《Alive bond》The city

The teleport was a success.Sort of. They were supposed to arrive at the front gate of the palace but instead they found themselves in the outskirts of a grand city. The capital no doubt. The city resembled Medieval cities but the streets were more clean and they people more cheerful.
Anthony was surprised that there weren't many men.And Anna was looking around like she was on vacation but after a while she became embarrassed for some reason. She approached them quietly and whispered:"Remember what i told you at the hotel? About the extinct classes?"
Raphael had a vague idea where this was going:"Yes we remember"
Anna took a deep breath before continuing:"I take it back.By the time we arrived i have counted 20 first-class,30 second-class,50 third-class and 100 fourth-class"
Antony took a quick frantic look around and then said worried:"I'm sure Anna was going to explain us the classes in detail but for now I simply want to know where Angelica ran off too?"
Anna and Raphael looked around as well and they soon came to the same horrific conclusion.Angelica was gone.In a large, unknown city. With dangerous shadows hunting her.
Anna was trying to remain calm and collected:"Relax, she probably sensed other four-class like herself and she was drawn to the.Let's see if i can pinpoint her energy signature"
After a few moments of concentration she found her.Luckily she was not far.Just around the corner
"Follow me"
Indeed they found her talking with four other young ladies.Anthony decided against asking Anna how she had found Angelica and who were her new friends. It wasn't like he was going to get any answers out of her anyway. The most strange thing however was that all four ladies had stopped talking and they were staring at him.

"Angelica, this is your source?" A girl with long brown hair and a tall slim body asked pointing at anthony
"Yes,just my luck"
"Don't be so grumpy. He is a catch. But that doesn't mean that you won't have problems with him.I can tell" That comment came from a short lady with short black hair and brown sharp eyes.
Anthony wanted to comment on so many things but somehow he couldn't utter a word. Their eyes were like prisons that you want to lock yourself in.
"You are not from here, right?" The tall girl asked
"No unfortunately and we really must be going"answered Anna
"Such a shame. Well, i hope to meet you again Angelica."
After Angelica had walked away with Raphael and Anthony, her new acquaintances started commenting on her. Most comments were simple funny gossips until the short girl with the black hair became serious.
"We may laugh all we want. But the truth is that Angelica is either blessed with luck or she is the most talented four-class I have seen up to date. And the poor girl doesnt even realise her own potential. Where was she raised anyway? In an asteroid?"
In the meantime Angelica,Anna,Anthony and Raphael were searching for the palace. Someone would expect that it would be easy to find the largest building in the area. But no. This town was a labyrinth. And the worst part? No one was giving them direction because as they said:"You don't go into the palace without permission and if you had permission a rider would be escorting you"
In the meantime a horse rider was riding through town. Why is this worth mentioning? Because he was currently bringing chaos to the usually calm streets of the city. His horse was running like in a race but it didn't seem to be going anywhere. Finally the rider stopped and ignoring the angry yells of the people he started looking around frantically.

"Where are they? Oh the Queen isn't going to be pleased. She had gathered the entire council for her guests which I can not find. I could have seen them and not recognised them. The only description she gave me was:''search for the ones that seem to not belong here". Very precise"
Suddenly his eyes spotted a group of four people. Two men ,one small girl and a woman. They were standing against a wall deep in thought as well. And a four-class was with them. And some three-classes not too far from them. Wait, what?? What was a four-class doing so close to third-classes? She could get infected and change classes becoming a third class herself. He regained his composure and rided with calm, ease and pride to the group of strangers
"Greetings, young strangers. You seem a bit lost. Am i correct to assume you are searching for something?" He was trying to be as polite as he could. If the Queen has demanded their presences they must be very important
"I am sure you would not tell us even if we asked you to" The little girl said disappointed
"Well,i'm sure that the Queen would be happy to tell you" The little girl seemed to need some playfulness to cheer her up.
"The Queen?"said all four in union
"Yes,i'm here to escort you to the palace. Sorry for the inconvenience,we weren't expecting you so soon. If you please, follow me"
Anthony was about to answer bitterly to the rider but Anna shushed him and made him promise he would behave in front of the Queen. He reluctantly agreed. Raphael was excited but Angelica seemed a little scared. Anna was more nervous than anything
After all they were about to meet the Queen, the ultimate ruler of all the universes

Follow Brian and his newfound allies as they learn to become professional adventurers, complete contracts for the Guild, and maybe find a way home. To honor the source material's Dungeons and Dragons roots, I will be rolling dice throughout the development of this story. Everyone has a character sheet. From combat encounters to social interactions, everything that can be rolled will be rolled. See how a natural 1 can turn the tide of a battle, how a successful intimidation check can subvert a fight, or how deception can reveal critical info. No one is safe and anything can happen when you put your fate in your hands, take a chance, roll the dice. A Critical Role Fanfiction
8 140The Queen of School
Hi there, my name is Jason Corvus, you can call me Raven. My parents really (like a lot) wanted to have a boy, so when they found out that I was a girl, they still put me a boyish name. When my father was alive he always wanted to go to Tyndall Quantic Soren high school, but to the common people it was known as an elite school, but in reality, it is a school for those who are more than simple humans. My mother told me to fulfill his last wish and go to that school, but I am not that excited about it. Well, whatever. This time things seem more complicated than before, and I have no idea how long this time will last.
8 110Eliot Ness for Mayor
An everyman tests his mettle when a Voodoo god, in the guise of a kindly crackpot, thrusts him back in time and into a violent riot. Ironworker Frank O'Brien digs his life: great wife, tight family, and a job he loves, raising skyscrapers for a firm whose owner he respects. Smooth going until his boss, the owner's grandson, stirs racial and labor tensions. Soon, Frank's fighting the good fight, and standing tall seems to work. He even manages a few allies until a Voodoo god mucks up the works, knocking Frank back to 1966 and into the center of Cleveland's Hough riots to test his mettle. Needless to say, getting back to see his little girl's youth orchestra recital's gonna be a bitch. ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR is a short novel of magical-realist fiction, a stand-alone book in the Shantytown Cycle. Written for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I will be posting revisions as I complete them and should be done by early 2022, though I am making major changes so the timing may be longer. This book is cross-posted on two websites: Wattpad and Royal Road. Both are reputable, high-quality sites. Do not trust this book on other websites. They "scrape" material from reputable sites, posting the stolen material as an original to lure users in, but contain links that include malicious code.
