“Deus be careful that monster is behind you,” shout Liza. Because the warning from Liza I’m able to dodge an attack from [Brave Lion] and only receive a few of minor wound, this little bastard keeps on charging like crazy after being affected by my poison attack. My plan is to drag the battle or create some distance first and let it be weakened by the poison but because this lion also has a ranged attack and magic not to mention the resistant it has against the poison, I can’t let this battle be a drag for too long. I need to finish this fight fast I could before Liza and Mia loss all their MP. That lion keeps the pressure on my side with its ferocious attack style, even I can help but to take damage from that kind of attacks.

My body is full of wound and scar because receive such strong attack, even with the defence I got and my skill is evolving the stats it has is beyond the limitation, I told Liza to keep conserve her Mp and only cast heal when I near die or receive heavy blow from [Brave Lion] attack. Because of the effect of my poison, the movement from that beast has become slower yet it not even show any sign to give up. But during the battle, I notice this monster has been saving its MP, maybe it will use its special skill any moment now. [Fire Lance], Mia has make her move because can’t wait any longer to see that lion makes its move, but it was a foolish action because now [Brave Lion] attention has been focusing on Mia, Its dash toward Mia with high speed and me at the other hand try to block it movement but has been avoiding by it using jump up from my head and slam it body directly to Mia.

Seeing Mia be sent flying and vomit blood, Liza quickly heal Mia wound “please hold that monster for a moment” ask Liza, I scream to my heart content and continues my attack to that lion, few changes of blow between me and that [Brave Lion] suddenly it body start to change in colour “Here it comes, that special skill”. That lion opens its mouth and together with it, a large size of the [Flame Ball] appears floating in front of that monster, based on the situation it seems that this guy wants to end this fight with this attack. My first plan is to avoid that spell but after I check my escape route it seems that my position and Liza position is in a single line, while Liza can’t move because she gives treatment to Mia, I at the other hand don’t have a choice but to directly take that magic attack.

[Protection] [Restore] [Protection]

Liza give me support with her spell, I know she notices the situation we in so our last hope is I can take that attack and live, “here it comes, Deus please don’t die on us” shout Liza again, the magic attack from that monster has reached my position the only thing I can do is brave for the impact “Please, grant me strength” I beg to goddess even though I hate them. After the impact, my body is totally burned down; I lose one of my legs and my eyes. Liza trying to help me, but I give a sound that show I don’t need her help, “but why that cat doesn’t come and finish me off for good?” asking myself. While trying to look up for that stupid cat and the reasons for that is because of the poison and also the kickback from its special skill.

[Holy Roar – last option skill, boost the power but will consume large MP]

In this world once we run out of MP, our body will be weakened and can’t move until a certain amount of MP is restored, I can’t let this opportunity to be slip away while struggling to move my body, but why I cannot move. I can’t find any reason for that problem until I re-check that monster status again and see the main problem.

[A ferocious creature with high mana and also an intelligent beast, due to the title it has, its attack can cause paralysis to the enemy when the fight inside its territory.]

This is total cannot be accepted by me, we are close to winning this battle at least let me have my revenge on this cat. Watching me unable to move, that lion has been able to move and come close to me with its mouth open, it seems like this monster wants to eat me alive. I close my eyes and wait for my final moment until I hear the sound of burning, [Eruption], Mia surprise attack success and land a direct hit on that lion. Luck has be on my side because Liza finally able to heal Mia on time before I meet my maker, the monster fall in front of me so I take this chance to finish this off after I receive [Bless] from Liza, using my tail skill [Lance Stab] it directly piece through its heart and body, “that is the price for eating my tail, you nut head” after that attack, this monster has stop to move ever against.

Mia and Liza come near me, Liza cast [Heal] on me to help me out while Mia just sitting around and take a break after that battle. “How we end up the fight against this beast again?” I try to remember what happened 3 hours ago.

*3 hours ago*

As for today, we have decided to take a break from hunting because Liza and Mia want to celebrate their rank up ceremony with me, so as we all agree we go into the forest and find a nice spot for a picnic. Mia has bought several portions of meat and food from the local shop in the city, while Liza brings a homemade food from her house, after tasting Liza food I sure she also has the talent to be a good wife in the future. “I so jealous to think that Liza will be married to another guy in the future, I really hope that guy was me but hey I’m a lizard thank to certain goddess mistake” mumbling in my head, Mia is doing something behind Liza back and she takes out a bottle of wine and say “Let celebrate our day with this”. How can an underage girl buying an alcohol, this world is totally sick in law, “We can’t drink that water yet, not until we are 17 years old Mia” claim Liza and she takes the bottle of wine away from Mia's hand.

As for plan all we do is eating and playing all the time, after eating Mia ask Liza to join her swimming in the lake near our picnic side, “Come on Deus let join in” Mia ask me to join in too. Well if it swimming it one of lizard specialty you know, due to Mia suggestion we will have a swimming contest to see which one of us is the best swimmer and Liza will be the judge. Of course, the result can be predicted, I win with ease without having to broke a sweat against Mia, “why I cannot win” say, Mia, while crying on Liza's shoulder. “Well, Deus is lizard type monster, of course, he is better in term of swimming compare to human Mia” comfort Liza to Mia, she such a nice girl Liza is.

During this time I really hope that I can communicate with them like I communicate with Ordina, it is a nice feeling to having a good conversation with people. After both girls finish change their cloth we start having lunch together and then I notice there is something flying toward us in high speed, looking like it harmful to our group, I quickly push Mia and Liza away and avoid that thing. When the flying object touches the ground, it explodes and there is a hole in the ground, “it a magic attack be careful, something just attack us now” said Mia. Searching for the enemy, then I catch a glimpse of its shadow under the tree, give a sign to Mia about the location of the enemy, Mia sends a few of [Fireball] spell as a warning attack, the attacker jumps out and expose its true identity to us. After known who is the enemy our body starts to tremble because the enemy is none other than [Brave Lion] itself.

