Chapter 13: YAMAC Tournament Begins
Mitchiel arrived at his mansion completely sweaty, with bruises and wounds throughout his body.
His training had been intense or even borderline insane.
His clothes were ripped and torn, revealing a six-pack abs and muscles in his arms when he flexed. His legs were also a lot sturdier.
His leg muscles could be seen clearly as well. Mitchiel was also four inches taller than before.
His face had some bruises as well. He had an accomplished look in his face. The moment he saw his father and sister, the maids and even the butlers, he told them about his accomplishment.
“I did it!!” exclaimed Mitchiel. “I managed to reach intermediate level in two of the three defensive techniques that Reige was teaching me. And I reached the near-end of the beginning stage for the third defensive technique. It took everything I got but I managed my best”
Everyone was proud and happy with how things were progressing. They were all happy at the turn of events and at how determined Mitchiel have become.
Even though they knew what powerful Martial Artists waited in the YAMAC, they couldn’t help but feel excited.
-----------
Mitchiel did not share his knowledge with how Reige trained him for the defensive techniques. Had he told his father and sister, they would have been against it, and he would have been forced to do some mediocre practice.
Mitchiel’s father and sister would have had good reasons to be against the training regimen Mitchiel just took.
It wasn’t a training a normal person (with a functional mantra) would do, and it certainly wasn’t the sort of training a person (with a broken mantra) would do.
It was an inhumane training.
It requires a fierceness and courage that The Emperor never thought he had inside of himself. The training was so tough, he thought he would die, and this time by his own poor decision, but Reige kept on pushing him forward and kept on giving him motivation.
The training required fighting all the wild animals in the forest, not only that, there were some unknown creatures that Reige purposely added to the forest and did not warn Mitchiel about beforehand.
Ogres. And they weren’t the only ones. Deep within the forest, on the mountain range, were the mountain trolls, Mitchiel had to fight them too. Doing all that fighting every day put a big toll on Mitchiel’s weak body and caused it to grow stronger by each passing day.
Reige did not want Mitchiel to get used to fighting wild animals only, therefore he attacked Mitchiel whenever he could as a surprise attack. The surprise attacks of Reige’s were hard to deal with, since if Reige land a single attack on Mitchiel, Mitchiel would not get any food.

Therefore, Mitchiel had an incentive to work hard and sharpen his awareness of his surroundings.
To make matters worse, Mitchiel had a daily task to do every day before dinner.
To break a gigantic boulder that Reige would choose, in only 30 minutes. If he couldn’t, he would not get any food.
The boulders were very large and the pack of wolves around each boulder Reige chose, did not help Mitchiel at all!!
Mitchiel went hungry for three days due to his inability to break the large boulders. He did not possess enough strength to do so, but as the harsh training continued, Mitchiel gained strength.
The hawks and eagles that were flying around were tamed by Reige and were instructed to instruct him if Mitchiel was ever taking a break from fighting the wild animals.
So, Mitchiel would get no sleep or food if he did not do as told.
The multiple surprise attacks by Reige caused Mitchiel to develop awareness of his surroundings even in his sleep.
Something he did not possess in the past, since he never needed it, for he couldn’t be harmed or killed.
Mitchiel came to understand his own shortcomings. Those his current body have, and those his previous body had.
Awareness of surroundings was not Mitchiel’s strong suit, although he paid attention to his surrounding when he was in a fight, he never bothered to care much for his surroundings if he wasn’t.
Mitchiel came to learn that, a true Martial Artist must always keep a lookout on their surroundings even when not in a fight.
This was something which, Mitchiel, was not taught in his previous life.
He could heal from any wound at such a young age, that the martial arts masters teaching him how to fight, skipped most of the basics and only taught him advanced level attacks and dodging techniques.
That was it.
Mitchiel realizes that anyone [any of the Supremes or even someone that work in the palace, etc.] could have entered his bedroom secretly in his palace (400 years ago), and since Mitchiel was a hard sleeper, it wouldn’t be strange if that person had been experimenting on his body to figure out any weaknesses of his regenerative abilities he possessed then.
It wouldn’t be too difficult to believe that the person that murdered Mitchiel was planning it for months or even years, searching for the one method that could kill an ever-regenerative entity and eventually finding a method that could.
It wouldn’t be surprising if the method was even obscured to Mitchiel himself.

