《Are you a Lucker? (Luck based LitRPG)》Chapter 19

As the sun arose. The chickens clucking around, the merchants opening their vendors, and a guard flying from the door.
"Geez, I already say I can go by myself." Said Yuu as he the surrounding guard letting his arms go.
Last night, after he was putting Mio to bed. The three drunkard that tried to hit on her and Clorevica was found dead right in a dark alley, and there was a suspect telling that Yuu was the culprit. Albeit annoyed, after a little resistance, he decided to go with them after knowing that they had threatened Delice's inn.
"But! That's impossible! I was playing card with him and Clorevica la- Hmph!!" Shouted Delice, as Clorevica and her mother capped her mouth, signalling her not to stick her nose in.
And seemed like in the single night, there was a gossip spreading around that Yuu was killing those three because of jealousy. "Is this the guy?" Asked one of the guards to the skinny suspect.
"Yes! A black long hair with a big scar on his arm. There's no doubt about it." Said the suspect. Pointing his finger right into Yuu's face.
Annoyed, Yuu answering him by grabbing his clothes. "Hah?! I don't even know who you are."
"Eeek! Help! He's gonna kill me!" Said the suspect, with his B-rated movie act.
Seeing this one of the guards moving at him and punched him right into his stomach, not like it did a damage to him, but at the very least knowing that his action would only worsen the situation, Yuu threw the suspect.
People began to gather, whispering while watching this commotion. And Mio, with her 'experience' after watching many detectives anime and crimes novel, acting like she was the protagonist. Stepping onto the scene while scratching her red face. "E..erm...Mr suspect, I'm sorry... but did you really see Yuu doing that?"

"Of course I do, he single-handedly killed those three. Hmph! I know it there's no way that wood elf would bring someone decent." Said the suspect.
Nodding lightly, and this time scratching her arms. "E..erm...then...can you explain how Yuu killed them? like the weapon or the weapon?"
Startled for a little bit. "Does it matter? It was too dark, I couldn't see the process." Said the suspect.
This time, as she was scratching her neck. "Is that so... th.. then! how can you be so sure that he is the killer?" Asked Mio.
"As I said, I saw a long black haired man with a big scar on his left arm." As he finished his sentence, Mio smiled.
"But it was dark right? how can you be so sure that your eyes weren't wrong?" Completely absorbed with her role, she had a smug face while touching her chin and nodding around.
"Gh!.. that... that doesn't matter! I saw him killing them." Sweats fell from the suspect forehead as he said this.
"Hee~ even though you said it was too dark until you couldn't see the whole process but aren't you a little bit too detailed about Yuu appearances? Moreover why Yuu? there were several others adventurers with a black long hair and a scar on their left arm right? And the fact that it was dark, shouldn't you unable to differentiate the hair colour? especially a scar... but... isn't that weird? not only you saw Yuu doing that, but you also know about the inn he stays, and why waited until now? why didn't you telling the guard last night? it's not like they should search again right? doesn't this seem like you are trying to frame Yuu?"
Yuu and Clorevica weren't able to close their mouth as they completely amazed by how Mio overwhelmed the said suspect with words, moreover not a single stutter and she said all of that in a single breath.

