowing fists, Yuuno decided to attack Hito. Removing his spirit armor, he concentrated on the attack, intent on finishing off his opponent.

“Hahahahahahahaha. You insolent fool. My words do have an effect on you.”, taunted Hito

Just as he was gloating, a fist connected with Hito’s face, ultimately knocking him out.

“This is what you deserve.”, said Yuuno.

HITO DEFEATED

After Yuuno brought his opponent down, his wife Yana is still currently in a middle of a battle with Hito’s older sister, Grizelda.

WIND BLADES

Grizelda attacked Yana with her wind blade but was blocked thanks to the Earth armor of Yana. Creating a sword out of earth, Yana matched the wind blades, blow for blow. Their clashes rocked the castle and some of the walls even showed small cracks due to the damage inflicted in their battle.

“You really are a tough opponent, Yana.”

“Same goes to you Grizelda.”

“It’s a shame that I have to finish you.”

“Likewise”

The two women continued with the clash. The earth blade matching the wind blade blow for blow. Exhausted, the two women discarded their blades of wind and earth respectively. Each of them drew their staffs, aimed at each other,

Wind that gives me energy, wind the gives me breeze and wind that knocks down enemies. Give me your power

WIND ORB LEVEL 2

Gaia, with your sturdy power, give me your energy. Let the earth flow thru me. Blast forth your enemies.

EARTH ORB LEVEL 2

With all their might, the orbs of wind and earth clashed together. Both of them determined to crush their enemies.

“Aaaahhhh”

“Aaahhhhh”

When the two orbs met it crashed against each other, with neither one giving up ground. The force of the clash continued until cracks appeared on both of the orbs. And then,

BOOM

An explosion shook the hallway, and when the debris is cleared, Yana is still standing up, clutching her shoulders whereas her opponent, Grizelda is down and out.

I managed to outpower her.

GRIZELDA DEFEATED

With the two of them recovering from the attack, they sat down the hallway, resting but assured that no one will go after their mistress and their ward, Saya. But then…

One of the members of the Alaborn House showed up.

“We always have a plan B. Do you fools think that those losers are the only ones who will attack you. Hahahahahahaha.”, said the Alaborn kid.

“Who are you?”, asked Yuuno and Yana

“I am Falio, the youngest child of Guanyo, and as per my father’s wish, I’m here to take Saya. Hahahahahaha”

Valiantly, Yuuno and Yana stood up. Both are ready to face him. Falio drew his sword and attacked the couple. Bravely, they tried to resist his attacks but due to the damages sustained in the previous battle, they were no match for the attack of Falio who knocked both of them out.

Falio then marched towards the rooms of the castle, eventually finding Saya.

“Come Saya, you will be a part of a glorious family.”

“No”, a defiant Saya said.

“Alright then.”

Saya looked around the room and took a wooden sword, ready to resist Falio, but a wooden sword is simply no match against a blade. So, when Saya’s sword was easily destroyed by Falio. In desperation, Saya kicked Falio downstairs, temporarily startling him. Saya then found a steel bar and readied herself for a defense against Falio.

“Hmmmm. Maybe you didn’t listen. We’ll do this the easy way or the hard way.”

In a move of defiance, Saya spat in the face of Falio. Expecting an attack against her, Saya prepared to defend herself, but Falio looked at the sleeping children and aimed his sword at them.

“You have a choice Saya, you or them.”

Immediately, Saya dropped the steel bar and placed her hands up.

“Good girl.”

Wanting to ensure that Saya won’t escape him. Falio bound her hands to a rope. And to make sure that there will be no resistance, Falio chopped her neck to put her to sleep.

This is easier than expected

Suddenly, a man appeared, his blade drawn towards Falio

“Drop her.”

“Who are you to tell me to drop her?”

“I am Musa. I will be the greatest rune wielder in the world.”

“Fool, runes are unpredictable at best, and a hindrance at worst.”

“I don’t care.”

Falio then placed Saya in a corner, not wanting to harm her, unless he wants to face the wrath of his parents. He quickly drew his sword, when,

SLASH

FALIO DEFEATED

A single slash from Musa brought Falio down. Moving towards Saya, he untied her ropes and woke her up.

“Hey…. Thank you for saving me again.”

“No problems.”

“Brother!”, said a screaming man from the room.”

“Moto?”

“She saved us. Without hesitation, she gave herself up for our sake.”, said Moto

“Aren’t you asleep?”, asked a confused Saya

“When you barged into our room, I woke up, but pretended to sleep so that the evil man won’t notice me. But it didn’t work. I’m so sorry Lady Saya.”

“There is nothing to be sorry for. You are just a kid. I don’t expect you to sacrifice your life for me.”, said Saya.

“Muta, I’ll hide Falio. Even if you did a brave thing, you still struck down a noble. Unless you’re a part of my house, you could be put in a dungeon.”, said Saya

“I’ll face whatever challenge they may give me.”, said Musa.

“I may have a solution for our dilemma”, said an exhausted voice.

“Yana?”, said Saya

“Let me handle this.”, reassured Yana.
