《My Universal beast system》Ch-13 Findings

Job approached Ben and obediently submitted the dead body before his feet. Bob just stood there on the back, silently staring at Pop who had already stopped breathing, and was currently lying down peacefully on the ground.
After laying the body before Ben's feet, Job went back to stand with Bob while also silently staring at Pop's dead body.
...
Although feeling disgusted seeing the state of the body, Ben still absorbed the urja pouring out from it before walking towards more such bodies to absorb Urja from them.
After doing this, he went back to stand on his previous position, and silently stared at his remaining subordinates.
The two goblins were still staring at Pop, they were sad but not to the extent of crying out loud to the sky. At the end of the day, they were just companions that had met along the way while trying to survive from the Grey wolves. The three didn't have any deep relationship so Bob and Job were able to accept the fact that Pop had died.
"Tell me, how did this happen?. I want every detail."
The two goblins were just about to approach Pop, when they heard a rather calm voice enter their ears. Their Boss was asking them about their previous situation.
Even though he wasn't in the mood, Bob still went forward to describe what had actually happened to them, And why they were fighting against those three humans.
….
After listening to everything that Bob had described, Ben somewhat understood the situation now. The three goblins were just resting beside the dead body of the frog wolf, when those three humans suddenly came out from the deep bushes ahead.
After seeing the dead Frostwolf beside their feet, those three humans slowly approached them before attacking out of nowhere!.
At first, the goblins didn't know why they were being attacked, and tried to flee from the place while taking the frost Wolf's dead body. Only after being attacked a few more times did they realise that these three humans were after the dead body of the Frost wolf!.
Although they realised the reason for why they were being attacked, the goblins didn't want to give up the Frost Wolf's body.
Everytime Ben kills a beast, he stops and closes his eyes to stand silently before the dead body. This action makes it seem like Ben is doing some sort of strange ritual.
The goblins, seeing that Ben didn't yet do the ritual to the dead frostwolf, didn't want others to take it away.
It was their Boss's property!. Nobody can take it away before he does his ritual!.

They made a decision to protect the body, and wait for their Boss to come back. So without any other choice they could only fight back or defend.
Pop was even more determined to protect the body, he wanted to prove himself before Ben so he ruthlessly blocked the path of those three humans, trying to slow them down a bit….but he instead got stabbed through the heart, and died at the hands of that female human.
After hearing this account, Ben felt even more guilty towards Pop. He had died unjustly!.
An expression of guilt slowly surfaced on his face, but it was only for a moment before his expression quickly turned back to his normal one. It seems like the system was at work here.
After regaining some rationality, Ben closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again with some shine.
"You two...never do that again, prioritise your own safety first. I didn't need the body of that frost wolf. If I ever need you to protect something, then I will ask you to do so but if I don't...then DON'T, it is that simple."
After saying this, he went closer to Pop's body, and picked it up with his mouth before moving it to a corner.
"We will take Pop's body with us…..as for those three bodies...leave them for other wild beasts in this forest." Those wild beasts would do the work, if people tried investigating they would not be able to find Ben. They would only speculate that these three died at the hands of some powerful beasts while exploring this forest. As long as they didn't know his physical features it was fine.
Some other adventurers might be attracted here sooner or later, before that Ben and his subordinates have to leave the area.
Any other person coming here to investigate would not be able to tell what had happened, unless they had time reversal magic or memory type magic that he had read about in some novels in the past. But Ben doesn't believe that those kind of magic could exist. Even if they did exist then wouldn't they be very rare or important?.
Why would someone use those kinds of magic for these weak humans?. They should be adventurers from their getup. If they were important people, would they ever need to travel inside this forest? And even try to snatch away a single dead body of a Frostwolf from three insignificant goblins?. Weren't they too cheap to be some important young master type people?.
Due to these reasons, Ben wasn't worried about someone attempting to find him. He could just leave this area, and go towards the South to hide. He was planning to go there anyway.

