《The Strongest Armor》Chapter 7: The Journey Beyond the Four Walls and the Interesting Girl

Ten years later, Li Zimu is now ten years old.
‘Curses, if only time passed that fast.’
Today, Li Zimu is officially ten months old.
And he finally leaves his room for the first time since birth, to visit the.. Dining room.
His furthest journey so far resulted in him being downstairs, where he currently is, sitting on the table looking at the feast before him. Yet in his bowl was only milk. Various types of beast milk.
Today was a celebration for his tenth month. In these ten months, he has been practising every day. Babbling and crawling around his giant room.
A month ago, he finally managed to take his first step. As a result… His parent’s loving flirting worsened as they spoiled him even more and increased his beast milk intake.
On another note, his cultivation has increased to Channel Opening lv 6 with 69 Meridians currently open.
“Ah, my adorable wife, I missed you!”
His biggest gain is his increase in speed when his Basic Cultivation Method leveled up to-
“Hehe, my handsome hubby, I missed you too!”
Leveled up to 4, which increases the amount of experience required by a whopping amount.
“What are you talking about? You’re the prettiest woman in the world! Which lucky man does this beauty belong to?”
“You of course, darling.”
Li Zimu’s expression seemed to turn a few shades darker as veins popped up on his plump little face.
Desperately, he looked around for a distraction from the disgustingly sweet couple beside him. His ears will rot if this keeps up.
Turning his head, he noticed even the loyal old Bai’s expression was a little unnatural. The servants around also had their face twitch slightly as they averted their eyes.
The people in this room shared one thought.

‘‘‘If only ears could be turned off…’’’
From the corner of his eye, Li Zimu noticed a little head poking out behind old Bai.
A little girl, 4-5 years old, was looking at him with curiosity. Noticing his stare, she yelped in surprise and hid behind old Bai like a frightened little bunny.
Seeing this, old Bai chuckled and brought her over.
“Young master, this here is my granddaughter, Li Yun (meaning cloud), I wanted her to be as free as the clouds. But here she is, stuck with me. Her parents passed away tragically two years ago. I hope you’ll take care of her in the future, you two can be playmates and train together.”
‘Grandpa bai, I’m barely a toddler. I didn’t need to know the whole story, I was just curious. Stop trying to set me up with your granddaughter, ok?
There’s still time in the future when I’m supposed to understand human speech please.’
Turning back to his milk, Li Zimu could only hear the sounds of his parents beside him.
The annoyance and rage bottled up inside him after ten months of this torture finally erupted and he, a previously grown man, threw his first tantrum.
… and spoke his first word.
“Sdaopfu!” (stop)
“““....”””
Silence. Everyone stopped moving as if time was frozen and stared at him.
‘Oops’
Just as Li Zimu was worrying whether it was inappropriate or something, the suffocating awkward silence finally broke.
First came his mother’s sloppy wet kisses.
“Kyaaaaa my baby said his first words!”
Then his father’s embarrassed face with his emotions written all over his forehead in bold. I want to hug him but I’m embarrassed. I don’t want to break my image of a manly man.
‘Bro, you were flirting so damn hard a minute ago and now you know embarrassment?!’

Then Grandpa Bai brought out a crystal ball and started cursing about something recording and unexpected moment.
‘Don’t try so hard to record my first word! I know you got my first step on record!’
The servants eventually unfroze too and Li Zimu could hear all sorts of gossip and whispers.
“Damn I bet he would say mama as his first world.”
“Haha, you lost. You owe me ten gold!”
“Hey you bet on papa! You lose too!”
‘No, don’t gamble on me! I’m not your entertainment!’
With all the rebutting firing of in his head, his facial expression still remained the same. Snuggling up to his mother, Li Zimu acted tired with a little pout.
Seeing this adorable reaction, Lan Zhenya (mother) pulled him out of his baby chair and started to carry him back upstairs.
Li Zimu, enjoying the snuggle suddenly stiffened.
‘Fuck Grandpa Bai, why are you bringing her up too?’

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job. Still, the scars from his childhood made Omari unable to live a dull life. Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
