As I woke up, I had thought that I heard some birds singing, but that was probably my mind playing tricks with me, or maybe the monsters didn't kill al the birds around school. When I was little, I didn't have a lot of friends either, I used to always wake up early and listen to the birds, since there were a lot of bird nests next to home.

"Kind of." - Actually, no, I slept pretty bad, probably because there was a real beauty sleeping next to me, but it's better not to admit it. - "And who is the little brother? Did you forget that I'm older than you?"

"Right, if you say so, let's get moving, we still have 48h to level up safely, I'll be killing in the front, kaiya just stay healing me, and Nishi, stay far away, don't want you to die on me, when you two level up more, we'll be fighting together, since it will be no use spoiling you. I may end dying, I want you to be able to fight for yourselves too."

We went for the second floor, the monsters were still bound to the classrooms, so there weren't any problems, but soon they would start to rampage, I really need to buy that 'Safety Room'.

We did a line, with me in front, kaiya in the middle and sis behind us, this way, if monsters don't attack from behind, they won't be in any danger. We saw a room infested with level 7 ogres and decided to level up there.

I quickly beheaded the two ogres that appeared before me, It was bounded to be an easy fight, because of the difference in level, and kaiya maintaining my health high.

There were in total 11 normal ogres and a boss, that didn't seem to be a push-over , but was just a normal elite boss, no color or name to it, so it probably wouldn't be really hard, even if I was all alone.

The ogres didn't have any chance to retaliate, it was pretty much a massacre, for a few second, I even thought that they were quite pitiful, but it's better them to die than me. We proceeded to the next spawn point, Kaiya is now level 10, while Nishi is 7, even without doing anything, she is able to level up pretty fast.

I leveled up to 16 and gained 6 points from leveling up, and 8 from the monster's lair, I put 6 in agility and 8 in vitality, I could notice the difference, attributes were really everything here. Since I was using my skills on the monsters, I got a bit of proficiency, I didn't need it to kill them, but leveling up skills was bound to be useful later.

We found another spawn point, this time they were cat men. Since they were level 9, I probably should give it my all, the boss is probably going to be at least a level 15.

I threw a Fireball that was able to hit 2 cat men, they were pushed backwards and didn't seem a little bit happy, they looked at me with angry faces.

They were really fast, closing the distance in an instant, but my agility was not any lower than theirs, a little bit higher, I should say, but against 2, it was no good to drag the fight, I can only hope that there aren't too many on their respawn point.

I pierced the closest one throat and he died almost instantly, my damage on a critical spot was no joke. The second cat man, seeing his friend dying so fast was momentarily stunned, and didn't have any reaction to evade from my blade that was getting closer to its heart.

My Fireballs are getting stronger, with the aid of Fire Aura, they can do even greater damage, and it doesn't even need to be activated;

I went to the room and only saw 4 remaining cat men, excluding the boss, it seems that this fight won't be hard at all, with so little enemies, that was my first thought, till I see the boss' identity.

Shadow Cat Lord - Level 23

A level 23 boss! And a colored one at that, I'm really fucked up, but looking at the bright side, he doesn't have a name, and his HP is lesser than the rat wizard, so he's probably of lesser rank than him. Although I said that, but this guy may be a agility type boss, and if he indeed is, I'm really in deep shit, since I'll turn out to be his punching bag, without begin able to hit him at all!

The 4 cat men came running at me, but I was actually glad, since I prefer to kill the weaker monsters first, then concentrate on killing the boss. I wanted to end it fast, so I threw a Fireball and 2 Arcane Bolts on a cat men, he didn't have the reaction time needed to dodge my spells and was instantly killed by it. My damage is really no joke!

A cat man got close to me and tried to attack me from the side with his claw, but I was fully prepared for their sneak attacks, and cut off his hand from his arm. He Screamed and looked with deadly eyes at me, but I couldn't care less about him, and pierced his heart with my sword, ending his life.

Before I could take it out, another cat man came running at me, but I managed to kick him on the stomach, sending him flying, stopping only when he hit the wall. I cast 2 Arcane Bolts then 2 Arcane Bolts on him while I took my sword out from the cat man's body.

