"There are many beings that are more powerful or more effective but, there are humanoids in almost every World and Plane.

Why? Because humanoids have hands! I mean... They have the ability to hold things, mold them, make something new, use that new thing to get an advantage.

Fate knew that, both Life and the Faery Queen are made as humanoids.

Mira got tired of Awe's talking with himself.

"So Awe- "LITTLE WOLF!" - Yeah, whatever. I will teach you how to fight but, I need your help. I tried to analyze your body before, to find the best way to train you. With you being a Demon, that I know nothing about, and the fact that you ate the Elemental Spirits that I sent into you. I need to know how you work to teach you how to survive."

Said Mira.

"I don't really know how Demons work..."

Said Little Wolf.

"But I do. Demons are made entirely of Demonic energy. The skin and the hearts are made of crystalized Demonic energy. The rest of the body is empty, to be filled with Demonic energy. That energy can be gaseous or liquid. Both the skin and the hearts will be repaired istantly when hit, the liquid Demonic energy will be used first then the gaseous one will be used. A Demon won't be hurt unless it has no more Demonic energy. Any action that a Demon makes burns some Demonic energy, the more Demonic energy used to accomplish said action the more powerful it will be, faster, stronger, you can immagine. Demon's Hearts are the most important thing for a Demon's body. They act as Demonic energy generators and as brains. The more hearts you call to complete a task the better it will be fulfilled."

Safe explained.

"Ok, so how many Demon's Hearts do you have and, how much times does it take to generate a new one?"

Asked Mira, she is shaking slightly.

"In this moment inside Awe's- "LITTLE WOLF!"- body there are three Demon's Hearts, to make one we need to accumulate enough Demonic energy to coalesce it into a new heart. Without external help it takes one."

Safe explained.

"One?"

"One day for the first one, then one week, one month, a year, a decade, a millennium... One."

Safe explained matter of factly.

"So you got three and, it will take a year to get one more..." Said Mira. "Just out of curiosity, how many Demon's Hearts did Joy have when we left?"

"Well... She did eat some powerful energy being and generated some extra Demon's Hearts..."

"How many?"

"She made almost five hundred Demon's Hearts when she sent me inside Awe's -"LITTLE WOLF!"- body."

"Five hundred!?" Exclaimed Mira surprised. "Well it matters not, you Little Wolf-"FINALLY!"- are what I tried to be when I was the gladiator and I always failed that. You are a pure energy being, if you can control how to move your energy!" Mira shivered a little from the excitement. "You can move your body as you like! You could hold so much more kinetic energy than what a fleshy body could!"

"There is a problem, Demon's bodies can contain only Demonic energy, any other form of energy will be eaten. As an Angel's mind connected to a Demon's Heart I can use Demonic energy to create miracles but, if I want to use the power of the believers, I need to summon it on the outside."

Safe made a wing of light appear form the right eye of Little Wolf and pointed at it as if to say 'like so'.

"Oh, It won't be a problem." Mira grinned, her smile was almost as scary as the ones that Fianna threw in the past. "In the past I begged the Elemental Spirits for help and they did." Mira opened her arms wide and little lights coaleshed around her form. "These little childs can be really helpful but they are not me, they are not mine, if something gets their attenction... I would lose their help, lose their power, lose my power." She did a shooing gesture and the lights disappeared. "So, I found another way. A power that is mine to use, mine to control! Kinetic energy is made when something moves, the speed, the weight, their power. I learnt how to control it, how to move as I like, how to stop them from moving or accelerate it if needed. Sadly I'm not the Gladiator anymore, this body is not as used to the kinetic energy as my previous one or I could do some really cool stuff with it."

Mira stood still with a hand to her chin, watching Little Wolf while thinking.

"Ok, I decided!" She exclaimed hitting her punch on the palm of the other hand. "You will need training, experience and control. A year is too much for a fourth Demon's Heart. So, I will teach you everything that you can learn with three hearts, when you hit your limit, hopefully we can get out of here, we will go hunting for things to eat and give you a boost in Demonic energy!"

Mira explained, then she turned towards the silent adoptive partents.

"Are you two okey? From simple villagers... to be exposed to the Plane of the Creation, it can be overwhelming..."

Sidon just smiled and shrugged.

"Little Wolf is our son, as the parents we need to guide him towards his best future. If it's him becoming the First Hunter inside out village or him being the strongest being of this Plane... Thingy, I don't really care." Fianna smiled. "I just want him to be happy with what he does. I just wish Sidon and me could follow him a little longer and support him a little longer."

Fianna smile turned a little sad.

"The adoptive father will grow in strength, the Demonic energy inside him will give him the power he needs." Safe said. "As for you, you will be left behind. Unless..."

"Anything!"

Safe did not let Fianna say more, he moved. Mira felt him move but, Little Wolf was just too fast when he expended enough Demonic energy. Unless she was prepared for it, even if her essence felt the movement, her body, her mind was not fast enough to react.

Safe, within Little Wolf's body stabbed his hand inside Fianna's chest, right through her heart.
