《(OLD VER.) TRX's Adventures》Level 1-2

Everyone listened attentively to the words of TRX, Pointy and Blocky, especially Pointy for the eloquent way he spoke. They also showed their powers and the coin, to confirm a little the veracity of their words.
- Let me get this straight. - Mathias said. - Are you telling me that I have to search the world for orbs in order to access a continent that is invisible to ordinary people and create a barrier on it so that no one will harm the Tree of Life, as well as prevent a guy named Martin Köhn from reaching the continent?
- Mmm... That's very far-fetched. - said the priest. - But they are telling the truth. I don't get it. Although... So Mathias must save the world by God's command? It's incredible, but I still don't understand why.
At that, Mathias' mother knelt down while crying and said:
- This is unbelievable... Mathias, from the day I found you at the door of my house I knew you were special.... You proved it more when I saw that you had psychic powers, but now... Mathias...
The lady pulled Mathias close and hugged him, while she was crying. Out of nowhere, Samatha's mother said:
- It's fine and all, but... What about our daughter, what happened to her?
TRX, Blocky and Pointy wanted to say something, but in the end said nothing. They seemed to be embarrassed about something.
- You guys had something to do with it, didn't you? - said his father, furious again. - If so, say it at once or you're going to-!
- Even if you threaten to kill us, it would be impossible for a human being like you to do so. - said Pointy, interrupting him. - And so... That meteorite was supposed to have a property...
- Meteor! - Samantha's parents said in unison.
- Errr... Yes, that's where we came... - Pointy answered them, a little embarrassed, stopped to float behind Mathias, as if he was hiding, and continued. - That meteorite had a property that was supposed to give powers to the Hero by wounding himself with it in order to have a power to help him in his journey... But we didn't count on the fact that the Hero already had powers and that the meteorite was going to be destroyed by its collision and...
- A fragment hit that girl and now she's sick because her body will not be able to resist the amount of energy that was transferred to her, her body is doing everything possible to survive, but a normal person can't survive this, so Roundy is helping her and.... Oof. - Blocky said all that quickly, interrupting Pointy.
- What? - Samantha's father shouted, getting up from the table.
- But it will be fine, we assure you. - said TRX. - Roundy's healing is... Special. It is much better than the medicine you currently have.
This, for some reason, reassured Samantha's parents... Seriously, why? And so... It's true, I didn't describe how Mathias' mother was, nor how the priest was, nor how Samantha's parents were... Well. Mathias' adoptive mother had a fair complexion and black hair with a braid. The priest was somewhat similar to her, only he had short white hair, a beard and wore glasses, and looked old but trustworthy, yes.
Samantha's parents were elderly, so to speak. Her mother was 60 years old at the time and her father was 64 years old, and Samantha was the youngest of three siblings.
Her father, physically, was not very fit to say the least. Besides, he had a lot of gray hair. He also had a beard. He looked older than he was.

Her mother had dark orange hair, with some gray, and she was also short. In addition, her face had very few wrinkles, so she looked a little younger than she was, unlike her husband.
I won't describe your clothes, I don't want to. Don't look at me like that!
Well, let's continue.
Samantha regained consciousness after a while. She stared at the ceiling of the room for a few seconds. At first she thought everything that had happened was a dream until she realized where she was. She turned to get out of bed and the first thing she saw was Roundy lying next to her.
- You fainted and I came to help you.
- ...I see.
- So... Do you feel weird?
- Yes, I think... I feel a little dizzy.
- Ok... And tell me, do you know why you can see us as we are?
- Just tell me. - replied Samantha, who knew Roundy knew why she could see them like they were. She realized that by the way Roundy spoke.
- ...O-okay. - Roundy became a little nervous at Samantha's quick, cold, disinterested response, as well as at the look on her face. - I think it's because... Ummm... The meteorite was to make a stabbing weapon and stick it in the hero.... But there was no need to do that since he already had powers.... We were told that he wouldn't have any and since he does, it won't do anything to him... And so... But you didn't have them, and now it seems that you have them, but I don't know what kind...
- What?
At that, Samantha began to feel a pain in her chest.... And she felt nauseous. She felt as if something horrible was approaching the house. She could also see a very tall humanoid silhouette in a vision, moving strangely and approaching the house.
- W-What's wrong with you? - Roundy asked Samantha. - ...You're sweating, cold... And shivering...
- It's... I don't know...
As soon as she said that, she covered himself with the sheet.
"I'm not going to ask her anymore.... Although... No, I better not."
- Do you think you can get out? - asked Roundy.
- No... I mean, yes, I'm going out now. - she said, but it didn't look like she could leave.
- It's... You'd better lie down for a while longer, okay?
- ...It's okay.
Samantha listened to him and stayed. Roundy left the room.
The first thing Roundy encountered was that there was a wall of ice in front of everyone (Mathias and Samantha's family.), and that a gray-skinned humanoid monster had its arm stuck in it. TRX and Blocky were also behind the ice. Pointy was analyzing the situation, flying from place to place. Mathias, who was kneeling in a corner, had taken a blow to his abdomen, his clothes were torn in that part. In addition, he had made a psychic barrier, green in color.
- What's going on? - asked Roundy.
- The enemy made his first move, that happened. - said Pointy. - He's trying to assassinate the Hero.
That monster pulled his hand out of the ice, breaking it. Roundy noticed something when he saw that. Those people were completely paralyzed mid-action, so to speak.
- And why aren't they moving? - asked Roundy.
- Mathias Donovan... The Hero... And the Saviors... Are immune to my power... Interesting. - said the monster, while raising his left hand, which had a kind of purple smoke around it.
- What is that in his hand? - asked Roundy.