Knowing impossible to outrun this enemy we got no other option than to fight and live, the battle begins with an attack from that lion using [Roar] but by the help of Liza [Bless], that kind of attack doesn’t give us anymore problem. After that [Brave Lion] attack using its speed, but before it makes it’s a move, Mia bind it body with [Fire Chain]. Seeing the enemy can’t move I quickly use [Venom Spilt] on that lion, that attack just makes it angrier and break free from Mia bind. It shoots out several magic attacks and creates a smokescreen in surrounding area.

*Current Time*

Unlike normal monster, this lion has vanished into the air after it dies only leave a crystal with medium size and has the color of green. “What is this crystal, can we sold it into the market?” asked Mia, before her hand reach that thing I without thinking just eat that crystal because thinking it might taste good, but nothing that crystal taste nothing. Mia face turn into red and she begins to cast [Fireball] spell and attack me, well it not her fault anyways to be this kind of mad to me, but I hungry and the only food I can see is that crystal only. Liza trying to calm Mia feeling with the promise to treat her a dessert after reaching the town later on, “well it can’t help you must really hungry right, then I will forgive you this time” say, Mia. Liza has packed up the entire picnic item and reminds me to hide because they will report about the death of that lion to the adventure guild so investigation squads will come into this forest to checking the truth about their report.

Several weeks after the dead of [Death Forest] king, many adventurers come to investigate that case, of course, Mia and Liz help me to find a shelter to hind my existence from being found after everything seemed to calm down a little bit finally I can come out and start my hunting seasons back. But now I had a hard time to move around because many adventurers come and go into the forest after that ferocious beast is gone. “Should I start to move from this forest to another place, but where should I go and for what purpose to travel around the world, its just pain in the ass for me”.

Mia and Liza have been busy now because they have been treat like heroes who defeat the king of this forest, well that good for them too at least they achieve want they want to be a famous adventure in the city. As for me, I keep thinking on my future plan, what to do in this world and what is the purpose of my life, as for tonight I spend my night near the lake where we fight [Liar Monkey] and plan to sleep here because it far away from typical place adventurer to hunt. I do not notice when I fall asleep here but suddenly there is a strong light coming out from the lake and there is a beautiful looking woman standing in the middle of the lake, thinking that person might be an enemy I take my guard up for an incoming attack.

“Hehehe, don’t be afraid of me my dear child,” said the women. Why she calls me her child I’m a lizard while she is something that glowing it not make any senses here. “My name is Arten, the Ruler of Fairy. I have come to discuss something with you Deus” I was interested in what she wants to discuss with me so I take my place and listen to her story.

“Long ago there is a single demon which too much power and tend to harm the world, the sin it commits is to overboard and the goddess of this world can close their eyes more from this matter of fact, thus 500 years ago a single human has been summoning as a hero to save the world from that demon” said Arten. I was thinking this kind of plot just look the same with fantasy manga I read before coming here. “So what happens after that hero is summoned?” I ask eagerly to know, based on Arten story the hero manage to kill that demon but after demon is killed there are 4 crystals come out from his body, the first crystal is blue in colour, the second is red in colour, the third is black in colour and finally the fourth one is green in colour. Those 4 crystals float and disappear after that battle, the hero thinks there should be no problem and forget about those crystals, but after 50 years past there is a tales tell that one can obtain the power of demon if they manage to collect all 4 of crystals for their self.

“Please Deus, seek and destroy those four crystals before anyone else found it and misuse the power within it,” beg Arten. “Where I can find those crystals and if I did what is the benefit for me to help the world?” says me, “if you manage to destroy every piece of crystal that gone, I will fulfill one of your most desired wishes, I promise” claimed Arten. That is a good offer for me; I can ask her to send me back to my world, or become a human in this world, “Well, where I can find those crystals can you give me a direction at least”. I listen to Arten story for a full information and what I can say is, that 4 crystals have been seen crash in the 4 directions of this world north, east, west and south that not only the problem, Arten said that crystals, in order to protect itself, has changed into certain monster and rule over that place where it falls.

Based on Arten, the blue one has taken a form of dragon than being called as [Ocean Dragon], as for the red one it has being taken form of a bull that called as [Bullsaroz] and the black one as take a form of undead called as [Wraight Lich] and last but not least the green one, it takes a form of lion called as [Brave Lion]. Shocking with the truth of the story, it seems like I already destroyed one of those 4 crystals. “That why I come to you Deus, I know you have the power to destroy all four crystals and potential to grow stronger,” says Arten, I agree to help Arten and accept the mission given by her. After discussion and exchange of information, Arten disappears into the lake where she coming from.

*The next morning*

Before the sun rises, I quickly departure from the [Death Forest] to find the seconds crystals and destroy it’s for good. I start my travel without saying the world or tell Mia and Liza because I don’t want them to involve in such dangerous mission for my own good, well Mia maybe will mad at me but Liza can understand why I doing this to them. My journey in this world is still far from the end, I can’t wait to find what kind of place I will see and what kind of people I will meet, I hope they all kind as Ordina, Mia, and Liza. I take my step without turning back to what I left behind, “Someday I will return here and ask them to forgive me for what I did” said me.

“Just wait, I will make sure that I will destroy those crystals and claimed my price” and so I start my journey to save the world for my own sake.
