《The Heart Of Dominance》Bandits

The trip was relatively uneventful in the beginning. Most monsters didn't like to be out and about during fall. Their fur would quickly get soaking wet from the heavy snow. And for monsters drying off was a hassle unless they knew how to use proper magic. So the bears and wolves were in their caves, probably hunkered down snuggling with their family.
****
The snow kept coming down in massive amounts and would fall on the carriage. It didn't really bother the Braden family, though. The family was nice and warm inside their enchanted carriage. Drakai was currently doing pushups on the ground along with both his parents.
They had been doing nonstop reps for about 30 minutes now. His mother and father didn't even break a sweat yet and probably wouldn't. They were far above such small exercises. Only battles that transcended the sound barrier would make them sweat.
While they were fine, drakai was starting to sweat a little bit.
Drakai was woken up by his father and mother, who also just woke up. "Ahhh, man, I'm sore, time for a warmup." Stretching his hand out and arching his back to try and stretch out his muscles. After he was done stretching, he dropped down and started to do pushups with his wife following suit. And that's how he ended up in this particular situation.
His parents gave him the evil eye while doing them until he broke and joined them. Ember was lying down on one of the fluffiest cushions while she watched the strange creatures do the same movements over and over again.
They kept doing the pushups until they were interrupted by the motion of the carriage stopping. And they heard shouts outside.
"BANDITS" One of the guards yelled at the top of his lungs. Dov sprung up, and a sword appeared in his hand. In his wife's, a spear also pooped into existence. Dov rushed outside, looking for something to sink his blade in, but Saraa stayed inside for a few seconds.
Then, turning to drakai, who was also on his way out, she picked him up with one hand and carried him over to one of the benches. Saraa lifted the seat up, and underneath there was a compartment, then shoved him inside. She closed the lid. "Do not leave from there. You are not ready for this type of battle." Then opening the seat again, she dropped a furry animal in with him. After that, he heard the carriage door shut.
Drakai was really embarrassed, first by how he was manhandled by his mother and then by saying he wasn't ready. He realized that his mother just cared about him, but it still stung. The sting of being too weak quickly multiplied into the desire to become stronger. And soon, in a slight fury, a pair of glowing eyes lit up in the darkness.

Outside, dov was cutting limbs and chopping off heads. The number of bandits was quite a bit. The guards though not outmatched, were outnumbered. The guards were slicing through the enemy with their Kai-Ra. None of the guards or Dov was worried at the moment. Due to him looking calm, everyone else felt calm. And for the reason why Dov was calm was that he felt no Aura higher than his own.
Walking out of the carriage, Sarra had her spear in her hand and a smile on her face. War was intoxicating to the Eldrasie people. One of the bandits started to lung at her, but before he could move more than two feet, he fell to the ground and saw the other half of his body. It was a weird experience for the bandit. He had never looked at himself in the eye.
After severing the bandit in half in less than a second, she started to spin her spear about her with the occlusal thrust. Every one of her movements brought death. All though the bandits were scared, they were also excited. She was just as beautiful as she was dangerous. And eldrasie men loved both.
Dov had just finished slicing a man into quarters when he felt a pressure equal to his. The aura slammed down on the area, trying to intimidate the guards that were fighting back. "Piece of shit'" Dov released all of his pressure at once, and the two auras were at a stalemate the ground shook from the pressure and the frozen ground started to crack from the two warriors Aura.
Walking through the people who were still fighting, dov found himself face to face with the person trying to kill him and his family. Knowing this, he became even angrier at the bandit, and his eyes started to glow even brighter. The bandit leader was slightly taller than Dov and also marginally bulkier. He had flaming red hair and beard and was only wearing pants. His upper body rippled with muscle with every movement.
"Who are you, and why are you doing this?"Dov asked glaring at the bandit leader.
"Who I am doesn't matter to you. You will be dead shortly anyway. Dov laughed.
"Me die?" Lifting his sword up and pointing it at his adversary, he spoke. Tell me your name so that when people sing of my accomplishments, they can know the fool that died at my hands."
"ENOUGH." Evident rage appeared on the bandits' leader's face, and he launched himself at dov with his eyes glowing brightly.
"This is why fools that only use only dolor-tas are weak." Dov smirked. Most Eldrasie would choose not to practice dolor-kai because it has a high death rate the first time you use it. Dov could tell, through his senses, that the person in front of him could not use it due to many years of fighting. He thought the person in front of him was a coward for not trying to master the second stage of dolor-tas.

