I felt myself waking up. Everything was pitch black. I sat up on the hard ground. I couldn’t hear anything. No echoes. Silence. My eyes were wide open, but could not adjust to this darkness. This was as pitch black as you could get.
I stood up. I felt wobbly. My outstretched hands could feel no walls.
I walked. There was nothing. I ran. There was nothing. Just silent emptiness.
I was in the void.
Mr Bishop had disappeared me.
No one and no thing had ever returned after Mr Bishop had made them disappear. Neither panicking nor remaining calm seemed to be an appropriate response.
