Before Maria had time to answer, Alex turned her waist and kissed her mouth. Maria didn't turn down Alex. This scene happened to be seen by Jack. Jack was shocked. He changed from shock to anger. He wanted to rush forward, but he immediately realized that he and Maria were just ordinary friends, not lovers. So he turned from anger to sadness, and he turned and ran away.