The bandit leader pushed off the ground and was in front of Dov in less than a second.
"Weak"
Dov spoke. Slashing up in an arc the blade heated up due to the speed, leaving the bandit no time to react he was severed in half. His organs stay inside due to the blade cauterizing him.
Dov's sword had broken the sound barrier making a loud clap spread throughout the area.
He fell into two parts, both sides flying past dov one side of the bandits' leader on his left and one on his right, with his guts remaining in his body due to a thick layer of burnt skin. Nobody but Saraa saw what happened. Nobody was on their level. But what everybody saw, including the bandits, was their leader moving extremely fast with his weapon pointed at the eldrasie lord, and then the next moment, their leader flew past him in two different parts.
After that, the rest of the bandits were taken care of rather quickly. All the guards looked around. None of them had died, many had wounds, but they were currently gulping down potions to fix them right away.
*BANG*
Both Dov and his wifes' eyes widened as they turned around and saw that their carriage was shaking. Instantly Sarra activated her Dolor-Kai and rushed to the carriage, the ground broke beneath her feet due to the kinetic energy, and the earth trembled. She stopped right in front of the carriage. And ripped the door open. What she saw left her pissed.
***
While everyone was out fighting, drakai was in the carriage. Drakai had calmed down considerably and was snuggling against ember. He heard most of what was going on outside, mostly screams and shouts, people giving orders, and some cries of death mixed in with the orders. Then, while he was in the dark compartment, he heard a noise. It was the sound of the carriage door being opened.
"Idiots, while you are being stupid and having an Honorable death, I will be gone with the loot already." A deep crawling voice spoke. Drakai made sure not to move or make a sound. But life is often unpredictable, and ember started to fidget. She was cramped. She lifted her head, and it bumped the top of the seat lid.
Holding his breath and pinning the ember down, he waited to see if the man in the carriage had heard them. He released his breath, glad that they didn't get caught. Settling back in, he hunkered down, waiting for his parents to get back from fighting the bandits off.
*CRACK* The lid was torn off, and he saw a man with a massive grin on his face. The man thrust his hand into the compartment, lifted Drakai out, and threw him into the wall. Unfortunately, the power behind the throw was extreme, and on impact, Drakai broke five of his ribs that punctured one of his lungs, and his internal organs started to fail almost instantly. The only reason he had not broken through the wall was that it had enchantments on it.
Drakai fell to the ground coughing blood out and barely was able to move. The pressure from impact had also busted most of his blood vessels, including the ones on his eyes, and because of this, he could barely see what was happening around him. All he saw was a black-haired figure with glowing eyes. The figure brought his fist up to finish Drakai off.
Drakai was concentrating on the rising energy gathering in his solar plexus. It felt like it was about to explode, so he let it.
"Piss off" Drakais's body burst into action. He punched at the man with all of his strength. His fist stopped in midair.
"Really? Did you think that even double your strength would be good enough for me?" Drakai looked at his arm inside the man's grasp and lost hope. His eyes fell to the ground, this was his last chance to do something great, his second chance at life, and it was ruined by some random stranger.
*Crunch* A slight crunching sound was heard. Drakai looked up and saw his mother with her hand on the man's head. She closed her hand, and the man's head exploded, brain matter and bone shards splattered everywhere. While the gore slipped out of her fingers, she had a happy grin on her face. "Just in time!" She thought to herself.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.

Futanari incoming, do not worry not gonna make it sex novel or erotic, maybe some scenes, but that will come later in the novel or maybe not at all, but to be sure I checked the Sexual Content too.
