“Alright let's get this party started!” Ken said jumping onto a vehicle speeding by. Wei Chen followed suit, pursuing him on another vehicle as his aircraft followed close behind.

“Fire!” He ordered his men.

Ken drew one of his blades, using autoblock to deflect their attacks.

“Dragons Tooth!” Wei screamed, once again attacking Ken.

“Sorry Wee” Ken said drawing his second blade “That trick isn’t going to work twice!”

Timing his block perfectly with Wei’s attack, he parried it, leading Wei into the fire of his own men.

“Cease fire! Cease fire!” Wei screamed as his HP slowly began to drop.

“What the hell your HP barely even moved! How much do you have?” Ken asked

“10,000” Wei said. “You're so low level you don’t even have a scanner to see it!”

“10,000 huh? I wonder how many times I’d have to swipe at you to drop that to 0!” Ken said

“Given the strength of that blade... probably one ability would do it!”

“What! Is this thing really that powerful?” Ken said looking at his swords

“You have no idea!” Wei said “In the 10 years since this games launch, there has been no weapon remotely close! It has a drop rate of .00001% on the hardest dungeon in the game! In fact in these ten years I believe you're the first player to ever wield it!”

“No way” Ken said “What were my chances of getting it in a loot box?”

“Loot boxes multiply the items drop rate by .00001 so one in ten million!” Wei yelled

“Maybe this was destiny then.” Ken said “Hehe maybe I was meant to wield this blade.”

Wei’s face became dark, as his eyes filled with scorn.

“I had to grind to get to this level. I had to go through countless hours to make it to level thirty just so to get absolutely destroyed by the post 30 missions. They’re so hard I can’t even clear the first floor with the help of my 4 friends! And do to this games leveling cap… I can’t go back and do level 20 missions anymore…”

“I struggled from the beginning to the end and you just walk in here with the weapon that can solo any dungeon and win any PVP match! How is that fair! I'm tired of listening to your gloating! I’m going to end this here and now! Screw these NPC’s!

Wei began channeling a huge amount of energy into his blade. An aura flowed from the sword, filling the streets with its crimson light

“So, finally getting serious huh?” Ken said

“This is it!” Wei said

“Mace fire a missile ahead at the cars in front!”

WOOSH!

A missile flew out from the aircraft.

“You bastard!” Ken yelled

The missile rocketed pass Ken, exploding into a group of cars ahead.

BOOOOOM!

A section of the road was blown off, forcing Ken to abandon the vehicle he was riding on top off.

Jumping back to the top of his aircraft, Wei watched Ken with his back to the wall encounter a slew of cars racing at him at hypersonic speeds.

“You have two options!” Wei said “Fall to your death, or be run over by a hundred cars! Either one is fine by me!” Wei yelled

“Tsk!” Ken said, drawing his blades. “It's a funny thing” Ken said swiping his blade to the right

In that exact instant a car ran into his blade tearing into smithereens.

BOOM!

The remains left of the car rebounded back onto the highway.

“It’s like these cars are moving in slow motion to me.”

One by one Ken caught each speeding neon automobile and sent them reeling backwards creating a stockpile in front of him... Relentlessly slashing, Ken never took his eyes off the road, switching from left to right instantaneously. As the stockpile grew higher and higher, a traffic jam of cars piled up behind it slowing down the amount of cars Ken came into contact with.

After a few minutes of slashing, all the cars on the highway were backed up in a huge traffic jam behind a stockpile of 50 cars.

“I watched every second.” Wei thought “It was at least 100 cars that came to the edge of that road… and not a single one passed him… Even the ones in the lanes further down that he couldn't reach he hit by thrusting a car in a closer lane towards in the beginning, limiting the flow to two lanes by creating a stockpile. Then he slowly walked forward creating a blockade of cars that created a traffic jam... This guy… he’s definitely not human! He’s gotta be some kind of hacker! He’s found a way to hack the game! That where this luck of his comes from!”

“Sorry Hacker!” Wei said above him in the aircraft “You're not slipping your way out of this one! Mace the other side of the road now!”

“The aircraft the Wei was in shot a missile at the other side of the road.

BOOOM!

“Heh” Ken said smiling “To think you would resort to this…”

Now standing on a slab of land disconnected on both sides, Ken began to fall into the ocean that lay below the highway.

“You’re only a level 5, the fall damage alone should easily kill you” Wei said gripping his blade “But even so…”

The red energy from Wei’s blade was nearly eye blinding now, it was like a red star was coming out from the edge of his blade.

“What the hell is that?” Ken said falling into the Ocean.

“My blade is fully charged! It's time!” Wei said jumping into the air

“Omega Red!” He yelled

A huge red crescent ejected from his blade slowly making its way towards Ken. Its radius was huge enough to envelope the entire Platform Ken had been standing on, way too big to air dash away from.

“Heh I don’t think I can parry that one” Ken said laughing. “I guess its game over for me” Ken said, closing his eyes.