Only one remaining, that's good, he was really scared, couldn't even move right now, I went after him, but before I could slash him, I felt fear and had a dangerous feeling. I moved backwards, but my shoulders was still thrashed by the boss' claws, he didn't really have a high damage, but his speed is really insane! He close the 8 meter distance in less than 2 seconds, even with my Sisxth Sense, I couldn't completely evade it.

I tried to kick him but he easily dodge it, this guy will sure give me some trouble. I aimed at the cat man that right now was just a punching bag and with my spells, I ended his life, but the Cat Lord didn't seem happy about it, and looked at me with deadly eyes.

Kaiya cast a heal on me, and my HP got back to max, too bad, the cloth on my shoulder was still torn, but I can repair it by spending a little bit of gold on the shop. He made a wicked smile and stopped looking at me, his eyes were fully concentrated on the girls really now. Dammit! Bad news.

"You dammit cat, I'll fucking kill you if you touch her" - Surprisingly, I was really furious right now, and had time to curse.

He ran after Kaiya, swinging its paws after her, my agility was far too inferior to his, I wouldn't be able to make it in time either, kaiya had 0 defense, and because the difference in level, she would easily be killed, but to my surprise, Nishi, who was going to be our main tank in the future, was really close to her, so she managed to block the boss' attack with her shield

Too bad, the boss wasn't a strength type, but comparing his with Nishi's strength was really not a fair competition, so she was pushed backwards along with Kaiya, and both hit the wall.

The Cat Lord was getting ready to kill them, but I wouldn't let it happen again, with the time Nishi gained, I was able to slash him from behind, it was a clean hit, his HP went down to 60%, then he jumped to the sides, fully focusing on me now. I threw 2 Arcane Bolts at him, but his claws started to shine with a blue light, and he just stopped my arrows with it, what, serious, he could do that? This boss is serious trouble!

I will not surrender, he dared to attack my sis and Kaiya, I wont forgive him. I went after him, but he dodged to the side and hit my rib cage with his claw, dammit, this time, he damage was doubled because of the skill.

I threw a Fireball on his leg, he wasn't able to dodge and lost 20% HP, but he wasn't affected by it at all! He continued his slashing attacks, hitting my face and chest, my HP was already down to 12%, dammit, I won't die here!

When he tried to deliver the finishing blow, my Sixth Sense kicked in, my reflexes raise when I have less than 15% HP remaining. With this, I could at least evade from his attacks, but I still wasn't able to hit him, If I knew, I would have invested more points on agility.

I decided to activate my Arcane Barrier on my body, once again I'm close to death, I really need to select better these spawn points. I tried to slash him horizontally, but the jumped backwards in an attempt to evade my attack, but I was expecting it, and threw a Fireball right on his face, even if he was fast, he still couldn't evade while in mid-air.

He only had 15% HP left only one hit to end his life, I had 12% HP and 75% MP, this will have to do. He came running at me, lifting its paw to attack me, when I swung my blade at him, trying a piercing attack, he just dodged to the side and thrashed my other shoulder. 'Dammit! Fuck you!'

I jumped to the other side and threw a Fireball at him, he jumped to his right side, but I predicted that he would do that and cast 2 Arcane Bolts, he still managed to block the first, but he couldn't even come close to touch the second, that hit his stomach, his HP.

with only 2% HP remaining, I went after him and pierced his arm, he looked at me with fear, then dyed, without uttering a word.

"okay." - Kayia started using her skills, magic was pretty simple to use here, no need to long chants, and it could be chanted pretty fast, although I think that the stronger the spell, the more timing consuming it is.

"All right guys, I have great news. We now have enough money to buy us that safe spot, I'll be buying it right away." - I said in attempt to cheer their mood.

"Wow, that's really good, we can finally have some sleep, do you think it come with a bed? Or maybe we could put that in there... It would be sooooo good." - Nishi was getting really excited, I thought I saw her drooling for a second.

"About 5k, I got some armours from the boss, it will be useful to Nishi when she level up a little bit more, till then, leave it on the inventory, Nishi, I already bought you guys space rings. These small ones are pretty cheap anyway."

""Thanks."" - They said as I handed their rings.

"Okay, wait for a while, I gained 2 level, I have 25 status points right now, and I want to see what this fury status is about."
