"You look absolutly terrible today, what happened last night?" Tea asked teasing her friend. To be fair Sasha did look like she had been trampled by an entire army during her sleep. Covered in bruses and hagred like she had not had a single good nights sleep in twenty years.
"I feel like warmed over death and my blood is on fire." She stated to the room at large. After spending a lifetime in her soul with only a god and a devil to talk to she was glad to be awake in it was for this reason alone that she did not go back to sleep.
"Yeah, you do look a little red are you feeling OK?" Smithy asked.
"No I mean my blood is literally on fire and it is kind of annoying. I can not ever not be hot if that makes any sense."
"So I am betting you went up in power last night, am I right?" Drassisa said with a knowing look in her eyes.
If you focused closely on Sasha you could feel that she was changed, that the power in her very bones had shifted in intinsity. She was on the slower side in this regard as most of her companions had already done so during the hunts that they had undertaken but the dramatic shift in power for her showed that it was worth it.
Most just wake up feeling grogy but for her to be this beat up ment that she must have endured a lot more then was normal for being in your own soul safe from the world. It made her friends curious as to what she went through and it did not take them long to ask.
"Are you fucking insane?" Tea asked with a look of wonderment on her face.

"Why would you show a god and a demon around your soul. That is literally one of the dumbest things that you can possibly do."
"I did it because it would have been rude to draw them into my soul without at least giving them a tour." She said in response.
"Wait hold on a minute. Is the Lady a demon or a devil?" Embrda asked after catching what was being said.
"Tecanilly she can be counted as either because her mother was a demon and her father was a devil." Sasha pointed out trying to change the subject. It did not work.
"That does not matter right now. Are you OK, most only draw the gaze of their patrons maybe their presence but rarely the actual god that they serve. We are talking about Popes only being filled with the light of the one that they serve and it forever changing them here." Drassisa said because she knew the most about the subject of gods being from a healing order herself.
"It was not the first time that we have talked like that, only the first time that it took place in my soul. We have talked for years in my dreams after all. We did first meet when the old bugger came around in mortal form to express his displeasure at what one of his followers had done in his name. Kind of hit it off from there without knowing who I was laughing at when he messed up at playing a game with me." Sasha said remembering good memories from when she was just a small child.
"What do you mean that you laughed at a god to his face and lived to tell the tale." This came from Tess who had yet to say anything and was busy looking after his pups.

"Just that, we became good friends during that time and kept in touch thourgh my dreams for years after. He is the one that encouraged me to go my own way and do my thing. Reguardless of what anyone from the church felt about it or what they felt that I owed them." Sasha said with a straight face. Somehow she had, as a child mind you, impressed a god to the point that they called each other friend.
It was almost inconcevable that she could pull it off if it were not for the fact that they suspected Fate was playing with them. What were the odds that things worked out just right so that she could do that and not get smited by an angry god? Almost none!
That did beg the question as to what the future would hold for this imbiceal. She would meet up with them again in her soul when next came the time for her to break through. When she was next at the precipice of power, what would she do and see.
But far more importantly was the fact that they could not let her old church find out about this. If they did then the chances of them ever letting her go free was almost nonexastant. She would be confined to the church and used by those in the upper ranks for their own personal agenda's. They might even lable her a living saint and lock her away to keep the filth of the world from ever tainting her splendor. It was why most sane people avoided relegious fanatics like they had the plague.
"So what is this about your blood being on fire?" Smithy asked after letting that thought digest for a few minutes while Sasha drank a cup of coffee.
"Tecanilly my blood is now both stone and fire. Stonefire! Sounds pretty cool right. Well it is sure to be a nasty suprise for anything that tries to take a bite out of me that is for sure." She said with a chuckle in her voice.
"Really it just means that I am harder to kill then I was before and that actually managing to kill me will come at a cost. Be sure to never get my blood on you and you should be OK. It you do, well you might just want to kill yourself because stonefire never comes off and it burns as hot as the bowes of the very earth we stand on."
At this point everyone was looking at her and thinking about the fact that what you get from ranking up in power is largly dependent on both your deeds and the force of your own personality. For her to get something like Stonefire blood would mean that she would go down swinging and there was nothing and no one that could change that.
She would be taking some of what ever finally managed to bring her down and take her head along for the trip to the hells.
