POV Hoshi

Esmond and I are at MID training grounds we have been here for hours and he has improved a lot but I'm going easy in him but he needs to learn to trust his instincts that why I'm playing tag with him. As I follow his scent I hear him in the bushes to my left. I turned I jumped at him but he rolled out of the way like it was natural for him to do. I go right through the bushes as I land I see a woman there looking at me when Esmond comes out "hey what's up why'd you stop?" We have a visitor as I l" it's my mom what is she doing here?"

I see she look an Esmond with hatred in her eyes as I feel magic building around her and I was directed at Esmond I bark at him Esmond move she's... but I did not get a chance to finish as he flys through the air towards a tree that had it bark form spikes. As I see him heading for it he moves his tail and rolls out of the way and jumps off the tree and lands on the ground "did you see what I just did" then he went silent as rock spikes impaled him as the ground reseed he falls into his pool of blood for what seemed like forever I'm frozen in place. How could this happen we had a month this was not supposed to happen he was my only way back to lady Boido as it feels like my heart was ripped from my chest.

I turn to Esmond's mother as I prepare to attack growling and snarling my need to kill her was building how dare she takes him away from me. "Well that was very disappointing he barely put up a fight I hope you won't disappoint me." I look at her as she smiles. "Did I just kill your boyfriend, haha well he was not going to last long anyway." That made me snap I ran at her making illusion of myself as I produced foxfire any illusion did the same. "You think that will work on me how pathetic." As she cast a spell that makes the earth shock wave my illusion and me jump up as I get hit with rock my illusion dispels and I fall to the ground.

"Nice try but I see through your illusion its common knowledge I ever coven a kitsune illusion follow the original one do you have anything else or should I just kill you now?" As she looks down at me as I explode as she flys back on her ass how was that for you dumb witch they teach you that in the coven. "You filthy little beast when I find you I'm going make you into a rug for my house." Well, you have to find me, first witch.

She then put her hand on the ground as a branch of a tree hitting me hard enough to throw me into the clearing. A little was from her "gotcha now you little bitch." As we glare at each other we both look over to the left to see the body was gone and there was an aura that froze us in place as the feeling of dread and doom started to grow.

Without me even noticing I was pinned to a tree by a clawed hand but what was attached to it was a shadow-like thing of pure black flames as it brought its face to mine and nozzles me and licks my face as I let me go. As I slide down the tree an emotion of fear and trust grow but the was another emotion I have not felt since I was young. It leaves me there as I watch the battle from my seated position. I could not see most of the fight but when the creature started to walk towards Mrs.Morrow I ran out in front of it you need to stop I barked at him he just moved around me.

As it looms over her it raises a clawed hand and the drops as I shift into a small fox. As I shift a little bit to pick it up I feel magic all around us when humans appear "you have broken the rules what do you have to say for yourselves." I look at the man with confusion then Mrs.morrow said: "I did not it was the kitsunes over there." "I'm sorry but the magic the was use in the killing blow came from you." "Well as you can see we are alive." "Well I dose look that way but if these two want to press charges" as she looks at me their sadness in her eyes I thought for a moment I said in a growly voice "no I think she learned her lesson" as I see hope return in her eyes "well till we get this mess sorted I would like you all to come with me to the holding area."

As we are escorted to holding area I'm carrying Esmond as we head into a room with couches and vending machines. As I sit down she sits across from me "why did you let me off the hook?" Hook I don't have a hook "sorry I forgot you and new to this would. We have something to tell you but I'll wait till he wakes up.

The next thing I know the kitsune disappears from my vision but where she was standing was a small black flame.

As I was looking at the flame it was a large creature covered in black flames it looks like a werewolf but it was hard to look at it. It seems the light did not reflect off of it and it did not cast a shadow it was almost like it was there but not there. It stands there looking at me it then vanished I realized it was behind me as a fist slammed into my back as my body flies into the bushes the pain in my back was enormous I don't think anything is broken.

As I try to get up a clawed hand grabs me and picks me up to stare into its eyes as I looked it was crying but it had no emotion in its eyes. I look at me for a moment then threw me into the clearing as I landed I cast a spell to throw a stone spike at it but the minute it touched its body it vanished as I looked at it with fear as there nothing I could do to stop it I have used you almost all my magic just from getting fatally wounded which has tried a few times already.

It slowly walks toward me as it got closer the kitsune ran out in front of me and started barking at it the creature just ignored it and came at me it reached down to grab me when it just stopped. I look in its eyes as they roll back it drops to the ground as it shrinks into a small fox as it lays on the ground in front of me breathing softly.

As the kitsune comes over it shifts a little bit so it can pick it up as it holds it I feel magic all around us as people transported around us as "you have broken the rules what do you have to say for yourselves." I did not it was the kitsunes over there. "I'm sorry but the magic the was use in the killing blow came from you." Well as you can see we are alive.

It has two couches and vending machines as the kitsune walked over to the couch and sits down I sit across from them why did you let me off the hook? "Hook I don't have a hook" sorry I forgot you are new to this world. "we have something tell you but I'll wait till he wakes up." I was thinking about why I should even listen to her but she did save me so I owe her that much.
