Vermillion continued reading the tips on how to get popularity on Twitter, he gradually understood the basics of getting popular. “If I’m gonna get popular, then I might as well work on my influence.” he said. “The website said I should make a bio first, maybe that can make people notice me.” he said as he click on the ‘View Profile’ button. He then clicked on the button that said ‘Edit Profile’. He started writing his bio, with many suggestions on his head, he decided on one that said “You can’t spell followers without a few letters of Flower!”. After he finished typing out his Bio he tried one advice he read before, following random people. He thought about it as he went to the ‘Who to Follow’ tab and just click ‘Follow’ on every single profile that popped up. “This should get me exposure” he smiled as he followed more people.

After a long day of following random people only a small number of them followed back which made Vermillion a little disappointed but nonetheless he didn’t lose hope and optimism. He got the urge to go to the bathroom and do his private thing.

After he finished that he sat on his chair again only to see that he reached 10 followers, this excited Vermillion as he stood up from his chair and shouted “YES! Ten followers! Even if it's not a lot it's still something!” he said that as he got another follower, this made Vermillion more hopeful and optimistic for the future!

He quickly calmed down and sat on his chair again and started following even more random people “This seems to be working, for now at least”. his stomach grumbled as he checked his computer time to see it’s dinner time,

After he made dinner and ate it, he went to his computer monitor upstairs to see that he got 3 notifications, Vermillion got really excited after seeing that, he then clicked on his notifications to see a reply, a retweet and a like on one of his tweets:

When Vermillion saw the reply, he immediately replied to the user, he only replied with a smiley face as he knows that is enough. After he finished replying to that twitter user, he went and clicked on the ‘Home’ button.

His timeline was full of people’s selfies and people arguing, he didn’t know what was going, there were new tweets being posted every second and it kind of annoyed him, but for the sake of being popular, he ignored it and checked some tweets to reply to.

He saw a tweet that interested him

After Vermillion saw this tweet, he quickly checked the likes and retweets of it to see that it only has around 20 likes and 43 retweets which may not seem like a lot but to Vermillion they were indeed a lot, after he saw that he quickly also like and retweeted it as he only now got informed of this fact.

He saw another tweet that interested him about video games, even if he hasn’t played a video game in a long time he still enjoys them a lot and wanted to see the latest and hottest new video games this year.

It was Vermillion’s first time hearing of this game, he thought about buying it. For him, it looks good and matches his video game taste.

He went on the game’s website and quickly bought it for $59.99 which is the standard price, there was also a ‘Legend Edition’ and a ‘Premium Edition’. Those editions were really expensive and costed $79.99 and $120 respectively.

He quickly tried to announce it on his Twitter account by tweeting:

After he typed his tweet, he checked for any grammar mistakes and then quickly posted it, he wanted to type more as the joke wasn’t over yet but he couldn’t because of the character limits “Ugh character limits, i wish you could tweet longer tweets…”. He searched on google how to tweet longer and found a website that said you simply can’t make tweets longer, he quickly gave up on the idea of him making longer tweets. “That’s bullshit” he exclaimed.

As he checked his timeline one final time for today he found at that it’s already night time and he is getting sleepy, but he saw one last thing that caught his interest before he turned off his computer he saw someone tweet a picture of a funny looking cat that looked shocked and Vermillion got a good laugh out of this picture.

He hadn’t laughed this hard since forever! He saw the likes and retweets to see that it doesn’t have a lot of of likes and retweets, 5 likes and 11 Retweets to be exact.

Vermillion thought that this tweet doesn’t have nearly the attention that it deserves to get so he quickly liked and retweeted it and also followed the person who posted this tweet as this tweet was retweeted by a random user who he follows.

Quickly after that he went on google to search for more funny cat pictures to see a lot of them as they seemed limitless! He stayed up all night looking at them.

3:45AM

Vermillion has been looking at cat pictures for hours, he also learned that they are something called a ‘meme’, he didn’t really find out much detail about memes as he was really tired, but looking at those cat pictures really made him have a blast!

Quickly after that he turned off his PC and went to the bathroom to let out a leak and went to his bed to sleep “I should find out more about this ‘Meme’ thing, its really great and funny, welp! I will look more into it tomorrow” after he said that his vision turned blurry and soon after snore sounds could be heard from his bedroom.
