《There's a Hero in the Kingdom》Arc One Character Q&A
Advertisement
Well here it is, the first arc's character Q&A.
Where are the questions?
Fleza: Good question. Unfortunately I've received no questions to answer.
What are you posting for then?
Fleza: Well, I didn't want to just do nothing and leave everyone hanging until I post the first chapter of arc two next week.
Couldn't you have posted some sort of chapter instead?
Fleza: Yes, I suppose I could have. I was thinking about posting a new original chapter to be a sort of interlude, but I didn't start the chapter soon enough to make my deadline. As a result, I've been considering the past week to be a small break from writing to recharge for the second arc.
Any other announcements?
Fleza: Please consider liking, sharing, subscribing... wait, this isn't a youtube video. But please, consider commenting, rating, and sharing There's a Hero, or any of my other works, if you've enjoyed it. Apparently it feeds RoyalRoad's algorithim too, so There's a Hero will be seen by more people and thus I can get more feedback on it. Seriously, the only way I can improve the story is to get that constructive criticism from you all.
Things are changing in my life again, but I'm trying to keep on top of a weekly release of There's a Hero despite the changes. Thanks to everyone for the support you've already shown to me.

Survival Mage
When ken was a young boy, he became insatiably fascinated by the arcane. The unknown to be more precise, and he loved anything mythical. Like any young boy, he was fascinated by the legends of dragons and gods. But where others were content with the bedtime stories, he was not. When Ken accidentally unlocks his innate talents one day, he starts regretting his curiosity. While a whole new world of magic opens its doors to him, he realizes being a mage isn't all its cracked up to be. In order for new mages to control their newfound powers, they are forced into an academy to learn control and to provide better growth for their ability. Alas, there is an entry exam one must pass. But not all who enter will leave. Depending on overall score during the exam, your allotted a certain amount of resources at the academy. How do you gain more points? By killing your peers, or providing enough entertainment. Author Note: Unsure where this is going yet, just having fun writing. PS, The cover is from Google. I don't know whos it is, but it looks awesome and fits the theme. If anyone does know, or it is yours, please don't sue me. On the other hand, if anyone sends me a fanart version, that'd be cool too.

8 264Blank: a Story of Good Intentions
Many Millennia ago in a time of peace and innovation, a disaster of epic proportions, known as the Great Reverse, ravaged the world. The details remain vague, but humanity was once again thrown into the disorder and chaos. Under the mysterious circumstances, they reclaimed an ability that was once long lost to them, the restored ability to wield magic. Thus a period of great prosperity and enlightenment swept over the world. With the help of magic, humanity reclaimed its throne above the world's other inhabitants and created civilizations almost as grand and extravagant as the kingdoms and republics of the past. But with every piece of innovation, arises a piece of chaos. The Great Reverse gave rise to horrendous and terrifying creatures. Not much is known about them, because their very nature makes them hard to study. It is believed that they arise from human turmoil itself. They have tangible bodies, but they're mercurial and erratic. Additionally their sole purpose of life is to instill despair within the world. They are those who walk through the night with no soul, no heat, no individual thought. The story follows siblings Tom and Sally Blanc, who train to become slayers, or 'Knights' and quickly learn the hardships of their line of work.
