The orc slightly turned towards my direction and said.
“For the newcomer I'll explain the rules there will be a total of 5 matches in the arena between two fighters you can either choose to kill your opponent or spare them none the less everything goes in the pit arena for victory as long as it's done by your hands, who ever wins all matches proceeds to the finals to fight last years champion Jarogniew Lionheart the reward this time around is an enchanted item called Shapeless it can transform to any shape that the owner wishes whether a weapon or armor hell you could even transform it into a pocketwatch the potential behind this weapon lies in the way you use it and your imagination.”
“The first match will be Violet Morgan vs Demien Keeling!”
“The Second match will be Ymo Blackwood vs Raphael Kellman”
“The third match will be Grim Fade vs Pitchman Greytooth”
“The Fourth match will be Samuel Morelli vs Norrix Moriarty”
“And the Final match shall be Vlad The Impaler vs The Dark Elf!”
The orc slightly coughed and said.
“Dismissed! All of you meet back here at noon today any later and punishments shall be given out.”
With that we all went our separated ways but there was now a new problem in front of me I had to get Intel on my opponent and badly if I'm not prepared I'll die before I have even begun my best bet would be the slums where the local bullies hang out at, after searching around a bit I found a shady looking dark eyed boy playing with a couple of pitch black dices in his hands, he had a creepy grin on his face as he threw the dices around as I was about to walk past him he said a few words.
“I heard that you're looking for information about Vlad The Impaler.”
I slightly raised my eyebrow in response and said.
“How did you know that? And if I am?”
The boy only laughed and said.
“Anyone would be able to figure that out when you been going around asking everyone in plain sight about it, but I could recall something about that Vlad The Impaler if you make it worth my while.”
I threw a couple of silver tags that are used as currency in here you could exchange them for clothes, weapons, armor or even less upstanding items alas he caught them in his hands and chuckled as he begin to talk.
“All I know about Vlad The Impaler is that he made his debut a few months ago slightly after our Golden Boy Jarogniew demonstrated his might in the pit arena last year during which Vlad earned his name by using deadly methods such as poisons to make his opponents feel pain that would make anyone want to kill themselves let alone the scary idea of watching your skin fall off of your face if anyone survived his attacks he would then begin to use his actual weapon a scythe that was gifted to him by his father with a vampiric bloodsucking enchantment if someone stronger than him were to get through that then he would try to trick you into not killing him during which he would blackstab you with one of his daggers dipped in his poison.”

The boy took off the bandages covering the other side of his face and said.
“Here's what happens if you underestimate that sneaky bastard don't show any mercy and cripple em for me otherwise you'll end up like myself with a burned up face, but as a bonus I'll advise you not to kill Vlad if you do no one can save you after all his father is one of The Higher ups in The Horde unlike others if you were to kill his son he would stop at no means possible to kill you in order to get revenge for his son after all his race is rarely able to give birth to a male heir and if they do then that kid dies during birth, so you can understand why he's so protective of him.”
Listening to those words I nodded and gave my thanks for now I had to boost my speed quickly and take the measures to deal with that poison after all during my travels in my old life I learned a way to gain immunity against most poisons such as that it most likely came from a green eyed monkey that shoots out spit that burns the fresh and skin while slowly attacking the heart, I'll have to spend more silver tags to exchange for venom from three different kinds of snakes to reproduce the effect of the spit though.
“What do need? We sell dog meat and lizard hearts.”
Looking at the green eyed man's wares I found what I needed it was inside a small wooden box with a wide selection of snake venom I picked the red, orange, and purple bottles and gave him 5 more silver tags leaving me left with only 30 silver tags.
Heading back to my room I closed the door and make sure no one was going to disturb me after I confirmed there was no one watching who could mess this up I opened the bottles of placed them in front of me as I sat down onto the floor entering into my blood trying to draw out that dark mana inside me I took out almost all of it and quickly drained the bottles of their liquids fusing them with blood steam while controlling my mana to enforce my veins so that it doesn't damage them suddenly a blue window popped up in my face.
Poison Resistance Gained!

Poison Resistance Leveled up!
Seeing this turn of events it confirmed another one of my theory’s unlike others in this world who require skill books I could gain new skills simply by doing the required action therefore I found a solution to my problem of increasing my strength with the remaining hours left I would try to gain as many skills I can and if possible level them up further.

