《The Coin of Fate》Chapter 43 training montage

"A Plane is a pretty fun construct, it has a beginning and an end. That's about it, a Plane can be anything and everything. It can be made as a box or as a pyramid, or any other form, it cannot be a circle though, a Plane needs a beginning and an end. You can make a Plane as big as you like or as small as you need it. You can put any rule you want and it will obey them. Planes for us faery are the worst for us faery. They can be really fun or totally boring and useless."
-Bee May, the faery of knowledge
"Is it a super man? Is it a bird? Nah, It's just a boring Plane..."
The sense of time was lost inside the domain of the faery of water. With no day and night cycles. The clearing was always the same, if damaged it would repair itself. Nothing ever changed inside the Pond of Life.
Sidon and Mira trained a lot.
Sidon had to learn how to use his new strenght and he needed to control his Demonic energy. He could get eaten from the inside if he was not careful, the Pond of Life was the perfect place to train, the waters would heal anything less than death itself.
Mira would never admit it but she never fought after she left the Arena, the Faery Castle was peaceful and she was only an Essence without a body. When she finally obtained a body and became Mira, she had to adjust to a new body, had to relearn how to 'talk' with the Elemental Spirits and how to feel the invisible energies like the kinetic one. While she was roaming the World as a mercenary she did not really need to use all of her strenght so she was rusty. When she became an adult, she had to relearn how her body worked. She did it in secret and she was sure that both Fianna and Sidon did not notice it. Fighting Sidon, teaching him how to survive from himself, gave her the excuse she needed to fix her own control problems.

Fianna could only watch while Sidon and Mira trained, when Sidon was resting Mira did spend some time teaching her how to fight fist to fist. When tired of training, the three of them sat in a circle on the grass and talked about their past, mostly Sidon and Fianna, or planned for a future filled with uncertainties.
Sidon made huge progress in little time, probably. His istincts are monstrous when it comes to fighting, after every bout he would get better and better. He could control his body and his Demonic energy already while in a normal fight, only when Mira pushed him hard enough his Demonic energy would go out of control. But, no human could make him go all out, his strenght, speed and stamina were exceptional.
After a long time Sidon convinced Mira to make him a spear, he could hold his own in a melee but the spear is what he felt could make him show his fightning prowess the best. Mira used the Earth Elemental Spirits of the clearing, she took dirt, turned it into metal then, compressed it to make it stronger. Sidon guided her in the process so he could have a new First Hunter's spear, the best he could have, with the perfect weight for him. While the two battle junkies worked on the perfect spear, Fianna noticed that the water from the Pond of Life froze over, then it started to boil. She tried to call the fact to attention but the two were so absorbed in their work they could not even hear her. When the two were certain they made the pefect spear, the Pond shone bright red, the water surged, formed a giant watery fist that shone of an ominous dark red light and punched Mira into the ground. Only her feet could be seen, both Sidon and Fianna looked at the watery hand allarmed but stood still. They did not know what to do about what was happening!

The earth exploded and Mira rose from the hole fuming and, she met an ominous dark red watery fist to the face. She ended up inside the hole again, making a bigger one this time. The only difference was that her head was outside this time, the fist opened. A finger pointed towards Mira's head then, it did a spin around showing her the mess that the clearing had become, most of the damage caused by the fist itself, then it pointed to Mira again.
Mira obbediently got out of the hole, the hand was back into a fist and was hovering menacingly around her. Mira then proceded to fix the clearing, moving earth around and when there was not enough she would create more from thin air. When the clearing was back to its pristine self, the fist nodded? And got back into the pond.
"WHAT WAS THAT!?"
Askreamed Fianna.
"Oh, nothing much, the water faery was being a little b-"
Mira started to talk but from the pond a water jet silenced her.
"Where are we?" Asked Little Wolf confused. "Why are we at the pond? Mom, dad? And, who are you?"
Sidon and Fianna forgot all about the strangeness of the place they lived in and rushed towards their son, embracing him.
Little Wolf's left eye was the same, blood red iris with a golden ring that divided the iris from the dark void that was his pupil. His right eye instead, had a blood red ring on the edge of his golden iris.
Finally, you have completed three Demon Hearts. Each Demon Heart's beat gives you more Demonic energy but, they give you another mind to work with too. As of right now one heart is housing your mind, another one is housing me, the third one will be devoted to your istincts. I can finally teach you how to become Awe. When you will be worthy of your name, we will be able to meet Joy again!