Mitchiel shuddered at such a realization. He never thought he could have such a shortcoming.
He would now correct his naivety and ignorance, for the individuals at the top must not be ignorant.
Ignorance was only for the weak and simple minded. Once you grow up, you must gained awareness.
He vowed secretly in his mind that he will break the weaknesses he once possessed, one by one and become a perfect entity closer to what perfection truly is. Omnipotence.
Mitchiel’s masters knew about Mitchiel’s dreams but they always laughed it off as a child’s notion and always reminded Mitchiel that no human can ever truly gain true omnipotence no matter how powerful, grandiose, or how fast they regenerated through anything.
At the end of the day, they would be human, just like anyone else. It has always been those statements that bothered Mitchiel and drove him to train harder and harder to do his best. Mitchiel always drove himself to do his absolute best at everything. That is one of his mottos.
The reason Mitchiel did not do his best by using his advanced level Martial Arts attacks he knew of on Tymol, when he was fighting, wasn’t because he did not feel the need to or not wanting to do his best.
But because he was unable to.
He didn’t have the amount of strength necessary to use them.
Even now, after doing all that training with Reige, he was still unable to use his advanced Martial Arts Attacks.
Mitchiel’s previous martial arts masters managed to teach him the advanced Martial Arts Attacks while skipping most of the basics by using a special method.
They had the Emperor send light magic throughout his body and made him strengthen key areas of his body using light magic.
They made him focus so much light magic on the key areas, that the key areas naturally became powerfully strong.
It was sort of like training a part of your body for three years and developing muscles and strength, with the only difference being that, for the Emperor, it would only take him six months at most to reach that strength by using his light magic.
It wasn’t an easy feat to accomplish.
It requires proper disciple of the body and proper mana control. It was such a dangerous way of training the body that the Emperor could have had his mantra broken, if the method didn’t kill him first.
The Emperor took all that risk to reach the top as the youngest person to do so.
The youngest of all the Supremes, hence, the most talented and the one with the most potential.
The emperor, even though worked hard to become the strongest and most powerful of the Supremes, truth be told, he never had to work too hard.
He was gifted with immense talents, looks, luck, sexiness, magic, Martial Arts Understanding, money, and also a special bloodline that runs only in his family.
But now, all those things that made him unique has been lost. He was no longer the number one regnant of the Supremes, he wasn’t even a Supreme anymore.
He has lost everything.
His fortune had come crashing down.
He woke up in a body of a loser with a broken mantra.
The loser body was not blessed with any gifts.
In fact, as if God was spiting him, his new body had everything but blessings.
It had everything that everyone would call curses.
It had low potential, average looks, no sexiness, (one small advantage that will not be forgotten), and a poor household (that came along with the body) that was poor enough that buying ingredients or even having a garden with the ingredients to fix a broken mantra wasn’t feasible.
And to make matters worse, only his enemies had the things the Emperor specifically needed. Only the Four Supremes had the ingredients that could fix a broken mantra which was kept at each of their palaces.
With everything gone, from photographs to historic knowledge of who he was, redacted and forgotten, the only motivation the Emperor have left is revenge and the bittersweet taste of his former power and glory.
He shall reign Supreme once again!
---------
After getting a good two days’ night rest, the Emperor was ready to begin the YAMAC. It was time for the fruits of his training to bloom and turn into this enchanted flower everyone would be mesmerized by.
With determination in his eyes, Mitchiel and the whole clan left their main headquarters that was located three blocks down from where Mitchiel lived, all headed to the YAMAC.
The clan’s representatives which included Mitchiel and Reige were of course in the front.
It was a new day and a new dawn. New enemies will be made, new friendships will be built, and blood and death are never too far apart.

The Universe is held together by something. It is an undisputable truth but nobody knows what that something is. Raven: The Beginning
'What's the worst that could happen'? is what I thought to myself as I entered the World of the Veil with a new, experimental machine that the company created. I was originally excited to participate in their alpha test, and now, looking back, I was just a naive little girl that didn't know what it was like to truly suffer. Sarah was one of the world's best assassin players, but she wasn't prepared for getting stuck as a low-level player in a new game. Suddenly she has to struggle just to survive against the monsters of the world, while also keeping her secret from the authorities. What happens when the killing, and the consequences, are just too real? Author's Note (and a Warning): This book is about a normal person that is forced into a fantasy / medieval environment. What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). If by some miracle, and I get a job that can give me a pay advance by next week (4/8) and I survive this turbulent time, I will edit this - and the formating of the book). If you are so willing, please donate on my patreon page. Regards, Dave
