Gen then turned and started running as fast as he could while thinking, Crap, crap, crap, crap! How did he find me in all that sand?!', he then turned his face back, and saw that the lion was running faster than him, he then thought, 'Looks like running is not an option, so let's test your strength little lion.'

Gen then pulled his spears from his back, unwrapped them, picked up the Scarlet Comet, and put the Light back on his back. He then said, "Looks like it's time for your first battle Scar. Let's show that this lion has messed with the wrong person." Gen then stopped and turned around, he then began to run towards the lion, and just as they were about to meet, the lion leapt towards Gen.

When Gen saw this he flashed a little smile on his face and slid underneath him, causing him to miss him. He then got up from the ground and landed a horizontal blow on the lion's butt holding Scar with one hand, while saying, "Basic rule of combat, never jump unless you're sure you're going to hit it.", but right after hitting the blow Gen felt his wrist hurt and almost dropped Scar, he then thought, 'What the hell is this? It feels like I hit a wall.', he then supported Scar on his arm and shook his hand, and then thought as he looked in the direction of the lion, who had been pushed a bit by his blow, 'Well, the blow was pretty strong, let's see how much damage it did to him.'

Gen then focused on where he had landed the blow, and noticed that there was a cut mark there, but there was no blood coming out of it, Gen then thought, 'Hmm, looks like I didn't hit a good spot, next time I'll aim at a more fragile place.', he then took Scar in one hand, and moved towards the lion. The lion saw Gen coming towards him, it was furious, and again came towards Gen, but this time it showed no sign that it was going to jump, Gen then thought, 'Looks like he's pretty smart, I better get this over with as fast as I can.'

When the two were very close, Gen made a movement as if he was going to stab the lion in the face, and when he saw this the lion quickly turned away from the direction of the blow, but Gen changed the direction of his blow midway, and drove Scar into the sand. He then used Scar as leverage, and launched himself along with it over the lion taking him by surprise, he then took this chance to ram him in the back of the head while thinking, 'Let's see how strong the back of his head is.', but upon hitting the blow, Gen had the same feeling as last time, and then thought, 'Looks like his whole body is hard like this, I'll have to think of another way to defeat him.'

Gen fell back onto the lion's back and started thinking, 'How can I defeat him?', he then started looking around, and saw the other black rocks nearby and thought, 'that's it! If all these stones explode like the first one, it won't be hard to defeat it. Gen then started to run towards the nearest rock, and as he saw this the lion roared towards him, 'ROARRRR!'.

Just after the roar, another gust of wind accompanied by sand came towards Gen, and when he saw this he stopped and turned towards the oncoming sand wave.He then held Scar with both hands pointing her down, and let out as much air as he could, 'Choooo!', right after that he breathed in as much as he could, 'Ssshhh!' and then when the wave was only a few meters away from him, he let out all his air in a scream and delivered a vertical blow from bottom to top towards the wave, 'HAH!'.

The blow released a small straight vertical gust of air that cut through the oncoming sand wave, causing it to pass through Gen without hitting him. Gen then looked at the lion and said, "You better come up with another trick, because this one won't work anymore," he then continued towards the rock and then thought, 'This has tired me more than I thought. I guess it's too much of a stretch to use this move without my essence. Hopefully he understood me and will stop using it, otherwise I'm screwed.'

Gen then reached over to the nearest rock and touched it with one of his hands, he then looked in the direction he had come from and saw the lion approaching quickly, and then thought, 'Now we wait and see if this rock will really explode like the other one. He then took the same position he had used to cut the sand wave, and then faced the lion.

The lion, seeing this, slowed his speed, and began to approach slowly, watching what Gen was going to do. They stood in a stalemate for a few seconds until a noise broke it, 'CRACK'. On hearing this noise Gen left the position he was in and began to run, moving to the other side of the rock and continuing without stopping. Seeing this the lion began to run after him, quickly passing the stone.

Seeing the lion following him, Gen stopped after backing away from the rock a bit, and started moving towards the lion once more. The two met once more, and this time the lion stood up a bit on its hind legs and stretched out its front paws to hit Gen, preventing him from running over him again. Gen seeing this, held Scar with both hands and used it to stop the lion's paws.

CRACK', 'CRACK'

As he stopped them Gen felt a huge weight on his body, the weight made him even sink a little into the sand, Gen then said while pushing hard, "How many kilos do you think you weigh! Get off me!!!". He then spun Scar horizontally, causing the lion to lose its support, and spun her vertically hitting the lion with the other end of her on its belly, pushing it back a bit.

Gen then took the opportunity, and approached the lion, getting right underneath it. He then quickly got into a position where he was holding Scar with both hands, with the tip of it behind him and pointing slightly downward. He then began to breathe, 'Choooo!', 'Ssshhh!', and then delivered a bottom-up blow to the lion's belly, speaking as he hit it, "Fly!"

'CRACK', 'CRACK', 'CRACK', 'CRACK'

The blow was extremely strong, and to the lion's surprise, lifted him a couple of meters off the ground. "GASP!", Gen knew he couldn't miss the opportunity and got into position again. This time he was holding Scar in one hand, giving the impression that he was going to throw it.

He then started to breathe, 'Choooo!', 'Ssshhh!', and then focused his eyes on his target, the black rock that was about to explode. Gen then concentrated and held Scar tighter, and soon began to sweat profusely. Scar in his hands began to glow, so that it really seemed to be a comet in Gen's hands. He then waited, until the lion that was falling from the air, lined up with the stone, Gen then said, "GO SCAR!", and then released it saying, "JAVELIN!!!"

Scar then took off flying towards the lion, and upon hitting it began to carry it towards the stone. She carried him until he crashed backwards into it, which upon receiving the impact finally exploded, 'CRACK!'

Seeing the lion receive the blast from the stone, Gen fell to his knees gasping, 'GASP, GASP, GASP', until there came a moment when he couldn't take it, and ended up vomiting, 'Bleurp!' He then took a few more breaths until he could adjust his breathing, then he took his canteen, drank some water, swallowed it, and spat it out to wash his mouth.

Gen then said, "Using the Javelin took more energy than I expected. I better avoid using it again until I get my essence back. He then looked in the direction of the explosion and saw that Scar was standing in the middle of the path between him and the exploding rock, and thought, 'She was probably thrown here by the explosion.', Gen started to walk towards it, and as he reached it he took it in his hands, and then thought looking at the cloud of sand that covered the area of the explosion, 'The explosion must have killed him, or at least incapacitated him.'

Gen then sat down cross-legged and put Scar on his lap, and then picked up his canteen to drink some water, but as he was drinking it a noise startled him, making him almost choke on it, 'ROARRR!', 'ROARRR!'. The noise generated two gusts of air that made two waves of sand. Fortunately Gen was far enough away that he didn't have to worry about the waves, but soon after they passed, Gen was able to see what lay in the place of the explosion.

Around the area several pieces of stone lay, and in the middle was the lion he had thrown, and a bear the same color as the lion. The lion was lying on the ground, but he quickly got up. The bear walked towards the lion, and stopped beside him, making a noise, 'roar', the lion then made a noise back, 'rooaar', and then turned his face to Gen along with the bear. Seeing this Gen said, "F****!!!".
