《Paradox》Chapter 7 - The deep lies and the solid truth

There was the horrific sight, green blood as if someone just splattered an apple pie as an ocean. The only thing that stood between me getting to see Lily again was something more ominous than the goblins themselves.
A girl. My age?
But...
She wasn't looking at me she had the dead cold eyes for Izumi.
I had no cool abilities like Izumi to control pee or strong enough to control killing pebbles. All I could have thought about was ‘If I say something out of topic or something that can trigger her my head is good as gone’.
I stood still...
Then she spoke, “From orders of the Xayama court, I have eradicated the goblin outbreak and found the traitor, Izumi Yumasa, wielder of grade A water manipulation as well assistant scientist, you are hereby sentence to return to the capital and face judgement from his majesty”.
Izumi looked more ticked off than when we were locked in the cage...
Grade A? Are there tiers of manipulating? I mean that makes sense if you were to assess how skilled the person is? Something is not adding up though... If he said last night that he tried to kill the god that ruled over this country and he was one of these ‘heroes’, why was he being treated as a traitor?
He's hiding something... Something worse than I could imagine. I was confused but also scared as to what Izumi actually is. Was I being handed down false information since I got here? Did Lily know about this?
It's like when I finally got an answer, a ton more questions pile over.
Izumi chuckled, “Ha, all of you good for nothings takes orders from that old 3000-year bastard, we the heroes are here to bring real peace. My friend, Ren, over there is going to become one of us, every day we will be growing, enough to step on your hopes and dreams and revive him one day, and then true peace will be achieved.” He kept on chuckling like a maniac, I never saw this side of him when we were back in the village.

He had a mask in front his true desires, hiding it from us. Now, I am here paying for this as well as Lily.
The lady glanced at me like she pities me more than actually wanting to kill me.
“WATER HEX!” Izumi yelled, but the thing was he had no water with magicules in his range. Why would he want to say that...?
Everything in my body was stiff and then I realized what it was, the “potion” he gave me earlier it was nothing of those sorts to give me magical powers but something for his gain.
“You're not looking so great there bud? Oh right, the bottle I gave you that was filled with water with magicules as well as a drowsy drug” Izumi laughed.
I was there kneeling on the ground holding my head in all the pain, the dust gusting around me while I lose consciousness. Last thing I remembered was seeing my dad's face.
“You bastard Izumi!” The lady said, “I, Isabella, knight of the capital of Xayama will strike you down”. Water started to flow from inside my mouth into Izumi's hand and as well as all the villagers. This was his plan. Feed all the villagers this "water” and make them suppliers towards his ability to manipulate. There was only water surrounding him and enough to drown the entire camp. Isabella looked furious but terrified. A powerful wielder like him would definitely kill her.
“Rune of shifting sands!” Isabella called upon, and there it was, a stone resembling a diamond, with carving in it that formed a protective barrier to the villagers and me. It was a glowing brown colour that was transparent but this was not enough.
“Enhance!” Izumi called upon his water element. A body of water turned into armor and crystal-clear daggers. This alone was so intimidating, Isabella started to shake.

She then created her spikey pebbles from the ground beneath her, calming herself, she rushed towards him. Each strike was echoed across the crater, the endless shouting at each other and the banging of ideals were immense and I was asleep for everything.
She backpedaled before she got stabbed to death and called upon more spikes and fired. Izumi had no problem deflecting the stones with his dagger but he started to notice his armor was fading, it was getting thinner and thinner and Izumi began to worry.
They continued; Isabella continued throwing her spikes though Izumi kept on blocking. It was an endless loop. Izumi started to go closer but she kept on stepping back and firing more. Then Izumi started to make sharp water droplets and fired it back at her and pressed forward towards her with a demonic look in his eyes.
He held her by her neck and threw her across the crater smashing into a wall. “Is that all miss knight of Xayama has? PATHETIC!” He held her by her hair and as he was going to strike his dagger through her, Isabella bit him, he let go of his grip and she slipped away. She was far from being capable of continuing that loop of fighting. Blood spewed from here mouth but she was not giving up, never to him.
“Time to end this nonsense”, all the water transformed into a spear and firmly held it aiming it at Isabella like he was going to throw it right into her chest.
“Agreed”, Isabella retorted spitting out blood. She gathers a chunk of rock heavy than she can manipulate and started to spit out more blood.
‘ARGHHH’
Both of them yelled throwing their massive finishing moves, it was all of nothing. The dust was too much to make of what just happened.
