《The Heart Of Dominance》First Kill

My fight scenes are gory so keep that in mind before you start reading. However, I like things to be realistic, so that's how I write my fights.
Walking up to the sound of a servant chopping wood, drakai got up and checked his sphere's progress which kept growing faster and faster by the day. Two weeks ago, it was the size of a ping-pong ball, and now it was about 0.5 times bigger than that. It was growing at super speeds. "with this amount of growth, my sphere is going to be completed before I turn 15.
Sighing with his list of problems that kept growing, getting up, he went to the kitchen for some food he was deathly hungry. Making his way into the kitchen was a chore because everything seemed to be frozen this early in the morning. Finally, sitting down on a chair, he ate some cheese and thought about the things he was going to need to do.
***
A couple of hours later, you could see a giant pillar in the middle of the Braden courtyard, making the gravity twice what it was. And also, a small eldrasie boy swings a sword way bigger than himself. His eyes are glowing.
"Alright, that enough for today" Turning the pillar of he went up to drakai. We are done with swordplay now. We are going to entirely focus on hand-to-hand combat. Tossing him a Regeneration Potion, drakai started to gulp it down, feeling better right away. The last lesson was just a warm-up. The actual training begins now.
Nodding his head, drakai gave the craked weapon back to his teacher and awaited instructions. His teacher pulled a huge bag and a stand, placing them both on the ground. He looked at his disciple. "Alright, little one, we are going to start with the basics, and then later we are going to go into the north side forest.
Some goblins are lurking around. For some reason, they thought it would be a good place to set up a village. They were wrong." After drakai got the book about the monsters and beasts, he knew precisely what jack was talking about, and because he knew, he started to get a little worried.
"They are not much bigger than me, right, and that sword is dull. How am I going to kill them?" Shaking his head at his naive student, he pulled out a sword.
"Because that is not the only sword that I have. Also, they are relatively stupid, so you could easily trick them and run away. But if you run away, I'm going to kill you for being a coward."
Dakais eyes widened. "What type of psychopath are you?" Then, thinking to himself, he gets up.
"And because we are going on a mini-mission, we are not using the gravity pillar for the hand-to-hand combat. So I can't have you being too tired to fight properly and then die from a goblin because you are too tired to defend against one."
The first thing you need to understand is that balance will make you get injured less. The rest will be easier to learn if you have a solid base. Showing Drakai certain movements that utilized rotation to add force to strikes and how to keep his balance better. The teacher went into great detail on the importance of using the whole body when hitting something.

"Alright, I have shown you a couple of basic movements now, come over here and hit this bag with the technique that I showed you.
"Okay" going up to the bag, drakai planted his feet the way his teacher taught him, lined up his upper body, and delivered a right hook with his entire body weight going into it. His fist connected with the bag, and a small thump and the crack could be heard as drakai's hand was fractured all over. It felt like hitting a brick wall. "Ahhhh, fuck, what the hell is in there?" Looking at jack with an expectant look. The only reason why drakai wasn't crying out in pain was due to the dolor-tas.
"..."
Nodding to himself, jack was pleased with the beginner's hit. Tossing him a vial with purple liquid in it. "Alright, drink that, and then we will practice for a couple more hours, and then we will go kill those goblins." Getting up and nodding, he started to punch the air and mimic the movement that he was just taught.
About three hours later, you could see a young eldrasie male punching the air and going through the movements, only this time he was not sweating in an absurd amount due to the hell pillar not being around and the fact that he was not swinging around a giant sword. "Alright, that's enough. Go get some warmer clothes on and me back here in an hour.
"Alright," saying goodbye for the time being. Drakai headed back to his room.
Picking his warmest clothes and laying them on the chair by the desk, he concentrated on his sphere. Using one of the many crystals that he now had, he started to take the pure energy into his core. And stopped before he started to puke from using too much of the power. He then began to read more out of the books that he had received from the strange little man at Belamores.
Looking up at the sun, it was bout time for drakai to leave his room. Putting on his warmest tunic and wearing a hat and leather gloves, he set out for the courtyard where jack was already waiting.
"Alright little one time to go hunt some of these ugly green rats." Jack showed him his new sword. "I will give it to you when we near the goblins, taking the blade for a second drakai inspected it.
Unlike the last training sword he had received, this one was very sharp and was better made. Swing it around, he found out that it was slightly heavier than the last one, which instead of making him worried, made him a little happy, knowing that there was going to be some weight behind those swings. He gave it back to jack, who put it back into his D-Ring
Whistling strangely, jack whistled a pattern that sounded rather odd. Looking around at jack, wondering why he would do something like that, he immediately got his answer. The ground started to shake and slightly vibrate when a whole Ramlik jumped over the 12-foot walls surrounding the courtyard. "Holy shit, that's one big Ramlik." In awe of its size, he stood there with his mouth open.
Since he had gotten the books from otto he had come to learn that the big goats were called ramliks, and they were the most common form of travel.

