(Ryan Pov)

As I exit the cave that has become my new home I see the cause for me and my kidnappers coming into the dungeon cave, the mountain blizzard, its still blowing but when compared to last time i saw it, its weakened severely with it now just being light snowfall.

the reason us why i'm here was the blizzard that appeared out of nowhere forcing me and my kidnappers to the dungeon while traveling between the 2 city's, from the road the entrance to Megan's dungeon was roughly 200 yards (180 meters) up the mountain, with the entrance in clear view of the road and vise versa.

the forest blocked the path to the road so earlier Ryan had Megan advance her area to outside the dungeon to absorb the trees surrounding the dungeon to create a clearing and Ryan also told her where the the road was so she could create a clear road to the road she even outdid me with creating lanterns with light mana crystals over a snow removed path that is made of stone steps leading to her entrance.

going down the stone steps it goes directly to the road, once at the road i have to make a choice do I go to the right where it goes to a city that is known to be poor because of war waged over the land that is lower down the mountain but its king is wise , or do I go the other way which leads to the richer city which is known as a unpenetrable fortress but its ruled by a idiot king who's only tactic is charge head on and disregard people who can't follow, so the choice is between wisdom or wealth

after a while of thinking I make my choice even with both kingdoms being very good it would be better to go to the wiser king since with this choice Megan would gain more exp for longer since, the wiser kingdom would understand that the dungeon would be a huge honeypot for adventurers so that means a lot more money for the government and the best thing the offer would be that the location where Megan's dungeon is actually classed an non-country land meaning no one has claimed it yet because of the blizzard's harshness, so I take a Right and walk to the kingdom of Ramangi.

(4 hours of walking then 2 hours of hitching a ride on a merchant cart, later)

I stand in-front of the Ramangi castle wearing my travelers gear, i sigh before walking towards the royal guards at the castle gate and they respond with the usual guard saying of no one is allowed in the castle but I saying in the formal manor that I was taught from my years in the family manor.

"I have business with the king of this country it is of up most importance and I think he will be pleased about the News i will give him, since it can fix the country's financial problems."

from hearing this the guards put up a stern face before one of the 5 guards that were present run to the Castle to collect a delegate no doubt.

after waiting for around 20 minuets outside the gate the 5th guard returns telling the rest to let me, they led me into the castle where i was made to take a direct right into a side room but in this room sat a middle-aged man in a blue tailored suit making him look obviously like a noble but he starts the conversation with a sentence.

"I'm the prime minister Yunis Weldon, who are you and what is this miracle that will cure our financial troubles."

I simply reply with "well the answer is simple to both questions my name is Ryan Colors, I was once a noble from the country of Dravis, Till i was kidnapped and one thing let to the other and now I have a job that I can't leave , this job is linked to the cure to the money problems by the way."

the prime minister reply's coldly with "well boy what is this job of yours then, tell me before my patience wears thin"

"well Prime minister Yunis my new occupation is Dungeon manager"

from hearing this Yunis instantly wises up to what Ryan's plan is so he says openly " so since you are a new dungeon manager that means there is a dungeon nearby, which also means that it can increase the amount of income the kingdom will have from one simple addition"

While Yunis says this Ryan simply nods when he finds out more about the plan, after Yunis says the last key point Ryan finally say's

" you want to know something better, the dungeon is on the part of Mt Crem which is under no countries territory due to the fact it has no natural resource except for now with a dungeon being present now."

the prime ministers eyes light up with the understanding of what I said.

"also the dungeon was already there for 7 years but it didn't have dungeon manager so its already got a dungeon nexus, which is roughly the size of a large town at the moment. "

From hearing this the prime mister jumps out of his seat and runs to my side before saying "wait you mean you already have a city there with no actual country affiliated land, this means your basically giving Ramangi a solid gold cow which could also produce gold indefinitely, this will definitely cure the financial problems out country i facing but what do you get out of it" as he says this the prime minister realizes something " wait are you promoting the dungeon so you can create a philosopher's stone."

(Drogan - the philosopher's stone for people who don't know what it is, is a stone that negate many laws of the world in many ways with some of the most known things it can do is draw magic into its self creating the perfect magic battery, as well as the philosopher's stone is said to be able to change any water its drenched in into a elixir of eternal youth, as well as another use is that its said, in the rarest cast to be able to fully revive the dead but this one is the less known of its uses so basically in shortest words possible : ' glowing rock gives immortality and magic ')

from hearing the prime minister mention a high class item like that I waved to the side and said "I would see that as a target but at this moment in time I would say its very very far in the future but for information about about the dungeon is that its a wolf type and at the moment is only got 1 floor as well as for a sign of good will here is a map with the location of the dungeon including a small parchment that shows a quarter of the dungeon layout so you can get to the dungeon nexus quickly."

from hearing and seeing the parchments in front of him the prime minister grabs onto the hands of Ryan and says " thank you Ryan colors this is more than enough with you giving land rights to the dungeon but now you also give us the best rough to the dungeon nexus I swear you are a saint hiding in a mans body"

after a while of silence Ryan speaks again " ok then Yunis this deal will go off great but i have 1 request of your country in return"

"what is it Ryan?"

