"Well know we know what the poison was for."
"What do you mean Drassisa? Is this room worse then the others?" Smithy asked.
"It is a echo chamber. When the noise hits you from all directions constantly the poison we found in some of the people activates. I am willing to bet that there are field spells contained in this room, try fighting what ever comes out while dealing with those traps and draining spells with you friend throwing fireballs at you when you least expect it." She responded as a way of showing what she thought the chances of making it out of this room were.
After having the place inspected it was decided that this was the worse death trap they had come across. It would fix all the traps before it if triggered and mix up where they were in the dungeon. Anyone that tried to make it out after surviving the damned thing would be exhausted and disorientated, fighting an up hill battle with illusions blocking the proper view of what traps are their.
Small things that when added up will be the death of most everyone that enters. Those that make it through the hell of a slog te even get at this area would be taken care of or killed when they tried to escape. Some would make it out but there was a confusion effect on the sound. It would be unlikely that any would properly remember what was where and any maps that they did make would all be pointless after the single run they came from.
Only the mad mage would come up with something so pointlessly redundient for killing people. There were more spells and traps in this single floor them most dungeons had in the entire complex. All meant to kill and treated as a mere distraction so that the real trap could kill them. After some time they came up with the perficet way of describing this lovly little piece of hell.

It was as if someone had bonded with death and tied it to a building. Given the old bugger unlimited time and magic and told only that he had to have as much fun as he possible could. That he should entertain himself for as long as he possibly could by building this place to his hearts content. By the looks of the place he had plenty of fun building it. Made so many traps that it boggled the mind where he got the space to put them all.
"I hate this place." Tea said after burning an entire area to the ground.
It was filled with carnivorous plants and charm magic. You would just wander into it and smell the roses. Even as they ate you face piece by piece you would smell them laughing the entire time. What beautiful scenery. What lovely flowers that were. And the sound of that waterfall. it could just make you want to go the sleep in a nice shady spot. Why was there the warmth of the sun in here along with its light. Don't question it, that is why.
It came right after the room where confusion magic would get you to sell you soul to a little demon in exchange for protecting the dungeon for a hundred years. A truly bad deal for everyone that signed it. The worst part was that even if the little bastard was killed it could just re sommon itself like nothing had happened. Comming back again and again until the dungeon was finally destroyed. Things were getting worse and the monsters kept coming.
"What the hell is that thing, it looks like gluttonys ass crack. What monster thought that abomination into existence." Embrda yelled at the top of his lungs.
For thirty minutes they had hacked and burned it. Cast enough spells to bring down city gate and hit it with everything they had. The expedition knew that this thing was only here to waste their resources but if they did not throw them away it would not matter. They would all be dead. As it were three had fallen to the damn thing when they could not get out of its way in time. Three had already fallen that way. Crushed under its massive weight. Their voices begging the others to join them in bliss.

"Tea by all the gods if you don't stop holding back on this thing and rip it apart I will kill you myself." Embrda shouted loud enough for everyone to hear him. He was serious, it did not matter what they managed to save if they all died.
"Buy me some time and don't stop attacking it. I will do some horrible things to you if you dare to stop." She shouted. So far she had only been raising dead and throwing out a few lethal spell but now she was getting serious.
First she bound the flesh and bent it to her will. Twisting it and slowing the things movements. Then she shattered all the bones it its mass. Turning them into blades to shred the thing from the inside. She leaked curses of rotting and decay into the bones so that everything they cut would be tainted and mend slower for the monster. She tuned the rot into acid and scourched the thing form the inside out and all of that to prepare the beast for what came next.
She pulled it inside out and then repeated the process multiple times. All the while her spells were active and damaging it. By the time ten more minutes was up it was dead and still she did not stop. They had weakened the thing as the cost of so much of their gear and still she barely managed it.
She barely manged to fell the abomination from over the edge of the world. From the nightmares of frightened children that had haunted them until their last days. She had barely managed it and would be damned to the Hells if she let the thing come back. She would continue until it was not but ash and memory. Until even the ash had disappeared and memory was all that remained. That should keep the thing dead for a while at least.
"I am tapped, that was the last of my mana and I had to over charge it so even potions will only help a little. It will be at least a day before I can cast anything big like that again. We need to rest and take stock of what we still have. All in favor?"
"Aye." They all agreed that this could not keep on. Sure they had lost less then ten of their number so their spirit was unbroken. Those that had died had not fallen pray to the traps so much as monsters.
With Teamasa tapped out all the other mages got to work securing the area. They had an admiration for her, even the ones stronger then she was. Sure the groups fire mage could and had roasted large parts of the dungeon but he had met his match against a monster that regenerates and does not stop. He specialized in large range destruction and was only slightly better off then Tea herself.
After they had secured the base camp they came to a rest on the second day. They had not felt safe to do so until now. They knew that it was probably a trap but better the one you know about then the one you don't. Just in case they warded the dreams of everyone sleeping. Better safe then sorry.
