Chapter 3.5 - Love at First Feel
On the day 05 of Irt I reached with my mother to a small village. My mother Feng Yin said that this would be our new home. What I doubt as normal magicians tend to despise us, Battlemages , saying things like being dumb, ridiculous or stupid by magic we use for close combat.
They call us fake wizards, mock us and have already expelled us of villages, as the last time that I called a place of home.
And like i thought, in this village not will be different. When they discovered the Crest that represents us, a golden fist wrapped in blue flames, they looked at us with pity and remorse. Remorse for accepting a family like ours, like there were reason for this.
On a day of Isse I met him. A little boy one year old newest that me. He dont looking at me with disdain or pity., but with joy , with warm and affectionate eyes. He approached me and asked if I wanted to play with him. I was scared, is he doing it to play a prank and laugh at me?
" W-why you want to play with me?"- [Kuan]

"WHY ?"- [Kuan]- I shouted at him.
"Because all the boys of my age are helping their parents and do not want to play with me."- [???]

How strange, he did not mocked me and still want to play with me.

With that I made my first friend and promised to stay strong to protect my friend, not to lose him just like Mom lost Dad. To be with him forever.

Every day afternoon we played until dinner. In another normal day for us, Kaerus started crying while appeared to be in pain.
"Huh, Kaerus, Kaerus what happened ?"[Kuan]

The other day we met, I was worried, but he seemed to be fine. However his eyes were different, I can not say how, but they were not of the child I met, were of an adult who has seen and experienced many things. I was desperate, do something bad happened to him? Does any magician used brainwashed him to laugh and humiliate me?
But he acted normally, the only difference was his eyes. Kaerus until became more warm and with each passing day I became more and more excited to find him, hoping that the next day came faster so I could see him again.
The years passed and we began to see for less time. I asked him why and he replied:
"It's because I'm training with my father, he is teaching me the art of the sword."-[Kaerus]
Then I realized why Kaerus not looked pityingly at me, he will never be a magician. I knew he was special, he will never hurt me. Because he has a warrior's heart, just like me.
So inside me I grew a flame, a fire feelings. I have to protect you at any cost. I started training determined and even asked for more lessons for my mother. I will protect you Kaerus.

Now when We could see us, Kaerus and I walked holding hands, I was embarrassed at first, but it means I will be closer to him, so it's okay. Sometimes we practiced sparring together, it is good but his punches are not strong.
With training from my mother I became stronger, I learned all the basic techniques of our family, missing only fully complete the three advanced techniques, learning everything available. With her permission got easy missions where I could do them without fail to see Kaerus a single day. I need to get stronger, but if it is not at his side then it is meaningless.
My mom teases me, saying I'm preparing myself to be a good wife to Kaerus, it's not like I liked him, Aaarg, when I think about it I can not calm my heart. All your fault mother, speaking strange things.
Looking at my Rank Plate , that I got to be able to pick up missions, I'm happy with my strength, but I need to get even stronger.

The village is doing a festival to celebrate the enrollment of the mayor's daughter in an academy in the capital, well, that does not interest me, as she does not come close to the Kaerus will be all right, and if she arrives ... All of a sudden him stop the kiss, moving away from me. In the background the fireworks explode lighting up the night sky with colors of green, red and blue. Red, so beautiful red that match his violet eyes. Eyes that seem to penetrate your soul. Kaerus then starts talking pulling out of my trance.
" I like you too, Kuan"- [Kaerus]
We kissed a few times more until the festival ends. Then I went into my house and he to his. Lying in my bed waiting for sleep to come, I begin to remember my Kaerus and I blush.
Oh, my Kaerus, I'll protect you forever, forever, forever, forever , forever, forever, forever, forever , forever, forever, forever, forever, forever, forever, forever , forever, forever, forever, forever, forever and EVER. With this thoughts sandman comes and I finally sleep.
