《End Game[EG]》Ch 5:Her decision

*Bell!*
When the bell rang, students and teachers left their classrooms. However, one girl remained in her seat, apparently lost in thought.
"What do I do?…" Sakura muttered in an almost inaudible tone. She was alone, with no one to talk to. The subject of Yato was hammering her mind, she only had 1 day left. The only person she could count on was her older sister; however, her sister would probably not believe her. Sakura wanted to have a friend right now. Sakura remembered her past a little. She was a very social girl, but after a certain day...
After "that day", her world turned gray. She started to move away from people, and in the end, she ended up being alone.
*Sigh!*
She got up from her chair and decided to go home.
-
"Onee-Chan, I'm home." Sakura announced her arrival after opening the door.
"Onee-Chan?..." She was confused when she didn't hear her sister's response. Walking towards the living room, she saw a letter on the table. When she opened the letter, she knew it was a letter left by her sister.
'I'll work late today. Your dinner is in the fridge. take care'
Sakura clenched her fists. Her sister spent a lot of time working to provide a comfortable life for her. Initially, she thought about working part-time to help her, but her request was rejected. Sakura couldn't say that she was in bad financial condition, in fact, her family's financial condition was extraordinarily good. The only problem was…
*Ring!* *Ring!*
Sakura heard her phone ring. Looking at the number, she saw it was her sister.
"Moshi Moshi" Sakura answered the call.
"Sakura, how are you doing? I'm going to be late today, I'm taking care of some business at the company." Her sister replied.

"It's okay, Onee-Chan. I'll await your arrival."
…
"Onee-Chan?..."
"Huh? What's up, Sakura?"
"Is there nothing I can do to help you?" Sakura didn't just want to be a leech. She also wanted to help her sister.
"Haven't we talked about it already? You're only 15, your priority is education. Our financial condition is great, you don't have to worry about that."
"But-"
"Sakura, listen to me! I know you just want to help, but that's not necessary. I made this decision because I love you!"
"..."
"I... see you've been a little weird these past few days... I don't know what's going through your mind, but I know you'll make the right choice. Sakura, I'm sure you'll reach heights I've never reached. Just grow up and prove to Father and Mother that they made the wrong choice."
"Onee-Chan…" Drops of tears fell from Sakura's eyes. Her older sister has always been supportive of her, regardless of the situation. She couldn't describe in words how much gratitude she had.
"I promise not to let you down Onee-Chan!" Sakura said, with determination.
"I believe you."
-
Sakura chatted with her sister for a few more minutes before hanging up. She had made a decision. She didn't know if her choice would be a good one or not; however, she would do anything to fulfill her promise to her sister. She climbed the stairs and headed towards her bedroom. Upon entering her room, she sat on her bed.
"Well… what am I supposed to call him?! That idiot didn't even explain to me how I was supposed to contact him-"
"Who are you calling an idiot?"
"Kyaaaa!!"
Sakura jumped out of bed when she heard Yato's voice.
"I-Idiot! Don't show up so suddenly!" She said, with an expression of indignation.

"Heh… weren't you the one who called me?" Yato said, with a smile.
"W-Well… I made my decision. I accept the system; however, I have a question." Sakura said, with a serious expression.
"Say it."
"The system won't interfere with anyone in my family, will it?" Sakura couldn't allow anyone to harm her family. She would do anything to protect the people she loves.
"The system will not interfere with your family. The system is for you, the consequences will be directed at you. However, I am not responsible for your actions and decisions." Yato wouldn't interfere with Sakura's family, but he wouldn't be responsible for Sakura's actions either.
"Alright, I accept!"
"Well, you made a good choice." The white orb entered Sakura's body.

General Description: A strange girl with Chūnibyō. A little better than that guy, I would say.
-
"Yato!!..." Sakura got a little annoyed as she read the system overview. She was also confused by the second sentence of the text. Who was "that guy" the system referred to?
"I didn't say any of that, why are you blaming me?"
"On your second question, He is the other person that was selected by the system."
"Is there anyone else besides me?" She thought she was the only one chosen, but it looks like she was wrong.
"Yes, there is. The chosen ones were you and him. However, he lives on a distant planet, a few million light-years from here."
"Eh?! Is he an alien?! I don't want to team up with an alien!" Sakura saw in the movies that aliens were very strange, so she was a little unsure.
"He's not an alien, or rather, he's not the kind of alien you're thinking of. He's a human being, just like you."
"That's nice." Sakura felt more relieved.
If the chosen ones were of different species, communication between them would be a little more complicated; however, Sakura and Keiichi were human. There are different species and civilizations, some with similar characteristics, for example, Elves and Humans. Elves and Humans, despite their differences, can communicate easily; however, some species are almost impossible to have any pleasant communication, because the customs can be absurdly different.
"Well, explain to me how to use the system." She didn't want to end up messing with something she shouldn't.
"That you need to learn for yourself. Goodbye." Yato disappeared. He would let Sakura and Keiichi learn a little on their own, then he would help them more often.
"Wait- Yato!!!"
Sakura tried to call Yato again, but he didn't appear.
"You're an idiot!!!" She screamed.
*Sigh!*
