Chapter 28 TISZ Wick

(Who… who is the one that attacks me? Did one of the children set up a trap and ambushed me here?)

Nasrul thinking at a fast pace when he look at the hand that sprawled out of his stomach.

(Why! Why! Why me?! Is it because I am one of the last person? If it because of that then there nothing I can do. At least I must know who is the one that attack me)

At the face of the incoming death, Nasrul struggle for a bit inside his head. Thinking the correct course of action. What he needs to do? What lead to this?

At the end of it, he can only get a few of the ideas of what happen. He must be one of the persons that stay alive at this time. This means other than he and Zakiran, the other people that starting with them already died completely. Nothing can be done if he the one that staying alive to now.

Right now from his perspective, he glad that the persons that get attack was him. Nasrul know that he almost reach… the limit of his endurance.

The moment that his the inside of his body, the one that keep him from feeling the pain. The one that make giving a false feeling that the body of his still feel a little tired than the real condition. He knows himself what kind of state his body was in.

Getting his body broken with every cell in the body screaming in pain during the time that he escape from Tim attack. Getting his back slash by the wind blade from Benny hammer. Running all over the place for the past four hours or more right now.

Nasrul do not know how much feeling that he can feel from all over his body with all of this thing happening. He can say that he barely feels anything from his body. The extreme pain fades away with time but still… he feel a little pain from its meaning that the pain still there it just his body give a false report to his brain. It stops him from the feeling that pain almost completely.

If that not enough, just now he was attack and get his back slash. That slash is real. Meaning that right about now, the back of his there a blood that flow out of it.

Before the feeling of pain and now blood flow out of it. How much can his body handle all of this?

The loss of blood will only worsen his condition, making him lethargic over time. Then at the end of it he will be dead. If he runs at this time, that flow of blood… will flow more from his body. Meaning that his body will be drained of blood until it reach the state of shock when he lose more than thirty percent of the blood. Entering the state of shock at this time will be the end of it.

The person that cannot move and the person that can move, you did not need to think too much which one of them will be an easier target. As he was getting shock at that time, that children's ghost will need to come at him and kill him without doing any additional work.

He cannot walk and you want to say that he can run. That preposterous. He will become an easy target. In other word a living easy target. Even if he survives this attack, the chance of living will drop drastically.

Nasrul thinking that the time of death for him is near right now. At least he wants to see, the one that attack him. Whether it was Tim, Tom, Caleb, Lilian or Benny. If it according to what he think the one that attack him must be Tim because before Tim attack him bare hand so that boy must be able to do this.

Nasrul move his body a little so that he can turn around and see the one that attack him. Slowly he turns his head as the fatigue begins to reach him and the adrenaline that he feel also subside.

After he turn around, he cannot believe it, the scene that he saw. He cannot believe his eyes on what he sees? Right now he feel like he is dreaming. What he sees give a huge blow to him as he do not want to believe what he saw right now.

The one that attack him not Tom or Caleb or Lilian or Benny or… Tim. The one that attack him was the person that stay with him. It was Zakiran.

Right now he saw that on the face of Zakiran there a huge smile hang on. It like he wants to tell him ‘surprise’ and tried to laugh with it.

Nasrul thought that he will die in the hand of ghost children, he never thought that the betrayal can be this hurt.

As Nasrul shock at looking the person that attack him. The hand that stab Nasrul can be seen appear a black mist surrounding it. Because Nasrul right now close enough to the source some of this mist enters Nasrul body.

As that mist enter Nasrul body, he feel like he is losing balance and what in front of him begin to wrap in a circle.

Then everything around him no matter the tree, the grass, the bus and Zakiran disappear. All of it turns into darkness. Right now he wakes up from the shock and saw himself floating in this space.

Cross some little time, he heard something like someone talking.

“…. me this is not what I think it is? The Wick game?”

Then some other.

“Well the ghost are all children so we should not try to spoiled their having fun. When they are having fun they still can spare us, but if we tried to spoil the fun they might just go outright killing us”

Then he heard the banging sound.

Bang…

Bang…

And the tree toppling.

Boom…

The scene in that place begins to change. He saw a person jump around and then avoid the attack of the children. He knows that guy, that the person he saw at the beginning. He cannot believe what he saw. It like he saw a movie, that person dodge the attack of the ghost children like he knows where that children's will attack.

Then Nasrul tried to move, but his body cannot move it like the whole body of his strapped to the bed. He tried to shout, but his mouth cannot open and not even sound emitted when he tried to scream.

After some time the body of his begin moving. Nasrul feel that his body move on his own, he cannot control it.

After this happens he know now that the reason that he cannot move his body, not because his body was locked out. It because in the first place this was not his body. This means that word that he heard before must the memories.

This means that Zakiran saw one of the person that tried to run from the children before.

During the moment of avoidance at one instance that person that avoids the attack of the children jump to the place that Zakiran standing. Then Nasrul saw it at that time, Zakiran hand move and stab the neck of that person from the back.

(Damn, this is… this is brutal)

He cannot describe the feeling that he had right now the moment that Zakiran attack and the moment that person turn his head and look toward him. The feeling of shock and grief can be seen from that person eyes.

Then the scene changes again, this time Nasrul saw himself. From the position that he stands now, he knows that he is on top of the tree. Right now he sees himself moving away from the well and he also that along with Tim, there Lilian and Caleb that follow him.

Then it has changed again, this time the scene shows Benny change someone. Right now he jump from one tree to another tree in a straight line unlike that jump zigzagging.

The person that Benny chase right now is a woman, she also the person that he saw at the beginning. That woman also avoids Benny attack like she knows where Benny will attack. At that time Nasrul thinking.

(What the hell wrong with this people. Everyone I see like they know where the children will attack. How did they do it?)

The event moving on until he saw that woman jump higher up on the tree at that time he feel a movement. Zakiran begin to move. Nasrul saw it at this time, the speed that Zakiran move really fast that he can catch up to that woman that is in the air. The moment that Zakiran appear the women appear to be shocked when she saw that Zakiran appear suddenly on top of her when she look at the back suddenly. Then Zakiran punch that woman to the ground. It is then followed with Benny smash that hammer to the woman's body.

The next what happen is that, Nasrul was thrown into darkness again and the voice appears again.

“No, it’s true. It was a long time ago. The house burnt down, the parents died, but their kid’s bodies were never found…”

“Don’t take the blindfold off until we’re gone. Good luck!”