And as the audience nodding at her word, while some of the guards were glaring at her. Though if there weren't that many spectators, they could use brute force and tried to take Yuu away, but with these many citizens watching them. They had a pride they should have kept. "...The girl is making sense." Said the guard captain.
Even though uncoordinated, but Mio knew enough that Yuu wouldn't go away without a resistance, and as the spectator had been gathered, she started her deduction. Not the best one like the one she read on detective novels, but that was good enough to make everyone believed her.
Slowly the guards left the scene, followed by the surrounding people. As the suspect tried to blend in, running away from Yuu. Yuu at ease sneaked to his back, grabbing his shoulder with a very big grin on his face. "Oi! Who gives you the permission to leave?"
The suspect turned around and said "O..oh... now that I am looking at your face, the one I saw last night did have a very big scar on his face."
"...Is that so~?" Flipping his switch dagger out and pointing it at the suspect face. "Just how big his scar is?" Said Yuu while he was tapping the dagger right at the suspect face.
"E..ekk!! Hey! Someone help me!!" Shouted the suspect, though this time the guards were ignoring him. In fact, everybody was ignoring him. Thinking he reaped what he sowed.
Only smiling at him, Yuu said. "Oi! Leave your wallet and take off your clothes, maybe~ just maybe~ I'll let you go unharmed."
Though, Mio stopping his action. In the end after pillaging all of his money as a payment for slandering Yuu, after giving him a good beating. Soon enough, the suspect was kneeling on the ground with an unrecognizable face. "So... why are you framing me? do you have a grudge against me?" Yuu said while crackling his finger.
"Ai.. Aih chanhot telh yuh zat. (I cannot tell you that.)" Said the suspect as he was unable to speak clearly with his swollen face. "Plz jus kill meh! (Please! Just kill me!)" He continued.
Tilting his head in confusion, Yuu only brought him into a dark alley, less than three minutes, he walked out with a vein popped up on his temple while dragging the suspect with him. "He only said something about Quin or something like that." Yuu reported to Mio and Clorevica as he threw the suspect away.
Clorevica, reacted a little bit when she heard that name. "E..erm.. do you know about this Quin?" Mio Said as she was scratching the back of her neck.
"Eh... just your ordinary untouchable assassin." Said Clorevica.
"W..wha? Why assassin?! Y..Yuu!! Did you do something bad?! Speaking of which! Yuu!! Why is my body became so itchy?!" Asked Mio.
"....Mio, as far as I know, the three of us always walk together, moreover none of you guys ever letting me strolling alone... Ah! There's that damn deaf person though, you know... the one in MoonSun Inn, by the way, stop scratching that. That's an alcohol allergy." Said Yuu while he grasped Mio's hand, stopping her from scratching her body.

Sylver Seeker
After fulfilling the duty all arch necromancers are tasked with, Sylver Sezari was not expecting to ever wake up again. But he did. And after crawling his way back into the land of the living, he’s alive once again. In a strange land, a strange time, and with a strange floating screen in front of his new face. Either through plan or chance, he’s alive again, and planning to enjoy himself to his heart's content. -The story isn’t grimdark, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows either. There will be lighthearted and positive moments, as well as some sad ones. That being said, it’s a whole lot more light than dark. -This is a LITRPG story. Chapters are published every 2 days at 21:00 GMT. Author’s note:-It can get very GORY. I’m somewhat desensitized to gore and violence. So while the story isn’t full of gore for the sake of gore, it can get a little too descriptive.-The MC is a necromancer, so corpses and decay, and all the things that come with it, will be mentioned from time to time.-I’m a huge fan of Egyptian, Slavic, and Greek mythology, so expect quite a bit of that. That said, so much is altered, you’ll be hard-pressed to guess how exactly it is being used.-Despite being ‘immortal’ the MC can die. In the event he does, the story doesn’t end, simply time skips forward. Which in some cases is going to be worse than just dying.-I love plot twists, as much as I love red herrings and Chekhov guns. Deus Ex Machina’s not so much. Cover: https://angshumandhar.artstation.com/projects

Starlight Antiquities
There is a place in the galaxy that deals in antiquities of all kinds, human and non-human alike. Its inventory of artifacts is colossal as is its inventory of mercs who they hire to acquire any artifact a client may wish that is yet to come into their possession. The ill-reputable business is constantly rubbing against the changing tolerance of the Union's government, and there are many security officers who would love nothing better than to vaporize the whole place with its owners inside. Yet, there are many tasks that nobody can do better, especially in the vastness of deep space where Union law is worth less than the energy needed to display it. One of its jobs involves finding an artifact that may not only hold the future of the human race but may also disturb the balance of the whole galaxy. *** While waiting for the next season of Mandalorian and the Witcher, and rewatching Firefly for the gazillionth of time, I decided to write this space-based series. The series has some litRPG elements in it, but it does not read like one. So, you won't run into any blue screens here. Yet, I wanted to use litRPG to give another dimension to this whole story and make it as unique as possible. This is a work-in-progress. Hope to keep on improving and fixing my mistakes as I go along.
