《The Heart Of Dominance》Potions and Traning

Waking up, Drakai felt if his head would crack in half. Not only that, but he could barely move his body. It felt like needles were being poked in his skin from every direction.
"Wakey-wakey." Hearing a voice, drakai turned his head and was greeted by a massive hand holding a clear vile with a purple liquid inside it.
"Here, drink this. It will help you recover from body stress. I hope you learned an important lesson today. What you experienced is called Dolor-tas, it's a reaction That all eldrasie people experience when they are in pain. It sends their bodies into overdrive and allows us to perform incredible feats of strength. Although it does have a personal cost, and that's having your body feel all the stress at once that it went under when your body was under the effect of Dolor-tas."
"But that being said, there are two things that I need to speak on. Number one, you can control this ability and use it in short bouts. That way, the effect on your body is minimal. And second, this makes working out a happy experience for the eldrasie people." Drinking the liquid that was in the vial, he could feel his fatigue go away.
"I can control it?"Jacks words made him feel better.
"Yes, and that's one of the things young eldrasie children have to learn. Your father himself asked me to dive into the subject with you."
"Drink that up quick. We aren't done training yet. We still have half a day to drill stuff into your head."
Getting up, drakai was surprised by how effective the stuff in the vial was. It felt like his muscles were fixing themselves. "What was in that vial?" Drakai asked with a surprised face,
"That my little friend is called a regeneration potion. It's a potion that uses magic and specific plants to accelerate the body's healing at the cost of no personal energy. The one that I gave you was an intermediate potion, made by an intermediate alchemist."
"How can I get more?" Drakai asked those potions could be extremely helpful in the future was his thinking. "IF you continue to behave and perform like today, you will get them for free, but other than that, you can just walk into the town and buy one if you have the money."
"Damn, that's right, I forgot that my father and mother monitor a town outside these walls. I never got to see what the town looks like because my father never lets me leave." Thinking that now was the best time to seek out, considering that his parents were not there, he started to form a couple of ideas in his head for escaping the grounds.
"Alright, less sitting, more working, let's go." Jack stood up and propped the door open with one hand, waiting for the little eldrasie to walk out the door. Thanks to the regeneration potion, he felt brand new and was ready to go. He hopped off the bed and followed the giant eldrasie outside. Once outside, Jack paused and looked like he was thinking about something.

"All eldrasie men learn how to fight with their fists, but we also are masters of swords and every weapon underneath the sky. That being said." Jack reached into the air, and a sword manifested itself into his hand.
"This is a Kai-Ra, the most basic sword that the eldrasie army men use. It's very heavy, and every blade has a set of runes on it that determine how heavy it is. So it's a weapon as much as it is a training tool for strength."
Handing the weapon to the young eldraise, drakai was surprised by both its lightness and its design. It had a four feet handle that was wrapped in dark black leather. The blade its self was about 5 feet which means that it was twice the height of drakai. It was a very wide flat blade that sharpened up to a point.
"Sir, I thought you said it would be heavy. Why is it so light?"
"Because I made it that way, if it were any heavier, it would ruin how I teach you to use it, your form would be affected by the weight, thus making the training do nothing, and you could hurt yourself."
Nodding to himself because it made sense, the young eldrasie picked the weapon up and started to swing it around.
"It seems kinda unbalanced." Drakai thought as he kept swinging it around.
"Alright, enough fooling around. We have work to do, young one. First thing first is the Over-Head chop, so basic that even a baby can do it." Looking at Jack, a pained expression could be seen on drakai's face,
"I am a lierally baby, I am two . It's just that you people are crazy." drakai thought to himself.
Jack lifted the blade over his head, brought it down, and stopped it before hitting the ground.
"Alright, now just do that about 200 times, and then you can come to talk to me again after your done with practicing the forms."
Drakai was about to start when he heard jack say something that made him wince.
"Hmmm, I didn't say start it." Pulling out the pillar, he threw some crystals inside, and the familiar hum and vibrations started again.
"This is bullshit, just when I thought he was being nice by making the sword lighter than it actually is."
"Alright, you can go now." Drakai heeded his words and started performing the overhead chop.
98...99...100, Soaked in sweat, drakai completed 100 swings. It was at that point his eyes started to glow. "Breath, boy, and battle the feeling. You can control dolor-tas. Take deep breaths and focus—Drakai began to take deep breaths while he continued to swing the giant sword. At first, he thought he was failing because his muscles started getting warmer, and he began to feel better.

