POV Iris Morrow
As I hung up the phone with my husband I was still pissed off how could a kitsune of all creatures move to my town. As I turn to one of my coven members was I too loud I'm sorry "no it's alright but that suck to have a kitsune in town how are you going to deal with it?" I don't know but off the top of my head, I want to make sure my family stays far away from it. "That would be the smart thing to do but just don't forget the coven has your back.
I was thinking of what to do when the coven leader stands up "ladies and gentlemen I thank you for all the hard work you have done this month to keep the world's ley lines in order but as we come to an end I have good news another cover is coming early to take over so we got to go home in two days." As the crowd let out a loud cheer the leader raises a hand. "Now I know you are excited but we still have two days if any of you have anything to say to the coven now is the time." I look around but no one as I stood up I let out a sigh I have some new I wish to share with the coven.
"Oh, Iris this is a surprise there are not many problems you can solve." You honor me leader but it has come to my attention that a kitsune is in my home town and I fear more my come. "So a kitsune is in our territory without us knowing this is not good news." When the leader was done talking a young witch stood up "what is so bad about kitsunes?" The leader stood in silence for a moment "I forgot that the younger members do not know the hated we have for them this not a pleasant story but you all should know it."
"It was back in the dark ages when witches were hunted. A small portion of the witch community had been kill and others in hiding. As they were looking for safety they came across a group of kitsune practicing magic as they watched them they decided to ask for aid because all magic-user are supposed to help each other because that is how we all survive. At first, the kitsune did not trust them but once the group showed the kitsune they could use magic they came to trust each other. Life was good between the two races they shared magic secrets and kept each other safe."

"Leader if they had peace with them then why do we hate them now" I look over at the young witch when she was done interrupting her I was going to say something the but the leader continued the story. "They did have a peaceful relationship but one evening the barrier came down and the kitsune were gone then humans with weapons came and set fire to their home and killed their families as the survivors fled they found the kitsune hiding among the humans and since that day we have never trusted them again despite them pleading their innocent."
As I looked around the room the younger members looked sad. "Now don't let that story get you down. Now Iris." Yes, mama. "I know you want to rush home and keep your family safe but we do still have two days left but the coven could vote to let you go home early if you like?" That would be nice but it's not fair to everyone else to put my needs in front of the world. Then everyone started to stand I looked around as everyone looked at me "we of the coven vote to let Iris go home and aid her family." As tears appear in my I eyes I thank them the leader stands "Iris Morrow I hereby let you leave to aid your family and may you find victory in your fight."
As the meeting wrapped up I head to my room to start packing when someone knocked on my door as I open it the coven leader was standing there. "Iris I know you are packing but I have something important information to tell you." As the leader shouldn't you hold a meeting with the coven if it's important. "I'm holding one tomorrow before we all leave but I'm tell you now." What is it you look a little excited? "I have it on good authority that the gods have put a challenge out to everyone. It appears that an eight tailed fox summoned a human improperly and turned it into a monster and if you can kill it before the end of the year the gods will grant you a wish."
Well, that is very interesting news if we can kill it just think about what we can do with a wish from the gods. "The coven will be stronger with a wish from the gods in our back pocket. At the meeting, I'm going to have every member on the lookout for this thing." So what does it look like? "From what they have told us it looks like a werewolf but with fox ears it a lot slimmer with less muscle mass and the fur is black and white that's all they told us.

That's not a lot to go on but its better than nothing. "I guess they want to have a good show." Well not only do I have a kitsune to keep an eye out for but now I have to find this thing too. "Well, I wish you luck and a safe trip home." Thank you, leader you as well. As she leaves I start to activate the transport spell with a flash of light I disappeared.
When the light fades I'm standing in the living room of my house it was dark and lonely I guess no one was home. I went upstairs but as I pass the guest room I feel a residual magic aura coming from the room as I look inside. When I went in it had an odd smell to it but I guess it was just her perfume. As I left the room I head upstairs to put my clothes in my room someone came home. As I come out of my room the dog comes running up to me.
As I pick it up I head back downstairs to see my husband. "Honey your home early how was your trip?" It was nice but I have some information it appears there a new creature and the gods have the challenge to kill it and if you do you get a wish from them. "I think I know what you are looking for I think it's the monster called a werefox it was registered just two days ago." Well, that's good to know it's here now I have to find it by the way where is Esmond and this Hoshi? "I sent them to the northwest corner of the pine park they still have not told me anything." That's ok they will tell us in time but I'm going to see them. "Well if you see them give Esmond my love." I will as I head to the park.
Once you get to the park at the northwest corner is a small building as I walk up to it I had to show my monster brand to gain access to the training ground. Once I was in I went to the counter and ask if there was an Esmond Morrow he was wearing a necklace he would have come in about three hour age the woman behind the counter shock her head "I'm sorry mama but I don't know I just got here but you can check around the grounds. As I thank her I went to the ground as I walk out I see it has not changed a bit since the last time I was here as I feel a large aura coming from the forest as I walk toward the forest I sense Magic coming from the as a fox with five tails jump out of the bushes after I moment it's followed by one with one tail barking at her as they stopped and look at me and barking at each other as I feel my anger build I cast a spell at the one tails as the other one bark at it but it was to slow.
The fox was thrown into the air at a tree as it flew I cast another spell turned tree bark spikes but the fox rotates in the middle of the air and jumps off the tree and lands on the grounds and barks at the other one as earth spires shoot out of the ground impaling it as blood covers the ground the five tailed fox looks on I disbelief as the earth recedes the body lays motionless in a pool of its blood with a blank look on its face.

8 168Life in the New World
On the Hiatus: I began writing this novel when I was, in all honesty, very bad at writing. I hope to revisit creative writing in the near future and I plan to, at some point in time, revisit this. I am flattered that many people have taken the time to read this story, but it is not what I intend to start with, as it will likely need a hard rewrite in order to correct many of the more glaring issues it has. Join our hero and follow his exciting adventure through a newly changed world! WARNING their will be violence, profanity,, and gore in this fiction. if any of these make you uncomfortable this is not a story for you turn around and walk away now!!!

Leaving a trail of blood as he climbed up a hill, his limbs felt like lead. He was gasping too, his lungs burning with every step he took. It felt like a bundle of broken glass was scraping away the inner walls of his flesh. He was dying, obvious to both him and his pursuers. And it would not be long till he dropped dead as he bled away. If not, the people chasing him would surely finished what they had came for. It was as if the Gods themselves had already predestined his fate. He took one step forward and stood at the peak of the hill. He let his legs rest as he could barely go on. Heaving deep breaths, he could hear sneering voices and shouts behind him. They were close, and the grim realization stoked the embers of his most primal fear. He did not want to die. He had dreams, like any other youth. There was glory to be had in this world. He wanted to learn more of life, and lived through its motions. He wanted to live. He swept his gaze, and across him was a spanning forest of old. With a glint in his eyes, and jaws clenched, he decided to gamble with all he had. His eyes swept about the trees, and he could feel an instinctual urge to drag himself away. He knew what this forest was, and here, he would find his salvation. Or his doom. The voices behind him grew closer, and among the noise was the faint clanging of steel. Gritting his teeth, he ousted all the will he had from the depths of his soul and stepped forth into the forest. Damned he be by the Gods if they wanted him dead. -new synopsis 10/6/2016 ---------- A new chapter would be released every friday. And the quality of writing should improve each time, hopefully. Another important thing to mention is how the story as of now, is only a bedrock for a massive world if it ever gets there.