First off I got a couple of weights and put them over my stomach while enforcing my body with mana to increase the durability as I went up and down with the weights on top of me many times a blue window popped up.
Hard Body Gained!
'Heh just you wait you ugly orc I'll have you at my feet within weeks with this cheat ability of mine.'
I picked up one of the wooden greatswords that I had bought and started to start a motion of swings with my greatsword unlike a normal sword those armed with greatswords aren't as quick as those with normal swords but with my Roaring Lighting Style that law didn't affect me in my past light I could move my greatsword as thought it was only a stick quickly taking off the heads of my enemies with only a few quick motions behind my attacks was earthshaking attack power.
'Faster! Faster! Faster!'
I started to swing the greatsword faster and faster while doing spit motions to pull back my attacks and hit at the legs of my ghost opponent who I took as Vlad The Impaler to me his attack style was described as hit and run I dealt with many like him during my life as an adventurer therefore I was able to quickly make a counter to it as I did the motions more and more a feint layer of dark lighting started to surround my body increasing my speed by tenfold within minutes a few blue boxes popped up in my face
Roaring Thunder Style Leveled up!
Roaring Thunder Style Leveled up!
Sage Mind Gained!
Ignoring the many blue windows popping up in my face I blocked everything out and only focused on putting that feint trace of Dark Lighting within my mana pool onto my sword going faster and faster with my thrusts and strikes making quick turns while attacking at that ghostly figures chest yet he made a dodging motion going under me and stabbing at my neck with his blade giving off a murderous and cold red trace of energy but before it connected I made a quick turn of my head as I shot it towards his arm slicing it off as he screamed in the air, he started to back away from he pleading and begging for me to spare him yet as I turned my back and tried to throw some of the poison in his hands at me I only walked through it and stabbed towards his forehead with my blade during which the ghostly figured turned into smoke.
“Whoa that was tough I felt pity for a moment my senses must have dulled if I actually fell for his act through this though I can now tell there's no possible way to spare that treacherous bastard leaving him alive would be like forgiving the demon god himself I refuse to spare Vlad when we face each other I'll use the same methods that he used on other before I crush his skull with these very hands to hell If his bastard of a father tries to avenge him if he gets in my way I'll destroy him, there's no way that I'm gonna be stuck in this remote horde continent I'll conquer all of the horde and march my way towards the Human Continent with The Horde under my feet to kill that man with these very hands even now I can feel his toxic presences near me with that smirk on his face...”
'Shit looking at the sky it's almost time I'll check these Blue windows first.'
Mind Space Gained!
Lighting Control Gained!
Lighting Control Changed To Dark Lighting Control!
Dark Lighting Control Leveled Up!
Dark Lighting Control Leveled Up!
Poison Resistance Leveled up!
Sense Presence Gained!
Hard Body Leveled up!
After quickly closing the windows I made my way towards the arena when I saw that fat orc with a grin on his face.
“Listen up weaklings! The Pit Matches Shall Begin Violet Morgan and Demien Keeling make your way towards the square!”

Isekai Dungeoncrawl - Am Ende mit meinem Latein
I have always thought I would live out my life without any major surprises. You know, work on the estates of my parents, serve my time as a soldier, become a senator, a praetor, maybe a consul in time. I thought I will live the life that a Roman noble of my standing can count on. But this was not to be. My previously simple life got suddenly very complicated. I was taken from my home, and now I have to live in a world where no one speaks Latin, no one prays to my gods, and no one knows what the heck garum is. Before, I thought I had all the answers, but now only questions remain. Will I survive? Will I find my way back home? Will I ever be able to get the savage bastards living here to adopt the great accomplishments of Roman civilisation? Not even the gods know the answers. One thing is for sure: should I ever get home again; I will never set a foot outside of my estate without a healthy stockpile of garum. The cover is from Peter Paul Rubens' "The Death of Publius Decius Mus" This webnovel is partially based on a DnD campaign where a party of three players played the adventures The Sunless Citadel, The Forge of Fury and The Witches of Westwater.

I enter my brother's room to find it wrecked and his favorite bunny into shreads. A gasp leaves my lips when I look at the mirror to find a note all in red. ' I have shane. If you want him to be safe and not into pieces surrender yourself to me. -your loving father and master. ' "Grey! he has Shane! we have to do something! " I say " I know! let me think what to do!" he growled back. " Hey, I have a plan. Do you trust me? " he asked. I was taken aback by his question. Sure he always saved me but.. did I really trust him? Wasn't he just my imagination? " Do you trust me Blaze?" he asked again, softening his tone. No he wasn't my imagination. He is here to protect me, he was always there. " I do" I say softly. " OK then I have a plan. Don't worry we will get him back" he says. I could almost feel the mischievous plans he was devicing. _________________________________________