- I don't know, but that seems to represent if his power is active! - Mathias shouted.

- We seem to have arrived at almost the same hypothesis. - said Pointy. - He stops the actions of living things by doing that.
"Anyone would think that his power is that of stopping time, but no. It does not stop time, time continues its course. In this case it just makes living things stop whatever action they were performing, and they don't seem to notice unless they see the time. And it has a radius of a hundred meters, I feel it in the atmosphere.... This is, indeed, impressive.... Although he may not be as powerful as our past enemies, his power can be fearsome.... And wasn't Mathias supposed to only know how to use Telekinesis? Why is he with a psychic shield? Wait... Could it be that he has...?" - Pointy.
He had created a PSI Shield.
Mathias, in addition to having Telekinesis, could also create psychic weapons or PSI weapons.... Yes, it would be better to call them PSI Constructs, since he can create other things... They can also be seen by other people, but only the outlines of the created object can be seen... But the point is that Mathias discovered that he could use this also when he was four years old.
One day Mathias wanted to cut a piece of paper, which had a drawing he had made. It was kind of ugly. Since he didn't have a scissors with him, he wanted to "play" at cutting the paper with his hands. He did. It came out like blades on his fingers and he cut the paper. He got scared and told his mom. His mom, instead of being scared to see that he cut the paper with his fingers, congratulated him.
He didn't tell his brother about it, he found out about it when, one day, while they were talking in the living room (he was sitting on the couch), he asked Mathias to hand him the newspaper that was on the table. Mathias did so. It came out as a somewhat transparent pink hand (the lines on its edges were more noticeable than the rest), took the paper and handed it to the priest.
- My God, what is that? - The priest got scared, made an praying and called his sister, who was cooking and told him what happened.
- Nah, don't worry. I'm sure that gift was given to him by God. Thanks to him I am sure you will achieve great things.
Mathias also heard this, and it stuck in his mind.
Returning to the present, that monster approached Mathias, who was still with his PSI Shield.
- Indeed, it is very resistant... But do you think it will last long enough?
After finishing those words, that monster attacked Mathias' shield. A barricade of blows, they were so fast that it was difficult to perceive them, it was only noticeable that it sparked.
Mathias stared at him for a moment and shouted:
- Hey! Are you guys going to stay and watch or what?
- Indeed. - Pointy replied.
- Our job is to guide you, not to help you directly, I think. - said Blocky. - I'm sorry.
- Besides, you're the only one who can defeat those kinds of creatures. - said TRX. - Since you are supposed to be the Hero.
Mathias didn't say anything, he just thought about what to do at that moment. At that, he decided to cover the monster with a barrier. It worked. The barrier was blue. TRX and the others watched what Mathias did. At that moment Samantha came out of the room and also saw, peeking in the door, scared what was going on.
"Wait, I... I saw that monster... It can't be." She said to herself as she peeked out the door.
Mathias tried to crush it with the barrier with all his strength (he made the gesture of crushing something with his hands), but he could not.
The monster somehow broke free. That surprised everyone. When it broke free, it jumped towards Mathias and they went through the wall.
No one was to be found on the streets. The houses were somewhat distant from each other. Silence reigned (this due to the monster's ability, in part). Outside, Mathias, who had some wounds and scratches, was being strangled by the monster.
- TRX, we should do something! - said Roundy, worried, who had already rejoined the group. They were standing in the hole in the wall, caused by the attack, next to some debris.
- No... He's supposed to get over this. - said TRX. - But it's true... We should help him... I'm worried.
- But we shouldn't. - said Pointy. - What will the Almighty say to us if we do?
Mathias could not breathe. He was helpless. The monster was bringing its claws closer to Mathias' abdomen, without saying anything to him.
- Heh... This was easy, the master will be pleased. - said the monster, and thought: "This was really easier than expected. I... I expected that the Hero would have had a unique power and such, but this? Materialization isn't really a Divine Power..."
After hearing those words, out of instinct, he tried to do something to avoid being killed and, thanks to this, with his PSI Constructs power he created spikes that came out of the ground, piercing the monster from the soles of its feet to its head.... They were strong enough to do it.
The monster perished brutally. Part of its brain was on the tip of one of the spikes. After a while, the spikes disappeared. The corpse was incinerated out of nowhere with purple flames.
When the creature perished, everyone in the village was able to move again (although no one realized what had happened.). Five minutes had passed since they were paralyzed. Mathias limped back into the house through the hole (his leg was harmed). Everyone found themselves looking sideways at the hole.