But with the deep breaths and focusing on the pain rather than the pleasure, he calmed down quite a bit, sure his eyes were still glowing, and he was still getting a boost, but it was nowhere near as strong as earlier.
"That's it, boy, keep that up, and you'll be able to control dolor-tas completely."
Simple nodding because he was too busy focusing on his form, drakai felt great. He felt like he was on a low burn, using just enough energy not to feel the pain and not too much where he felt like he was high. After another 30 minutes, he finally finished his forms. Wiping the sweat off his forehead.
He looked expectantly at his teacher. Shaking his head, jack pointed at the sky. The sun was setting, and with it came all of the beautiful hues of the burning sun casting its crimson hues on the frozen ground and matching the color of drakai's eyes, making them glow once again.
Sitting down, drakai felt a slight headache coming on, and his body was fatigued. "Here." Tossing another vial filled with purple liquid. Drakai caught it and immediately started to gulp it down. "It tastes like a tart fruit." Drakai thought.
"Thank you, teacher."
Thanking jack, drakai started to get up.
"I will send one of the maids to come to get you in the morning so we can continue our lessons."
"Alright, see you tomorrow." Feeling nothing but mental exhaustion from the long day, he made his way to his room. Although jack was done with his lessons, drakai wasn't done with the day. "Damn, that was one rough day, but I'm not done yet."
Even if I am part of the most physically adept race, magic is still the path that I want to go down, and ill be damned if I let my father get in my way."In the two years since he had been born, Drakai had been growing up at an accelerated pace due to his eldrasie genes and having the mentality of a ten-year-old already. He didn't know, it but he was already on the path to personal power.
Sitting on his bed, drakai held a glowing crystal near his solar plexus and took in every ounce of energy stored inside it into his Mana-Sphere. It was being filled up with more and more black energy by the day naturally, but the crystal sent his sphere into overdrive, putting days' worth of energy gathering into it.
That being said, there were side effects like the violent puking that fallowed after he did it for more than 10 minutes at a time. Then, puking his guts out and retching, he hid the crystal that looked a lot dimmer under his pillow. After that, he called for a maid who cleaned up the mess right away.
After that, he took a nice long bath and fell asleep shortly after that. A peaceful look settles on his face.
****
However his parents are not sleeping peacfully, on a mountain range, many miles from where drakai is sleeping peacefully.
"Dov, watch out!" Saraa screamed as a giant tail swung towards his body, the massive sword he held in his hand started to glow. He blocked the enormous tail and was flung back from the sheer strength of the creature.
"Damned dragons." Saraa thought as she watched her husband fly into the sky from the strike that hit him at speeds beyond the sound barrier, he was unhurt but definitely pissed.
Holding up her own weapon that was a 14-foot spear, it also started to glow, and raging hot flames burst out of the end of the spear. Utilizing her Dolor-tas, she flung the spear with all her might. The spear instantly broke the sound barrier and hit the creature at Mach 4, creating a massive sound explosion.
Slamming into the side of the gigantic beast and throwing it off balance, but it didn't kill it. Dragonhide is notoriously strong, and the dragon was a whole class higher than the two Lord-Class Magic warriors that were trying to kill it.
While being in a daze, another sonic boom erupted as dov broke the speed barrier himself and launched himself at the dragon with the full force of a meteorite. At the last moment, he activated his weapons runes and made his weapon ten times heavier. Slamming the 4-ton weapon onto the dragon's head, causing it to crack then explode. The dragon's brain matter flew everywhere, and blood soon started to gush out as well.
Taking a knife, Saraa started to cut the dragon's stomach, the weakest part of the dragon's body, and started looking for the dragon's heart. Finding it, she ripped it out and cut it open. Inside there was a brilliant condensed core of mana inside otherwise known as a Mana-Core.
A mana core results from a creature dying and their mana-sphere condensing and becoming a solid mass of mana. However, unlike a crystal, they will automatically regain the energy used over time, thus effectively making the perfect battery.
Saraa looks at her husband. "Now I can get a wizard to make a relic that can warm our house"
"Thank god" Dov had a little tear run down his face. He and his wife were beyond fed up with the cold floors of their castle.