“This game was… Juicy” He said smiling

“I… I don’t want to live this life anymore”

“Maya! Don’t say that what the hell is wrong with you!”

“I don’t mean I want to kill myself... I mean I wanna get back online!”

“Uff Why are you always playing those online videogames are they really that great?”

“They're awesome! The online world is way more interesting than this low graphic, crappy one! I’d trade my life to live in there permanently if I could!”

“I see so you’d just leave me behind then” Ken said. “Just like he did.”

“Oh sorry Ken, I forgot about your dad…”

“No no it’s fine…” Ken said

“I can’t believe he really left you and your mother all alone and got a new family in the cyberworld… that is literally insane! I would never do that to you! I don’t know what I was saying…”

“I wonder if my mom would ever let me play one of those online games… That would be awesome”

“Yeh I think you’d love it! It's not like school or life where there are all these rules! You can do whatever you want! Be whatever you want! You can create your own rules!”

“Create my own rules? That would be awesome!”

“Heh, look at me getting sentimental over a video game” Ken said laughing “I can’t believe it I still think of her after all these years… She’s gotta be on this game somewhere! I just know it! I’ve gotta show her my character! I’ve gotta show her that I have the cyberblade!”

“That blade is mine!” Wei said as his red slash got closer and closer to Ken.

“I can't parry this, and I don’t have any abilities to match it… I’ve only got one shot at this!” Ken said

Taking out one of his blades He aimed it upwards.

“Fly!” He yelled

Throwing his blade with a spin, he curved it around the red beam slowly approaching the aircraft above him.

“What the heck! Is that really his blade?” Wei shouted

Kens blade crashed into the aircraft blasting it to smithereens

Wei fell out of the sky crashing into a parked car on the Highway. He limped off of the dented vehicle’s hood holding on for dear life.

“100HP I’m still alive!” Wei said “I'm still alive!”

“Hehehehahahahah!”

Wei injected himself with an implant regaining all his health.

“Now it's my time to gloat!” Wei said stretching his arms to the sky. “I Wei Chen Wei have finally defeated Ken Orobouros! The Cyberblade is-”

Rumble! Rumble! Rumble! Wei heard from below him

“Huh?”

Kens blade popped out from below his feet penetrating straight through the cybersteel pavement.

“Impossible! The scanner says level 7! When did he? That's right, the aircraft! There were 11 soldiers on that thing! He leveled up and got an ability!

“Mace, what did he use to finish me!”

“It says he used Cyber slicer, a homing gap closer ability that slashes through an opponent. It’s castable on air as well as ground, and dashes through all cyber/beam like attacks except plasma!”

“I guess I lose…” Wei said as his body started to disintegrate. “I wasn’t able to defeat a level 1, I guess this is what I deserve…Ken Orobouros I’ll never for-”

“Dude would you freaking relax already! It's a video game man!” Ken said laughing “Bro just tell me how you feel when you log back in!”

“I don’t need that crap!” Ken said “I've got everything I need right here!” He said holding his blade high in the sky.”

“This is not a player world, this is a user home world a world filled with NPCs and no players. She has sent multiple invitations to join your world”

“Then why the hell haven’t you notified me! And what do you mean no players! Then where did that Wei guy come from!”

“Wei sent you an invitation to join your world the second you obtained the blade. Didn’t you see a notification pop up?”

“I see...I wasn’t paying attention then, I was clicking through everything...”

:”Also I couldn’t alert you during combat, would you like me to give you updates on the others?

“At the moment you have 3000 messages 10,000 invitations as well as 100 friend requests”

“That many! Ken said “That's insane!, how many users can there be on one planet at a time?”

“There is no limit, the entire player base could land on your planet if they wanted, they would have to load in one by one in a que but they could all come if they liked.”

“Good, Ken said “I want you to accept all 100 friend request and all 10,000 invitations to join my world, but put Maya at the front of the line!” Ken ordered

“Are you sure?”

“Yes!” “Also I want you to send a message to all 10,000 players as well as the 3000 messages in my inbox”

“Juicy! He replied with Juicy? Sir what does this mean?"

A man in a blue cybersuit read a message from a computer in a giant spaceship, the light from the window of the room he was sitting in was hardly noticeable amongst the thousands of others. From the looks of it the spaceship was large enough to be a user world, or multiple at that!

“It means that Idiot didn’t read our message! So much for securing him a spot in our guild! At this rate He’s probably been bamboozled by some other scheming player!” Another man answered. As he dropped his head, the emblem of an eagle gleamed on the top of his hat.

“Sir there's some kind of breaking news on the cyber net apparently a level 15 player has accepted 10,000 players into his home world, and get this his name is”

“Ken Orobouros!” The other man groaned

“Goddamnit! Every guild and their mother is gonna be there! Blanka send a message to Jin! Tell him failure is not an option!”

“I swear! How the hell does the most powerful sword in the game end up in the hands of someone who literally has chaos as there last name?”