- W-what just happened? - Samantha's father said, looking at the rest.
Mathias had just entered the house through the hole.
- Mathias! What the...? - said his mother. - You're hurt!
Roundy quickly approached him and began to heal him. A greenish light surrounded the Hero in those moments. His wounds closed. TRX used her powers to be able to fix the broken wall while Pointy said this:
- Well, now you see. These things are going to happen to you from now on.
- But what happened? - said the priest. - Say it, right now!
- A-a horrible monster appeared out of nowhere and attacked Mathias. - said Samantha, who had stood peeking in the doorway.
- Ah, yes... She stayed conscious all this time. - said Pointy. - I don't know how, but she was unaffected by that creature's ability. The thing is, we seem to be running out of time and this attack proves it. Maybe Martin has already got some orbs, in that case, we should take them from him. We need to leave now. Mathias, say goodbye to them.
- Hey... Ummm... This is a bit rushed, don't you think?
- You are right. - said Blocky. - But we have to go now, the fate of the world is in your hands, I think.
- Ok...
Mathias went to say goodbye to everyone. TRX and the others left.
- Matt... Are you really going to leave? - Samantha asked him, a little sad.
- I'm still processing all this, but yes. - he replied. - If a monster just attacked me, that means what TRX and the others said is true. I have to leave.
- I understand... It's ok... Take care of yourself...
After about fifteen minutes Mathias came out of the house. TRX and the others were waiting for him, Blocky and Roundy were looking at the starry sky.
- What now? - Mathias asked them.
- Can you wait a little while? We are making preparations for the trip. - said TRX.
- Huh? Well.
The four formed a circle and began to glow. Mathias was absorbed in watching this.
- That's it, we can go. - said TRX.
- Oh, reall-?
- Wait!
Samantha screamed as she ran to Mathias.
- Huh?
- ...I'm going too.
They all stared at her strangely.
- What? D-Don't look at me like that, I feel ashamed...
- OK, but... What do you mean you're coming too?
- I already asked my parents for permission and they agreed, and my father gave me a credit card to pay for whatever we need.
- What!? ...How?
"Wait a second... Why do we need to ask for permission if we're literally adults? Also, how come they gave us permission without hesitation...? I guess they thought she must be a part of this since she wasn't affected by the monster...? But they didn't see it.... Wait, they even gave her money.... Never mind."
As Mathias was thinking, TRX came up to him and tugged at his pants.
- Huh?
- Let's go now, if something happens to her we won't be responsible. - TRX said, but she laughed, so it didn't feel too bad.
- Ok. - Mathias said to TRX and then turned to Sam to tell him. - Let's go then... Wait, what? (Realizing what TRX had said.)
- Nothing... Well, we have to go back to the forest, so your relatives won't see. - said Pointy.
- Why? - said Samantha.
- ...It's hard to explain. - said Blocky.
- Yes, let's go now. - said TRX.
- It's all right, - Sam and Mat said in unison.
They went back to where they had met TRX and the others.
- Are you ready? - asked TRX.
- Yes! - they all said in unison.
- OK, wait, I have a present for Mathias. - TRX said, pulling a bag out of nowhere. That bag contained a strange looking fruit. She handed it to Mathias.
- Eat it. - said TRX.
- What? - Mathias said, with a strange tone, as if in surprise and... I don't know what else.
- Do it, Mat. - Samantha said. - I don't think they'll give it to you for no reason, maybe give you a new ability or something.
- Oh, ok...
Mathias took the fruit TRX handed him with his right hand and took a bite, chewed and swallowed it. It tasted very strange, but it was neither delicious nor horrible. Other than that, he felt a strange tingling on his tongue and inside his head, but he thought nothing of it. He ate the whole fruit.
- Well, now let's go, let's get in a circle. - said Pointy.
Nobody said anything, they just did it.
"Wait, this means we're going to teleport, right? No way, what a thrill!" Thought Samantha, who liked to read science and fiction and fantasy books.... Or well, actually those were her favorite genres. She liked to read anything, really.
...What happened is that they all seemed to have fainted. They fell, but... The moment they hit the ground, they were not hurt and no noise was heard.
After a while, they had disappeared without a trace.

The watcher of universe and stuff.
The most devastating thing to an eternal being must be boredom. If nothing can change you, how can you yourself change? Sometimes you have to learn that the hard way. I should point out that there are multiple lead characters and they will all have their own personalities and motivations. While the story will focus more on our MC Trey, you can expect multiple POV switches. If you do not like POV switches, this might not be for you. My first book. If anyone will ever read this, be so kind as to leave a comment. Even, if all you say is an insult. As long as I can improve this work by your comment, it's all fine. One thing’s for sure. I will keep writing as if my reader can handle curse words without curling into a little ball and repeatedly saying: "Leave my safe-space alone, you monster". Therefore, you can expect some profanity.
