Not even Mother can keep me out! You are billions of years too young to shut me out!

So! The last time I was here and my nerdy sister was not I spoke, wrote? About my fiery sister, she is actually pretty active and has a lot of contacs with the mortals.

She even made a fan group of sort. She made a God or twenty, obviously fire oriented, and the pyromaniac followers conquered a side of the Plane of Creation!

They made this big fiery empire, she really wanted to show how strong and important fire could be... Until I rained on her parade...

What? Fire can evaporate water but cannot destroy it. Water will rain down its vengeance later and the fire will bow down and die. It's how the rules work!

Take it to Life or maybe Death... Totally not my fault!

Ok, ok maybe the first time was not my fault but the others were. It's just so fun, see her work super hard. Make something and with fire to booth! A little sprinkle is just enought to destroy all her machinations.

She once raged so much that she fled to the First Tree, the Overgod venerated by the elves, well most elves do venerate it and live within his body. Its foliage is special, it can protect anyone hiding within from the outside eye. Only... her blazing tears might have burned it down and killed it. Had to make it rain so much, her tears were so hot that they ignited my water. Had to use the water from the Pond of Life, actually this is really funny. I turned the verdant world into a water world and the incinerated elves (yes, they died! Their fucking treehouse got burned to the ground, what did you thing would happen?) Well, they got brought back by the vitality present in the water... I made the Sea Elves! And Mother called me to congratulate me, Fate was estatic too! My crybaby sister never spoke to me again after that."

"How I made the faery of fire even more insecure"

Mira was angry, she was furious, really really mad. Little Wolf did not do it on purpose, he was drawing! He was writing actually, he did not draw for years. He never knew how much he missed it! He loved to use sticks and draw things in the mud with the other children, then he grew up and needed to do grown up stuff and he stopped drawing. So when he started drawing writing today, he was really energetic and he wasted probably weeks of meditation and energy accumulation. He did not think that jumping to take far away branches and make sticks was so tiring, he even ate the sticks when he was done drawing on them.

She was so angry that she almost hit him. That would have been bad, he might have lost even more energy so, she reined all her rage inside herself and left, again. She thought that nothing could anger her more than the Gods that toyed with her. Then she understood after the water faery shut her down, she was not angry at the Gods, she was not even angry at the faery. She was angry at herself, she felt impotent and she was angry about it. Oh, how she would make them pay, even if she is impotent now she wont be forever and she had to make them pay for letting her feel that way. She thought that the training with Awe was over, apparently the watery faery thought it was not enough and she needed to wait, wait for him to grow more hearts so she could teach him moves that were more intensive. Not physically, his physique is better than her own. The problem is the mind, he does not have enough hearts to follow what she needs to teach him.

She made a stack of bark with her powers to use as writing boards, if she could not stop him... she could make him spend less energy at least. As she left Little Wolf saw her face morph, she had the hungry smile! Like the one she gave to his father that time when he asked for her intervenction.

That same night she took his father away from the fort, she brought him inside the forest and made a barrier of elemental spirits, even the powerful senses of Little Wolf could not cut trough. But Safe could, easily too. So he, with the help of his Angel's Mind, watched what happened that night and it was bloody. Mira unleashed her frustrations on Sidon, she hit him over and over and when he was almost dead she would heal him. The First Hunter fought back fiercely but it was not enough, he used his new spear and even the Demonic Blood but Mira was relentless. When the sun came up and bathed his golden light onto the fort the two of them appeared back inside, Mira went to the barracks to torment the soldiers while Sidon retired himself with Fianna. To heal his broken self-esteem, he was trashed and could not hit back once but, in a single night he got much better at controlling his Demonic enhanced strenght.

Little Wolf watched her step away from the caravan and into the forest, his right eye shone golden and Safe helped him track her down. After ten deceptively long steps she was no longer in sight, she then pushed her foot down even harder and just disappeared, Safe followed her anyways and Little Wolf could see Mira in a new place, there was sand everywhere and the sun was just rising. Near her a city came into view, it was shining golden in the morning sun. The city wall looked bigger than anything he ever saw (and he saw only the village's and the fort's wall but the city wall was big, big BIG.)

