He then pointed to the school they were going to.

After a long while as they explored through the city, tasting all the food they could and abusing Rai's wallets down to the seemingly bottomless abyss of a wallet, they finally reached the school's gate.

"Now then kid, this will be one of my final tests for you and your friends."

Rai then gives him the card he used to enter the city gate scot-free.

"Try to get all 4 of you to be trialed upon."

Suddenly, Kuro's face which showed a happy and jolly expression now showed a serious face.

Rai then left. Unusually, Kuro didn't ask.

"Are you gonna let him leave like that? No... Questions?" Kenny asked Kuro, but...

"No need. Let's go." Kuro's voice now held weight, much more than Levy's words.

As they went inside, many students were there. It appears that it was the time wherein school had already started. Murmurs started to be heard from the students.

"Who are they?"

"That guy in the back looks handsome..."

"I don't know, but they look cute."

As murmurs shifted from curiosity, they then started to pick their poison one by one. Kuro then looked at one of the male students and went close to them. His face shifted from serious to kind in an instant.

"Hey, do you know where we can put our applications in to become students?"

The 4 behind him, even Levy, became surprised to hear Kuro's polite tone.

"Wait-wait-wait, are you even Kuro?" (Kenny)

"Hold on, tell me... Are you an imposter? If I see you acting too suspicious, I'll have to kill you myself" (Gran)

"Kuro, are you okay? Are you sick?" (Bea)

"Kuro, did Rai hit you on the head again?" (Levy)

As Kuro heard the 4, veins popped out of his forehead.

"Oy... The 4 of you... LEARN THE ATMOSPHERE!"

Immediately, barriers hit their heads, making them dizzy.

"Foo... Sorry about that but again, do you know where the school director or anyone I can talk to about our applications is?"

"Uhh... Take a left then go straight ahead. You'll see a platform that takes you up there."

"I see... Thank you! Now, if you'll excuse us... I'll have to carry these 4."

Kuro then gestured his hands and suddenly, the 4 knocked out stooges levitated along with their stuff. Everyone became surprised as they saw it. They saw the arrival of a monster.

As Kuro took the directions given to him, they then finally found what looks to be an accountant along with 2 other people beside her.

"Hello -Err... What happened to them?"

"Ah, I'm sorry for my informal entrance, but I can't really leave them knocked out. They're just in the middle of learning some lesson from me after showing something informal to the rest of the students. May I know, it this perhaps where we inquire ourselves to become students of this academy? We were referred here by our teacher, but since he was busy, he gave me the responsibility to list ourselves."

Suddenly, the accountant along with the 2 others jolted a bit.

"Ahaha... You shouldn't joke about that."

Then Kuro showed her the card Rai gave him, giving the accountant another shock.

"Ah... I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please, just wait here!"

She then dashed on to another platform and disappeared.

"Hmm... Weird."

Kuro then turned to the other 2, which also shocked them a bit.

"May I ask what Rai's status is, and why he's so important?"

"Ah- W-well... Rai's the best teacher in the history of teachers. All of the strongest beings in the world, humans or not, were thought by him."

"I see... That's the old guy's identity down."

They were surprised that Kuro just called the most prestigious man, an old guy. His status was akin to a world leader in modern standards. As Kuro kept asking for things about him, he found out many things. One, Rai is the current human king's magic researcher. Two, Rai had taught many princes and princesses who had the title of 'King's. And three, even the best adventurers say that they "Can't defeat Rai". Meaning, they can injure him, giving Kuro hope of slapping Rai's ass after all that pent up anger from his training sessions.

The 4 finally finished reflecting.

"Hey, is it me or is the atmosphere a bit heavy?"

"Nn, it's the same with me."

"Yeah, me too."

"This feels like the weight of the world..."

"You guys might just be feeling the recoil of getting hit by me. Just rest a bit."

Though they were a bit suspecting Kuro did something, they had not much time to react as the accountant had finally came back with a girl whose atmosphere felt intimidating.

"So, you're the ones he trained... Names?"

"Kuro Aagney, Bea Purus, Levy Eros, Gran Mercse, Kenny Rockbourne."

And then, as Kuro finished saying their names, he was met with a warning.

Merlin became surprised. She tried to take a peek at him but was cancelled, and she never mentioned her name.

"That's quite rude, but I'll let that remark slide. I'm just a simple Half-ling. A half-Dragonkin half-human, whose parents were the best the world could ever have."

The excited Bea then sat down as Kuro raised his hand with a solemn tone.

"As Bea was saying, our family was one of the last remaining Guardians of the Guardian tribe."

"It's a tribe full of Dragonkin excluding my mother who was a human whose circumstances I don't know of."

Merlin placed her hand on her mouth to try and think about them, whether they are telling the truth or not, whether it'll be worth it or not, etc. But because of this, Kuro smiled.

"Here, let me remove my magic negation." 'Guide, don't block her this time.'

"W-what? You mean, after all this time, you were under the influence of your magic negation?!"

All of them were surprised. It was natural, no mage could ever cast magic under the influence of a magic negation field.

"Well... Bea's more powerful than me in terms of power and she's much more hardworking than all of us combined. She can cast all elements and even heal as well as strengthen all of us for long periods of time and even strengthen one even further.

"Gran casts wind element with the help of the weapons me and Rai made for him. With those, he can pierce through even an Earth dragon's skin, which was tested by Rai and Gran themselves."

"Oh please, you haven't even se-"

"Kenny is our Tank. He can solidify himself with the Earth. Even for me, I can't even break through his defense."

"And finally Levy, she's the fastest in our team. In terms of physical prowess, she's also the best one out of us 5."

All 3 of them excluding Levy stared daggers at Kuro.

Even for Merlin, she had to prepare herself just in case Kuro suddenly goes out of control. His friends as well as the clerks around them were engulfed by his pressure. Suddenly, Kuro stopped his emanation and continued to speak.

"As you know, we're not here to convey our hatred and revenge stories and blah-blah-blah. We want to enter this school in hopes of gaining both knowledge and experience. Rai may have been the one teaching us, but we need to learn about many more patterns, as well as to get used to battles. I won't go in-depth, but this is as much as I can sum up."

Kuro then sat straight.

"So, how about we call Rai and end this discussion. Agreed?"

"... Alright. Even I'm curious as to what techniques you have, so I'll spectate as well just in case."
