‘ADMIRAL MIND SYNC BATTLE NETWORK’ (AMS Battle Network)

On the way I re-checked my available weapon. From there I know that I don’t have much firepower, I only have 4 grenade, 1 custom sniper rifle, 1 sub machine gun. The ammo was not much either.

If I got a place to get a clear shot then maybe I can pin the reinforcement down for a while, but… who will go to save them ? If I succeed extract them, then how to make sure none of it pursue us. Is another cave in will safe ? But where… I ask the VI, where to get a save cave in to make a safe retreat when we succeed extract Fubuki and the other. The VI pointed 3 place. on the corner where I meet sazanami, T cross junction ahead where fubuki fight, and somewhere behind me where VI indicated emergency exit.

I got no much time left, better hurry. On the way I ask Inazuma and sazanami, did they can make a cave in. they said they can. When I warn them to be careful not to make that by accident. They already switch the ammo with AP round, and when I ask them why, they say it was obvious and don’t know why. Another mystery things, maybe it was just like animal instinct.

“Master, they’re near.”

“Did they still alive ?”

“We don’t know for certain Admiral, because there are something jamming our RADAR”

“If only we can copy from our ally the equipment that can identify allied and enemy, like FuG 25a...”

“You mean the IFF signal ?”

“”IFF ?””

“Nevermind, just focus on sneak behind them, and make a way to extract them safely. Inazuma, can you contact them with your Battle Sync ?”

“No, they still too far away.”

“okay, for now stop in this room” I point to a small room ahead before junction ahead. “VI show me map for this place. Sazanami, keep your Sync on while guarding the room”

“Admiral, please, let us the one help them.”

“No, it was too dangerous for you.”

“But admiral can’t regenerate, if get shoot.”

“Huh ? regenerative body ? explain.” I said, after all this I don’t get surprised again with any of that.

“Well, it was like this,” then inazuma point her gun to her arm, and shoot it. Her hand was explode. Blood splatted everywhere. Then her hand back to normal in no time.

“What… just… happen…” I am really surprised to see that.

“As long as our kanmusu body don’t get hit, we will fine. Admiral. But if our kanmusu body get damaged, we will die”

“Please admiral, we can’t let you go into danger”

then I was silent, trying to think and wrap thing up in my mind after seeing that.

After few more debate, then I cannot help it, I admit I got no other way, so I send them to be the extract team.

“got anything more to said ?”

““No.””

I focused to the map, I make quick plan, and point the place to make a cave in, the plan was to get contact with Fubuki. Get them out from surrounding force. While I decide to make a sniper nest, and ambushing the pursuing enemy. Try to hold the reinforcement as long as possible. I make 3 simple booby trap with grenade I got, the last grenade I keep for emergency.

“There. That’s the plan, are you understand ? any question ?”

They answer by shaking their head’

“Okay, let’s go.”

Then we split up to our mission, while depart, I give my last pointer to them. And give a clear order, that they must give their safety above all else, and gife last parting word.

“Remember if rescuer team got injured or death, then you are just another victim, not rescuer.”

While I place bobby trap, I humming (Demons - Imagine Dragons) that I usually sing, just to calm my mind.

“Admiral are you okay ?” inazuma ask me with battle network

“I’m okay, why ?”

“Because we heard you singing. We thought you encounter enemy.”

“What ! wait, when I first encounter those thing, they was singing, too. And from I remember Scheer too said that.”

“Yes, we did that too. Because our strength came from that song, the more powerful the song, the better we fight.”

Damn, that was a shocking information to me. And weird too… after I finish that 3 bobby trap, I hurried to my nest and stand by.

“Admiral, can you sing for us ?”

“What, hell no, my sound is bad and I can’t sing in battle like you did.”

“But no one sing for us right now, so we can’t fight with our power full”y.

“Admiral… please…”

“I can’t inazuma, sazanami, I can’t…”

“But…”

“Alright, I try, just let me remember the song I can.”

“Then let us see in your mind, and take the song for us”

“You can ?”

“Yes, please let us see, and we will make that song for our battle song.”

“Very well.”

Then suddenly I got a pop up message.

New Skill get.

BATTLE CRY (Active)

Increase all stat for all ally who heard the skill 100% until the skill ended.

Increase morale by 1 for all

Increase morale by 3 for any leader

All fatigue effect after battle fixed to -15

New Title get.

ADMIRAL (Equipped)

Increase all stat by 10%

Increase all battle damage 10% when fighting on sea.

Restore all ally morale every half hour by 3 (max 49) no effect if morale was same or higher

Restore all ally fatigue every half hour by 3 (max 49) no effect if morale was same or higher

All ally will get their fatigue delayed until the mission over.

“Admiral, this song please”

Before I wrap thing in front of me, the girls sound suddenly came.

Then the pop up was came out.

“Wait, what song ?” I still confused “are you sure ?”

“Uhuh… we like it.”

“Okay… here we go, I try my best.” I said that while in my mind I said active.

Then come from no where I heard a song singing in my mind. (I'm Gonna Getcha Good - Shania Twain)

“Thanks Admiral, we will not disappoint you.”

“Good grief…” I sigh, at least I don’t need to sing. Phew… but it was a song that my wife like, and she was humming them everytime she got free time.

Then few minutes later, another connection appear.

“Admiral, we have contact. Permission to engage.”

“Permission given, go get them.”

“Roger.”

O”kay, let’s go, we will make admiral proud of us.”

GOD, Wherever you are, please don’t let my wife know her love song she use to singing was used for battle song… I pray. And I promise I will not give them permission to pick the song again. Advertisement Previous