Little Wolf continued to write for three days, the caravan followed the road to the capital smoothly. He just had to point to a direction and say how far the food was and Tom and his men would start running this way or that way. The nights were quiet and the soldiers snored away.

Tom was actually a strange man, he ate the heart of every kill he took. John told Little Wolf that Tom thinks that eating the hearts of his kills makes him stronger. It's a family thing, apparently they came from the north, they followed king Arthus when he made peace with the bull riders. They followed him because of his strenght, one of Tom's ancestors fought in righteous duel one of the sons of Arthus and won. Little Wolf did not know what 'righteous duel' meant but John that was a little suspicious of Little Wolf in these days of knowing him better was becoming friendlier and friendlier, Little Wolf liked him, he knew a lot and he taught him how to draw like an adult!

"A righteous duel is the antithesis of the law. When two or more people of the Arthus Kingdom find that the law does not bring them the justice they deserve, they can ask for a righteous duel. If both the party asking for justice and the wrongdoer, or at least the accused of wrongdoing, if both parties accept they can choose a single fighter to fight to the death, the winner is right. It's a barbaric act, rubble of the past where strenght was everything."

"But isn't that right?" Asked Little Wolf, "if you are not strong you cannot ask for justice, or right. The strong decides who and what is right."

"You are both right and wrong, the strong is us, the kingdom, we make the law. We protect the weak and give justice where is necessary to do so. The righteous duel is wrong because the law does not apply, the righteous is the strong even if he is in the wrong."

"If he is in the wrong and the kingdom is strong why not ask for a righteous duel? So you can just kill him."

"We cant just ask for righteous duels, the opposition can just refuse. The righteous duel works only if there is no other way."

Little Wolf shrugged, "if the one that think he is strong refuses it means he is not strong, so you just kill him."

"Don't even joke about it, killing is againist the law."

"The law is boring."

"The law is justice. It might be boring but it's the shield that protect the weak."

"No, the shield that protects the weak is the strong and the threat of punishment, in the village it works like that. If you do something wrong you pay for it."

The discussion lasted for most of the day and evening, poor Tom and his ancestors forgotten. When the sun left the moon was not there, the darkness reined supreme. The fires of the camp tried to keep the night at bay but only drew long shadows.

"Hey John, I wanted to tell you something but that law and justice thing distracted me."

"What did you want to tell me?"

"There was a man up in the trees a little way back..."

"WHAT!?"

"There was a man up in the trees a little way back!"

"I heard you the first time! Why did you not tell me about it!? It's the sort of important things that I needed scouts for!"

"Because the talk about law and justice distracted me! I told you already, are you really listening?"

"How far back was he? Where is he now?"

"Oh, it was probably after lunch? And he is close, he followed us. You don't need to worry I never lost him."

"What is he doing? Me-"

Little Wolf put a hand to John's mouth shutting him up, "shhh, or it will be for nothing." He smiled, "he called his friend and now we are surrounded, I'm a little sad too."

"Surrounded? How many are they, are they already in position? TELL. ME. EVERYTHING!"

"Meh, we are fourty one and they are just above one hundred, from the heart beats one hundred and FIVE, I'm so SAD... there are not enought men for me to PLAY WITH." He told John with a cheeky smile and a little purr.

His smile grew and John for the first time saw Little Wolf open his eyes. Maybe it was because both kept their back to the fire as to not be blinded but the eyes of Little Wolf shone a blood red light, the night was dispelled by a red light, only for a moment the sun shone, then the moon veiled over it. Only the blood red sky was left , a little bit of light made the dark moon even more oppressive. John found himself brought back from his daydream by a blood curdling scream. John was trembling, his voice lost by the cold he felt all over his body, he stood up and looked around. His men were alert and stood back to back, they were waiting by the fire, no one looked at him but he knew they were waiting his comands, his orders. Little Wolf was nowere to be found, the forest was a flurry of movement and screams.
