June's POV
I woke up bright an early...Not, I woke up late, system alarm blaring in my ears to get up, and i pressed my head to the pillow not wanting to get up, but I had to, so I got up and took a shower.
20 minutes later...
I went back downstairs in a new set of clothes and took a seat behind the desk, being as bored as i was I decided to play Portal on my desktop 'till someone stops by. Playing the game I unintentionally focus at the game, less at the door, as I solve tests.
"Excuse me miss?"
I jolt up from the game.
"Um yes? What is it?" I say startled
"What is this place?"
"It's an Entertainment Cafe sir."
I look up at the man, a bit tall with long hair slightly tied up, wearing an overcoat and looking around.
"What's a 'Entertainment Cafe' ?"
"Games you play for fun with some snacks on the side"
"So a restaurant? Are you a cook?"
"No No, You relax and watch movies, play games, and chat with friends, we do serve food but mainly desserts."
"Hmm what food do you have?"
"We have some cake at the moment"
"Cake?"
I stared at the man wide eyed. They don't have cake here? What kind of world was I sent too?!
"Sir, it's sort of a sweet and fluffy bread with a cream topping."
The man stared and still had no idea what I was talking about.
"It's sort of a candy...is there candy here?"
"Yes I know what candy is, so you sell candy here?"
"Not really no, we sell games and in a relaxing enviroment, do you want to try the cake? Just so you know what it is?"
"Sure"
"That'll be 3 crystals"
"What?! 3 crystals! Are you trying to rob me!"
"No I think that's a perfectly reasonable price, considering no one has cake other than me."
It was true considering if cake hasn't been invented it should be pretty expensive, June figured she should make the price even higher.
"Alright I'll buy it, but if it isn't good you'll have to pay the price."
"Thank you for your purchase" June smiled

I walked to the kitchen and asked the system for the cake. It did appear and I placed it into a case and took it to the waiting area. The man looked at the cake in wonder, as I cut a slice and handed it to him.
"Whoa...this is cake? It does look good..."
"Enjoy!"
The man stared at the cake unsure of how to even eat it, so June handed the man a fork and told him to cut into it, the man did as she said and took a bite of cake. His eyes gleamed as he slowly began to pick up the pace and soon was scarfing down the cake as if he was a starving person. Once he was finished he placed the fork down on the now empty plate.
"Was it good?"
"I've never had anything like it! It was amazing what is it called again?"
"This is called a black forest cake, currently our main cake dish"
"Cake...who are you miss, to make such a delicious cake?"
"Oh well I'm June Anabelle, but you can continue to call me Miss Anabelle if you like, Mr...?
"Yahui, Harlow Yahui at your service" Harlow took a little bow.
"Well thank you for your purchse Mr. Yahui, and I may ask if you are done?"
"Oh uh...Can I have more cake...?" Harlow said with a bit of an embarrassed look.
"Of course you can, but the limit is three cakes per day, I do not sell any more than that"
So June and Harlow chatted for most of the morning or until he was done with his cake. He said he would visit often, and then left the building. So June went back to her game thinking about her conversations with Harlow.
He said the name of this world is Caelus, and I am in the city of Spiritborn, the most popular city as it was supposedly where all Qi originated.
June continued to think as she slowly got back into playing.
~Afternoon~
Nanami POV
I was skipping home with my friends when we passed by the store again, my friends walked on but I stared at what was through the window. The sun shone through the window revealing a black and white pastry with fruit on top. I didn't remember seeing it there yesterday, and dispite father telling me not to go there I wanted to go inside and see what it was. My friends noticed I had fallen behind and walked up to me.

"Hey Nanami, whatcha lookin at?"
"It's a gaming store, Meredith, I went there yesterday and I swear it made it easier to cultivate after, but today they seem to have a new product at the window."
"What's a Gaming store?"
"I can't explain it, I'll just show you inside Rosa"
They walked into the store and I went to talk to June.
"June?"
"Hiyaa! What now?! Oh hey Nanami"
I giggled at her reaction "I brought my friends can you show them how to play?"
"Oh sure"
"Oh and what's the thing on the counter?"
"It's a cake, and you might not know what that is so buy a slice if you want to try it"
"Sure how much is it?"
"3 Crystals"
My eyes bulged out of my head. 3 Crystals!! That was almost my full allowance, and I spent most of it here yesterday, I wondered if i needed the so called "Cake". After pondering for a while which wasn't really that long I decided to buy it.
"Okay, Give me a slice"
"Alrighty then"
June then went to help Rosa get in the pod, and when she came back she grabbed a plate and cut a slice of cake and gave it to me with a fork.
"Enjoy" She said with a smile
I sat down on a bench next to Meredith and Rosa's pod and saw on a screen what they were doing, and I took a bite of the cake. My eyes widen as I feel the flavors of sweetness envelop my tongue and I smile. Mmmmm this tastes really good! Cake huh, it tastes divine. I continued to snack on the cake while watching my friends progress through the game.
June's POV
I watch as Nanami and her friends play the game and I see Nanami enjoying the cake, a big smile on her face, and I smile too for a lot more reasons than cake.

I bought the potato plant and it appeared in 4 small pots on in the backroom. I walked on back there and began to place the plants in the two corners of the room, and two out front at the entrance, for a little more of an inviting appearance. As I finished I saw that Nanami's friends had finished and were chatting about the cake, I walked over to say hi.
"Hello I could overhear that the two of you would like to try some cake?"
"Is it really that good?"
"It is Meredith!" Said Nanami "The price is a little high but I say it's totally worth it"
"Alright get us both a slice" said Meredith, but Nanami jumped in with "I'd like another slice too Miss June!"
I chuckled and went over cutting three slices and putting them all on plates as I carried them over too the booth of three.
"Here you girls are, three serving of Black Forest Cake. Enjoy!"
"Thanks!" the three of them replied in unison.
Nanami started to dig in while the Meredith and Rosa girls ate slowly, but soon they were all eating like Nanami.
"This is amazing! you were totally right Nanami, it was worth it!"
After the three of them were done Meredith realized they had been there for a long time, and decided to visit the next day. and Nanami realized she was late to get home again, so she hurried up as to not get scolded by her father again. Saying goodbye to June the three of them hurried home.
June smiled, it had been a good day for her as she gained quite a lot of Crystals today, and also made a new friend. Soon she heard a voice in her head.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

Reincarnation of a Businessman
A businessman is betrayed by those he holds dearest and reincarnates into a mystical world of cultivation where the power of a single person can split the heavens. However, his reincarnation does not go smoothly... ******************** This is a xianxia (cultivation/progression fantasy) story which fuses a lot of western fantasy elements. This story includes POV's of different characters which are all going to be developed in the future and will have an effect on the story. The novel is named after the reincarnation of the businessman which serves as a cataclysm in the world of cultivation, and while the MC uses some of his business knowledge, this novel is not centered around the MC creating a business empire. I plan to extend the story into at least 2 books, both taking place in the same world. ******************** Updates will happen once every 2 days, but this is often going to change to once every day or once every 3 days because I am not currently writing full-time, and neither is my editor.