"for the creation of the dungeon its already upgraded to dungeon materials level 3 making it capable of creating mana gems so for this gain i wish to get the other mana gems of the elements the dungeon already has, in this case the elements would be fire water and air mana gems since we already have earth, darkness and light crystals."

"So that's the price for all this then it's like paying a cooper for a kingdom, so as a representative of Ramangi I speak to every member of my country we will take this deal but for the final say we have to visit the king so follow me as he says this he walks to the door and becomes both Ryan and a pair of guards to come to escort us.

(After leaving the room and waling though the castle to a set of double doors)

Once at the doors of the king's bedroom the prime minister speaks up telling Me about how in the black market an assassin mark has been placed on the head of the king so he's been confined to his room for safety.

the doors open wide to show a lavish bedroom that could only belong to the king, around the room are golden decorations and wooden carvings the show their beauty though how complex they were and sitting in a bed that took up half the room was a young man with golden blond hair who looked to be at the age of 19 but actually his age is actually 35.

as us 4 people (me Yunis and 2 guards) come closer to the king his attention turns towards us. in the next moment Yunis bows to the king and says " my royal majesty I bring good news from the man next to me but I will allow Ryan colors to explain the news himself."

after the introduction I tell the king about the ins and out of the news about the dungeon and the fact hes talking to the dungeon manager but as I was about to finish an event occurs.

"That is the situation you Majesty, so i wish to ask your country to provide a ample amount of time to develop your kingdom in the dungeon so for this . . "

I never got to finish my sentence due to the window's in the kings bed room smash as a pair of dark cloaked men appear from them both welding a pair of knifes but the guards Quickly respond to it by charging them, the room quickly turns to chaos in the melee but its obvious to see the guards are being pushed back but this changes as the king and prime minister finally react with the minister grabbing onto the sword that was leaning on a desk with him passing it to the king in a throw before taking out his own sword to join the melee.

even with the situation at 2 vs 1 the cloaked people look at each other before escaping the melee and grabbing me in the process, with this I instantly catch what they are trying to do, 'hostage situation' since they know the assasins can't win now that the situation is 2 vs 1 they have to take a hostage to just escape but what they didn't expect was what i the weak looking kid with pale skin did.

as they rushed me, i took out the knife that i used for Francis's ritual and go into a guard stance, with them both charging me they must of thought they could easily grab me but they were incredibly wrong because once the closest one reached for me, i was already below his extended arm and the blade in his chest where the heart should be, seeing this the other one was stunned at my speed before getting cut down by the prime minister who was behind them.

after the chaos stopped, the other 4 people present looked at me silently before the king said. "how did you do that, the assassin must of been at least equal to a major in strength to even attempt this but you killed one in no time flat."

"well the answer was simple, before I was a dungeon manager I was adventurer of B grade which if i remember in your army is equal to a general, my Nickname even though I don't care for it was 'Dark Rainbow' so what about the deal."

"oh yeah the dungeon deal, as the king i completely enforce the use of the dungeon and I will send members to accommodate the Dungeon nexus, but because at this time i would suggest you increase the dungeon size because the more people come the more they will want the dungeon heart"

"already working on that and thank you your highness you won't regret it."

with the deal struck the only thing left to do was improve Megan and to get the word out about her more.

"oh yeah, I have a pair of favors of your highness."

"what is it, as long as its within reason i don't think were in a situation to appose it"

"well the first favor is to send this letter to my family in Dravis" as i say this i pull out a letter explaining the situation as well as the current status of my kidnappers.

"well that seems reasonable enough and what is the other Favor? "

"since your going to become a resident of my dungeon while it only has 1 floor i would like to ask for a deposit to make sure that your kingdom doesn't go after the dungeon heart, so for this i wish for your youngest daughter to become my compensation if anything is tried against the dungeon heart and if she is killed inside the dungeon due to the dungeon i will submit my self to the kingdom for execution, is that ok your highness."

from hearing me asking for his youngest daughter for a hostage, hes slightly shocked but its easy to see that he understand my worry because what is holding him back from taking the dungeon heart so for this it would be better to have a member of his family to reduce the chance of it happening so to this he says.

"I will allow it, only if she is confined to the dungeon nexus where she can become the governess of the nexus city with a guard detail at all times , so we have a excuse to not cause a war against the dungeon ."

"that would be wise so ill wait for a week for your group to come, so if you excuse me your highness goodbye."

from saying goodbye i walk to the door and leave the castle to go back to Megan, now with a new benefactor supporting Megan and me.