After some careful planning, Ben moved his head to stare at his two subordinates.
'Staying here anymore is out of the question. We will have to quickly move towards the south.'
"We can't stay here for a while, we will move towards the South area this instant. Understood?."
The two goblins seemed out of mood, but they still tried replying with fake enthusiasm.
"Yes boss!!"
Ben didn't care about their mental state, and simply began walking towards the deep forest.
Bob and Job stared at the dead bodies for some time with deep expressions before sighing again.
Although the three goblins didn't develop any deep relationship, in such a short time they were still able to become close enough to poke fun at each other. This type of relationship...they never had in the past, while they were working in their previous den.
They had to work their asses off to even get anything to eat.
Companions? What are they? Nothing! They had to kill each other to survive in that Den.
Their current situation was way better than before so they had enough time to get to know each other.
After a while, Bob shook himself before turning his body, and started following Ben. Job also made up her mind before following behind Bob. They didn't forget to bring Pop's body with them. In order to not leave behind any dragging traces, they held the body high up, and stopped the blood flow with his clothes. With this, they could stop the blood drip for sometime.
Although they were sad, it's not like they could stop living right? They had to survive, and get stronger to rule this forest under their Boss in the future.
This finally marked the start of their journey towards the south area, where fierce beasts roam around at every corner.
….
With their departure, some wild wolves were attracted here by the bloody scent.
Seeing the dead bodies, the wolves quickly ran up and began feeding on them hungrily.
After some hours, the wolves slowly left one by one and the place became empty again with some clothes, equipments, leftover human meat, and bones.
After the wolves made their escape, some noises appeared from the oppposite direction.
A few adventurers consisting of humans, and beats folks came out through some trees and bushes.
"Look! Some human remains!."
One of the adventurers announced to the group, and quickly went to check up on the leftover human remains.
The person who went up to check was a human male with rat like eyes. He was dressed like a commoner with plain clothes, and held a long bow on his back.
"Their blood is still fresh….it seems like they were just assaulted, and killed by a group of beasts not long ago."
Hearing his words, the expressions of other three or so people standing in the back turned dark. They noticed three bronze medals on the ground, and figured that these left over bloody meats and bones were of three Bronze ranked adventurers.
"From the state pf this area, it is clear that the beasts that they fought with were powerful…."
The guy with rat-like eyes turned his head, and curiously stared at his companions as if asking what they should do next.
A buff guy among the group opened his mouth "Pick up all the equipments from the ground, they should fetch us something. We will report this incident back to the group. We have to warn them to be careful in the future."
The others listened to his command, and began picking up the weapons, and equipments from the ground.
They were fast in their actions as some fear lingered in their hearts after seeing the state of these fellow adventurers. They were afraid of meeting the same fate as them!.
Nobody even thought that these three were killed only two goblins, and a weird looking animal without any magical properties. In fact they believed that the deed was done by a group of frost wolves as this part of the forest was the area of wolves!. And they just happen to see the dead body of a frost wolf beside the other bodies!.
"Take out the magical core of that frost wolf as well. We can't leave that behind. These three must have been excited after seeing the mission, and arrogantly tried killing a large number of frost wolves but instead got surrounded, and killed by them, or maybe some other beasts killed them…."
The leader of the group was the buff man who ordered everyone to collect the equipments.
Even though there weren't any ice particles in the surroundings, the leader could only think of that explantion.
"Anyway it doesn't matter who killed them...we just have to report back and see what others do."
After picking up all the valuable things like weapons, Armors from the ground, the group of four left the area in a hurry.

Who Fixes Books Anyway?
On the pretense of a raise, the relatively new employee Pernie is called in to talk with her superiors. NOTE: This is a short story written for a class I took recently. As a result of deadlines, it does not possess the quality (or length) that I would like and is rather thrunkated. Perhaps sometime far in the furture I'll fix it up. For now, I have much more important things to work on, such as my other fiction.
