《RE:Origin》C9 Devoted Teacher

"Who could have expected that my cute little sister would be a magician? This humble one never expected it for sure."
"Muu, Ryu-nii!" Ayumi pouted at his teasing words.
"Oh, why is this little magician pouting like that? That won't do, you shouldn't ruin that pretty face of yours. Here, let me help you with that." He then put his hands on both of her cheeks before using his thumbs and raised up her lips, turning her pouting mouth to an awkward smile.
"There, keep that smile on your face. After all, the world shall know your beauty and be ruined by it!" Enryu grinned as he said. Unlike his normal grin however, his face looked more like a crazy person at the moment. The students slowly put distance between them upon noticing that. But of course he was just joking, earning him giggles from Ayumi. That was enough to put a smile on his face.
He noticed she was quite nervous upon being the center of attention. Before Isamu can take the chance to get closer to his sister, Enryu stepped forward as he smoothly took the role as her brother which threw his chance of making a better impression of him on her out of the window. If it was her friends, he wouldn't mind. But this high school student named Isamu is different, he definitely has a nefarious goal in his mind. He never met the latter before, but just by listening to his sister's complaint back then, that was enough to put this guy onto his blacklist. He may be biased but that was expected, he IS technically her brother.
Plus, the boy already has someone at his side. But looking at it now, it appears that he couldn't care less about her which is very unfortunate. Poor girl, she fell in love with the wrong guy. But perhaps, there might be more into her story. Either way, he is not interested to find that out.

Before long, it is finally his turn. No matter how hard he tried to stay low and hidden, now it wouldn't matter as everyone's eyes were already on him. The students started whispering to each other as he took a step forward. With his sharp hearing, he can hear what they were whispering about.
"Isn't that Ayumi's elder brother? So he was also summoned to this world."
"I thought he left the classroom before the magic circle appeared, but guess not."
"Who cares about all that! Ah, since Ayumi's status can be considered monstrous in this world's term, maybe he also got one?"
"That's indeed plausible, they are siblings after all."
"I hope he got even more amazing status than that jerk, look at him being all smug about it. Disgusting."
"Exactly, my dude. I'm lost for word at how the girls were still interested in him despite his shitty personality. If you're not a girl, he would ignore your entire existence. Yet, look at the girls surrounding him."
"I feel you."
It seems that due to his sister's result, people also have high expectations for him as well. Ignoring their jealousy toward Isamu aside, it does make sense if his status were also on par with Ayumi. But unfortunately for them, he won't be meeting their expectations.

"What, his status is not that much different than ours."
"True, I thought he would also be in the three digits group but apparently not."
"Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed."
Just as he expected, the hype that was born from his sister quickly dies down the moment they see his status. With just a quick glance at the crowd, he even noticed Isamu sneering at him while no one was looking. The disappointment on the princess's face for a split second was also worth mentioning. With this, Enryu was assured that they wouldn't be putting their attention on him for a while now, he should be out of their scope just as he wanted.

His little sister wasn't as lucky as him but he could make do with it. Perhaps, this might actually work in his favor. With that thought in mind, he calmly stepped down the stage as if the crowd's attention on him didn't matter.
"That's amazing, Ryu-nii!" As if she wasn't affected by the crowd one bit, Ayumi earnestly praised him the moment he returned. The pure happiness radiated from her visibly affected him as his lips curved into a smile, breaking apart the stoic look he had moments ago. Looking at her, a mischief thought suddenly crossed his mind.
"No, this humble one apologies that I have brought shame to you, My Lady, the Great Magician," Enryu said while bowing his head to her like a servant would to their master. His movement doesn't seem to be stiff as one would expect, it was as if he had done this before. Looking at her emotional rollercoaster from happiness to embarrassment within seconds, he couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
"Muu, stop it. It's embarrassing, Ryu-nii!" She said while covering her face with her hands, clearly embarrassed. If one looked even closer, they would notice her ears slowly turning to light pink from the embarrassment. To be able to see this side of her again in a while, Enryu thought that was enough of mischief for the day as he quickly returned back to his normal posture. The students that were closer to them react as if they didn't see anything, though a few of them couldn't help but sneak a glance at the embarrassed Ayumi at the corner of their view.
Right after Enryu leaves the stage, the disappointed crowd immediately direct their gaze toward their teacher who was walking nervously toward the magic tool. She was worried, after all, once she put her hand on the orb, they would know everything about her. What if they found out her attributes were lower than her students? There's no way her students would continue listening to her words after that. Though she didn't know what kind of attributes she may have, she couldn't help but become restless at the thought.
However, there's no turning back now that she already arrived in front of the magic tool. With everyone's gaze on her, she has no choice but to slowly reach out her hand toward the orb. It was as if the time itself had slowed down in her view, but eventually her hand finally rested on top of the orb as a magical hologram quickly materialized. Without even looking at her status just yet, the teacher desperately prays in her heart that her status wasn't that much different than her students before looking up.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***