Feeling a pulling sensation on the back of his tunic, he was lifted into the air and placed on the ramlik and was soon accompanied by jack himself. "HAA," yelling at the ramlik to go, the beast started to run full sprint at the wall and then cleared it. As they flew over the fence, drakai was beside himself with giddiness at the feeling of flying so high into the sky. Then they landed, and it felt like somebody kicked Drakai in the balls.
Feeling like he was about to puke and cry, tears started to run down his cheeks. Looking back, jack saw his student crying. "What a wimp." Thought jack to himself. Dashing over the snow mounds and breaking through the thick snow like it was nothing, the ramlik continued to labor on until they saw the Forrest come into sight.
"Alright, little one, you are going to take care of them. If I were to participate, the goblins would all die too quickly. But worry not, you will have the Mittens to help you." Pulling out the sword and handing it to Drakai. Drakai couldn't help but blurt out.
"Who the fuck, mittens?" Jack looked back with a pained expression and then pointed down at the ramilk."She is mittens" Looking down at the Ramlik Drakai, Drakai was surprised once again.
"ITS A FEMALE?" Jack looked at drakai.
"My boy, it has udders." Jack looked at drakai as if he was an idiot.
Drakai looked at jack. " I usually don't spend my time looking at the crotches of monsters."
"You should. It might save your life one day," Jack said if as he was a great sage.
Getting closer to the forest line, they could see little green people start screaming and pointing. "Alright I'm out." Slapping mittens rear end, and urging her to go faster, jack lept off mittens.
"Damn him, I'm going to die." Charging full speed at a line of goblins, the ramilk lowed its head and slammed into 5 of them. Flying from the impact, the goblins flew through the air towards the trees. Most of them got back up with a couple of wounds, but one flew right into a tree and got gored through the stomach on a branch, it's viscera slipping out of him and onto the cold ground.
Being flung from the ramilk from the violent force of the charge, drakai skidded along the ground and hit the base of a tree. Feeling dazed, he looked around. He saw a goblin charging him down, angry at the loss of one of their brethren, his eyes slightly glowing. His head started to clear just as one of the goblins jumped in the air and had a dagger pointed at his head.
Rolling out of the way, the dagger hit the ground. Seeing how close he was to death, his mind went into flight or fight, but having the eldrasie blood running in his veins, the only reaction he could have was to fight. Springing up and grabbing the ugly creature's head, he spun and slammed its head into the ground, where it burst open, and brain matter flew on the ground.
Looking for his sword, he saw it lying on the ground forty feet away. He also saw mittens absolutely destroying a group of 50 goblins with organs and limbs flying away from the creature. Picking up the dagger that was still stuck in the ground, he started to rush towards the sword but was blocked by 6 goblins. "Get the hell out of the way!" Screaming at the goblins. One screamed back. Its huge teeth are coated in saliva.
It leaped into the air with a spear and tried to spear him through the throat he dodged, but it still got his shoulder opening a deep wound, and blood started to pour out of it pissed at the creature, he grabbed its leg as it was passing him swinging it down and stabbing it in the neck, blood sprayed out from the force of the stab and got on drakai's face.
The pain from the shoulder wound was intense. Having no control of it, he fell deeper into a blood lust and wanted nothing more than to kill the creature's before him. one of the goblins swiped at him with a mini sword he blocked it with the dagger and kicked it in the knee while it was falling he stabbed it in the head. Then, holding the corpse, he flung it at another one.
Due to his bloodlust, he wasn't paying attention that well and was stabbed in the area behind the knee, which severed some of his tendons, falling into one knee he was in a state of ecstasy because of His Dolor-Tas working at extreme speeds he stabbed at the creature behind him. It made contact, slicing through the stomach; its organs flew out of the stomach. Grabbing a handful-full, he flung it at the other goblins that were about to hit him; blinding all three, he rolled and picked up the spear.
Flinging it at one and spearing it through the head, he rushed up and stabbed another one in its head. The other had no weapon but tried to bite his neck. He punched it in the head with all of his strength as it was in midair. The hit flung the goblin into a tree, limping over to it and punching in the head until it stopped moving.
Getting up, he walked over to his sword. And turned around to fight some more, but there was no more. Only a proud ramlik trotting around the corpses of its vanquished enemies.
*Bang*
Looking behind him, drakai saw a couple of trees fall down, and then he saw a colossal head peak through the trees. "hahaha yay, I'm so lucky, food comes to me." The troll laughed as it hobbled over to the young eldrasie. Drakai stared at the enormous humanoid creature. Due to the Dolor-tas working at maximum, he was about to charge it down in a state of blood lust. But before drakai could charge it down, it was flung back and crashed into a massive oak tree.
Moving so fast that drakai couldn't see him, jack appeared before the ugly beast ripped its leg off, used it like a bat, and hit the troll in the head. Giving no resistance, the troll's head exploded, covering the snow in a fine brain matter paste.
The last thing drakai saw before suffering Dolor-Tas backlash was a tall edrasie picking him up.

Jack was reincarnated, again. This time, the omnipotent sphere had finally revealed to him that this new world was, in fact, the real one, and his soul had just returned to his body after two years of coma. During that span, the Earth or the magical world No.146, where he was The Grand Sage, was just a simulation experience. Jack inherited the System of Knowledge from his former self in the previous world. But gradually, he realized there were other Returners, holding other powerful Systems that they themself were also granted. The reason? The Omnipotent Sphere refused to give an answer. With the ever-burning desire to find his former friends and companions at World No.146 after their souls too were returned to this world, Jack began his journey. Ahead of him, five hundred years old as he technically was, there might be some surprises he still wasn’t prepared for. This is an original translated work. I’ve always wanted to challenge my writing skill and post on Royalroad a few times, but, as it turned out, I realized my own English capability still limited me. Therefore, I am currently working with a team of three, hence the name Triopals, consisting of me, the author, a translator, and an investor who really put his faith in this project. My translator and I will work together to deliver four chapters each week. Depending on the translating, editing, re-reading, checking, and re-reading-again process, the chapters will be uploaded each day or all at once. Careful as we may be, there can still be some errors at our best, so we welcome grammatical corrections, etc. We are very appreciative of your support.
