Chapter 15- The alibi

In the novels I read, the hero always had some kind of object that could alter the appearance or change their face and aura, I could not find any artefact that could do that , so I had my grandfather make me the mask of nothingness, but what I found was the fruit of mirroring, it can when consumed could make a copy of one self which can act as a replacement but only for five days and the power of the copy will be half of the originals

In the flaming saber sect , one of the grade three vassal sect of jade sword sect, in the West side on a small mountain, there was a newly built pagoda shaped building, it was three stories high. In it Tian was sitting in lotus position and in front of him was another Tian it was the copy, but the copy had no emotion it’s eyes where cold , it contained most of Tians memories but no emotion it was wearing the same cloths as Tian and had the same artefact as Tian all but replicas, just because he was his copy he was not going to give him priced treasure, because the copy was weak and could not guaranty it could keep his artefact safe. That did not mean he will take it with him as using it can also lead to revelling his identity.

Tian picked the flaming saber sect, because it was right in between jade sword sect and the sea to the West and the sect was on a mountain which was part of a very long mountain ranges. So it was fairly isolated it was surrounded by mountains and to the one side of the flaming saber sect was a jungle which was full of spiritual beast said to contain many verities of spiritual beast. The disciple of this sect also had different kind of spiritual beast and they trained them and used them in battle.

Tian came to the flaming saber sect three days ago , tomorrow the special realm will open , all the disciple who were participating had came together at the jade sword sect and will depart together using the grand teleportation formation from the sect.

“ Tian you in their,” chensong asked as came in front of his door, Tian hurriedly absorbed his copy into his dantain and went to great his cousin who he had invited.

“ It’s not because Xi yu left the sect to her clan, that you are trying to capture a spiritual beast, right? “ asked chensong, “ where did he get that idea I thought and said “of course not, I will be staying here for one year and you can’t be here all the time and I don’t know anyone here, it will be boring so I thought might as well groom a spiritual beast “ this was my alibi, l had my cousin come with me to stay for a few days and help me hunt for a spiritual beast, tomorrow my copy and my cousin will roam the jungle looking for spiritual beast as I make my heist and when it’s over the teleportation formation will sent me to one of the caves inside the jungle where I have placed the return teleportation formation, and I will get back to the flaming saber sect and my copy will be absorbed where it will disappear after it’s time is up

“Let’s just roam around the jungle tomorrow and just search for spiritual beast then after we get some information about the jungle and spiritual beast we can attack it the following day “ I said as a precautions, so that my clone won’t die in case they had to fight a strong spiritual beast, he was not as strong as me and if they fought something out of their league then my clone had a fifty percentage chance of f death and I would like to avoid that.

After chatting for some more we went to our room and turn in for the night.

In the morning Tian looked through the window as he saw his copy leave with his cousin, Tians heart was beating a little faster, he was excited and nervous. He turned to look at the formation on the floor he had to wait until Qin yun set up the it’s other formation in the special realm and I can use it to travel to the realm and the formation in the room will disappear .

The plan was fairly simple myself and Wen Liang will use the formation at our side to enter the special realm after Qin Yun set it up on the other side, then use the poison gas to knock out every disciple in the realm even Qin to protect his identify ,after we take the antidote pill. We will then make our way to the pyramid and on the way take out disciple who are not affected by the poison, I don’t believe that every one will nocked out they were the strongest disciple in the sect some will have some sort of protection. But the poison will decrease their number, after we reach the lotus I wiil use the duplicate I made of the golden lotus to replace the real one, making the duplicate was fairly simple but the for the duplicate to have the same aura as the real one will make it authentic, for it what I used was in alchemy alchemist uses a gade slip of kind to capture the aura of the herbs to study them, they could store the affect for some I day at most before it was lost. I used jade slip of that kind to make a duplicate, when I have the original I could use it to create as many duplicate as I wanted. After acquiring the original golden lotus we will travel opposite side of the gate and tore an opening in the formation to escape, this will alert the immortal because we tampered with the protective formation and because we don’t have the participants seal . When the immortal come they could detect the aura of the real golden lotus even if we store it in our storage ring as it is a natural treasure only storage item that could protect against natural treasure could hide their aura but they were hard to find as they could not store anything alse and will stick out like sore thumb in presence of natural energy.

Tian was going over his plan, when the formation light up , Tian cleared his mind with a look of deep determination he went inside formation and activate it.
