Today hunt is unlikely the same like before, why? Because now I got two young girls keep following me no matter where I go, it kinda pisses me off at the first but slowly I began to adapt to this kind of situation. They keep telling me, both of them wanted to repay for my help at the other day, I can’t even say a word because I’m a lizard monster so I just let them follow me for time being. Before now, I take a little peek at their stats and find out about them, based on the information they just low level in their class and still new as adventurer so they tend to make a mistake and disturb my hunt for today. My meal today decrease to half of the quota the main reason is because of the mage girl Mia, her and her loud voice lead to attracting monster attention and alert them when I almost near to kill it, not only that she also tends to cast her magic spell like crazy and what worse than that, her aim is totally off the target. I still remember when she almost fries me to death using her fireball spell.

“Liza, quickly come here I have discovered what we are looking for” shout Mia, Liza immediately goes toward Mia and check on the object Mia points out “yes it the same herb Mia, you found it.” Those two girls discussion attract my attention and I walk close to them as to see what the commotion is about, Liza notice when I try to peek at their conversation and ask me if I be familiar with a plant she and Mia gather, I shake my head to show I do not know what it is, “This herd can be used to make a potion, some monster tend to eat this plant in order to regain their health” Liza give explanation with smile on her face. “Hey, Liza why you talking to that monster, you see it can’t even understand what you say you know,” said Mia, listen to Mia word it feels like she bad mouths me so I decide to teach her a lesson to respect other, I swing my tail to tumble her down, Liza who just watching the event bust in laugh because she finds it funny.

Finish doing their quest for today, both of the girls come to a decision to return to town and called it as a day for them, as for me seeing them leave I choose to hunt more in order to grow stronger than before. The first monster I came across is a huge humanoid monster, its body color in green just like Goblin but the different trait is its only have one eye and has tusks poking out from its mouth. Without giving it change to attack, I took the first strike with my [Poison Spilt] and decide to let that skill do it work for me, I back off few steps creating distance from that monster, seeing me not interest in having close combat with it, that giant green monster decide to pluck out a tree and begin to throw it at me in case that attack will hit me, the monster keep repeating the same attack and finally the poison has kicked in and it falls on its kneel, notices the opportunity I quickly secure the gaps between us by jumping and directly bite it neck. The strength of this monster can't even be compared to Hob-Goblin, and it grips my tail, pulls me out from biting its neck and when my mouth being released from it neck he slams me to the ground. Luckily, the previous attack is the last thing it can do to me before it lost to my poison.

“It nice to know this creature is stupid enough, I do not have hard time to kill it but I would like to avoid direct battle especially during the nightfall”, but I happy since the [Analysis] has been evolving it shown me an extra information regarding to the target but the more important also include their feebleness, if I able to take advantage on that weakness all the fight I face will be piece of cake, not to be proud but I slowly become a strong lizard right now. The next morning when I woke up those two girls has come again to my place, but now their phizog looks like they have a big problem especially Liza, she is amateur in term of hiding her face. “Don’t be a coward Liza, I sure we can take that Hob-Goblin down if we cooperate and fight together,” said Mia, but Liza's face shows no trust in Mia word, how can they fight Hob-Goblin without any vanguard to tank. “Will you help us again? Please, we need your aid to complete this mission” begging Liza to me. When I saw Liza and Mia face I can’t send them to meet their end so I have agreed to help them in their quest, well for me it will benefit both sides they got their hunt done and I get to eat, so win-win situation right.

While we wondering inside the forest, Mia spot Hob-Goblin 3 meter from us, the strategy is simple I will fight at front while Mia and Liza give me aid from behind, on my signal Mia start casting her spell and Liza give me boost on defense using her [Protection] skill, I dash forward and use [Poison Spilt] in order to deal extra damage on that monster, the Hob-Goblin notice the ambush and charge forward and jump right up the air to land a stomp with its feet on my back, by the help of my [iron Skin] and Liza [Protection] the impact is reduced, “I have finished the spell, now back off” scream from Mia, a big size of fireball floating on Mia staff, notice the danger hold within that attack Hob-Goblin try to escape but I use [Poison Bite] and rip off its leg to stop it from running away. “Boom” the impact from Mia fireball really deal high damage on the Hob-Goblin, looking at the effect I know there is no way that monster can survive after taking that attack and my poison attack.

After final clash and to make sure it dead, Mia steps forward and check it by herself, few seconds later Mia face start to give a smile and she said “yeah, our first hunting quest is finish, well thank to my powerful magic attack isn’t”, Liza just smile and keep hold of her hand because she still traumatise on what happens before inside the dungeon, notice that Liza feel uneasy I stroke her head with my tail and Liza reply with a smile on her face that is enough to give me satisfied in her reply. Mia come and said thank me and I just nod my head, I don’t be aware why Mia suddenly mad about but she tries to attack me with her spell before be stopped by Liza, girls are a scary creature more than I know, both of them return to report about completion of their quest and I check my status to see if I had level up or not.

It has been my nature to waken with a noisy sound made by this two girls, “what are they talking about and what their plan today?” I feel very tired and sleepy because hardly have enough rest for myself since I busy to take care this novice adventurer during my hunt and accompany them do their quest, I decide to leave them with their conversation and back to sleep but that just a plan, Mia suddenly shake my body to wake me up “hey wake up, we need to talk now,” said the mage girl. What they want from me, do they need my helping hand again, “we have decided to name you, it kinda rude to keep calling you just lizard while you have given us so much help,” said Liza.

I never plan or think having a nickname before, for me living as a monster does not require a name so that idea not once come in my mind, “what you think, do you like it or you don’t want us to naming you?” asking Mia by making sad face, I just keep silence and nob my head to give reply that I don’t mind receive a name from them as long as that name is cool. ”Well, allow me to go first [Cokoro] [Hikan] [Dekonomi] [Maidichi] [Higama] how about that?” said Mia with proud on her face, I was speechless after listening to that kind of name, where she gets that idea for naming anyways, there must be something malfunction inside her brain, I turn my face toward Liza and she just smile and said “how about [Deus]”, listen to Liza suggestion for my name I smile and agree with that name [Deus] it will be my name from now on, “Aw, why you hate the nickname that I give to you it cools, though” spoke Mia.

Three of us have agreed to use [Deus] when referring to myself, and as per Mia suggestion that they want to be my companion, at first I do not hope for to lose another friend just like Ordina but, I decide to be stronger than before so I can protect both of these girls in future. We shake hands and tail together as symbol of our new friendships, “hey did you know, many adventurers will come to this [Death Forest] so I think you need to be careful for time being Deus” said Mia while lay her arm on my head, why they even bother to approach in this forest anyway and despite they found me, I sure I can take them down with ease. Liza rises her hand to talk “based on what I hear in this morning, those folk comes in order to hunt for the king of this forest, in the recent day many people have been its meals and the landlord can’t let this incident bygone anymore” claim Liza.

What, are they going to take my prey? I can’t let those people have my revenge on that stupid cat, and I quickly make my move and search for the party with the task to kill that feline, it was my prey and I don’t like anyone other than me to touch my target. Liza and Mia follow me from behind after realizing me rushing into the jungle, looking around like crazy I can’t even find a single trace to lead me to locate the lion, “where are you hiding you little cat” suddenly I can hear people screaming coming from north direction of my location, without wasting time I dash to that noise coming from and finally I arrived at party of adventure and that lion, the uneasy feeling that adventurer will kill the lion before I do vanish in thin air after I see blood and part of human body on the ground. Liza and Mia who recently arise shock with the scenery they watch with their own eyes.
