《World of Six Civilizations》Chapter 51 - New Homes

"Take the slave; we're leaving here quickly!"
The beautiful-faced youth started to walk away from the front of the exhibition with quick steps after shouting, showing the big orc to his guards.
"Come here, asshole, or I'll drag you away!"
When the bodyguard was hung up on the chains with ambition, he aimed to knock Alyon to the ground, batter him a little, and win the favor of his boss. Considering the atmosphere created, his plan was perfect, but there was a point he missed. No matter how much he hung, the orc at the end of the chain did not move a single step.
Epiphanes was enraged when he saw that the bodyguards behind him did not bring the prisoner after him.
"You are bringing the orc here, or your head will stay here with him!"
When the bodyguards, who started to sweat, hugged the chain together, they looked at each other in disbelief. Even if they pulled with all their strength, they could not make the big orc take a single step. In desperation, they pulled back the pressure on the chain, and a miracle happened for them.
Alyon understood that people were slaves, even without collars, and began to walk after them with calm steps. After watching what was going on, Marcos enjoyed the moment for a short while, then left the area and headed towards the customs gate that belonged to him.
"Hello, orc! We must go now!"
When Eftelya called out to Nafız with her enchanting voice, the orcs carrying the litter moved to change their course. Nafız, who was surprised by Alyon's moves, was startled by the call of the transport orcs.
"Follow us! The little lady wants to go home; we cannot wait for your pleasure!"
"Walking milkman's horse. Are these troughs because they didn't saddle on your back!
Nafız was not a person who was short of words. The orcs flushed with anger, but laughter came from inside the veiled box.
"This is the first time I've heard such words. Judging from your previous moves, it looks like we're going to have a good time with you!"

When the group followed by Nafız passed the rest of the way in silence and came to the front of the mansion inside the high walls, Alyon entered through the gate of the Augustus gladiator school.
The large orc that had come through the door under the gaze of the heavily armored soldiers on guard would add to the dust, attracting the attention of the others engaged in a practice fight.
"A new loser has arrived? How long will this last?"
''Hahaha! The previous one had made it to gold out of fear. Isn't he an Orc? He would die before he could see the first battle!"
Although the words of the crowded training in the garden of the gladiator school were full of arrogance and contempt, it was clear that they were speaking the truth. The role assigned to the orcs for the arena fights was to be fat calves that the main boy would slaughter.
What could the orcs, who had reached adulthood on the way due to the cruel methods of the orc tribe, at this table of wolves, where they were holding swords for the first time?
"A bunch of soft, fighting games! Are they paying to watch these?"
Alyon couldn't help but respond to the provocations. He called out loud for all to hear, to the guard pulling the chain around his neck.
"Look, I hope your hand is doing as much work as your chin?"
When Alyon heard the voice of a man who was at least a head taller than other people but with many scars on his body, Alyon turned and looked in that direction.
"Instructor Morrison!"
The gladiators, who had interrupted their work to deal with the new orc, raised their hands to their chests and bowed at the sight of this person.
"Close the dungeon. Let's see how long it can last!"
The dungeon where the instructor sent Alyon was punishment for those who caused trouble at school. Hearing this, the other gladiators smirked; while the guards set off to take the burly orc to the place order. Entering through a small door opening towards the underground, Alyon followed the guard's steps walking in front of him.

Having finished the stairs and set foot on the floor, the group descended to an area where opposite cells were located. Surrounded by purple alloy iron bars, the cells were where gladiators could stay out of training and combat.
Alyon's gaze changed in an instant when the door to his accommodation appeared at the end of a long corridor. The outside, which has half its height, was covered entirely with stone, except for the door.
"Thank you for what you did on the market; you saved our lives. This place, whose height is as high as the door you will enter, is torture even for a normal person; it will be hell for you!"
The words of the bodyguard, who was trying to knock him down by hanging on his chain, plunged the giant orc's thoughts into the gloom. After a short silence, when the door was opened with a tearful voice, Alyon turned to the guards and said, "When will they have me fight first?"
"Next competitions are three days later. Until then, keep your mind to yourself!"
Alyon was already muttering, lying on his back in the dungeon he had entered, almost crouching.
"Just three days, do you think you can intimidate me with this?"
While her friend Alyon was going through hard times when he was bought after a simple bargain, Nafız was very comfortable in her new home after the events that turned into a duel of two noble families.
She was the only aide to her in the grand mansion, which she entered with the young lady of the house. Using this intimacy, she achieved a secret that many people don't know about. Despite her delicate beauty and charming voice, Eftelya was a very sick girl.
The young girl, who lost her mother during childbirth, had occasional bouts of pressing pain and could not control her lower back. Nafız, who initially approached the girl with a feeling of pity, could not help admiring her day by day.
Her father sealed his heart after her mother's death, taking care of only his daughter, taking whatever she wanted, and doing whatever she wanted. Despite this, the little girl managed to grow up without compromising her kind and compassionate character.
"Nafız, how is the outside world? How do people live outside this city?"
Eftelya, who was constantly walking around with two bodyguards, called out to the female orc, who had to walk five steps away.
“Miss, I am an ignorant orc. I can only describe the tribe I was born in!"
"Well, you're the smartest orc I've ever seen. That's why I couldn't leave you in the hands of that tyrant!"
Nafız did not want to reveal herself immediately where she lived on her third day. She had no choice but to evasive answers to the young girl's questions.
"You know, there are fights in the arena today. The orc I thought was your friend will also fight there today. Unfortunately, there were no more survivors than the orcs who made it to the arena!"
Nafız, pretending to be surprised by what she heard, replied to Eftelya in panic.
"Miss, that orc is the one I love. According to what you say, he will die today. Would I be going too far if I wanted to see him for the last time?"
As the soft heart of the young girl narrowed because of Nafız's sad face and what she said, her breathing became more frequent.
"Get my litter ready at once. I want to be in the arena before the fights start!"

Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
