She lowered her head and added

“I just want to cherish him because he was a gift from you”

The fire wolf wasn’t even a stage 1 monster on earth,but just like his other relics he had changed and grown stronger to adapt with his new environment.

It was as if this world was richer in energies and the artifacts he had could absorb it.

“He is currently weak and can only fight beasts like stage one wolves,however he can grow stronger by eating beast cores”

Chief Dali was opposed to it and told Gaya that all beast cores were to be given to Dante,but he calmed him down.

Dante also started talking to the spearman warrior and the bowman,after all they were the strongest in the village after Dali and the 2 knucklehead brothers.

The one who asked was the bowman,his name was Rivan.

The moment Rivan asked that question,the spearman next to him,Granny Kali and the chief gave him a threatening look.

Rivan’s expression got awkward and he tried to justify his rudeness.

“Brother Shen,i just wanted to know what his plans were,I dont think those 2 knuckleheads will stop aiming for the chief’s position .

Dante had already anticipated what they would do,but decided to turn this situation in his favour.

“Rivan was it,do you think you could hit him from here”

He pointed at Zecharis who was standing on a tree very far from the banquet table.

“Huuh?Wait is that a man,hmm i wonder”

He took out his bow and released a very roughly made arrow,but even though the arrow wasn’t even straight enough to be usable Rivan managed to hit him.

When the arrow was just about to pierce through the snow elf’s forehead,he used his dagger and deflected it.

“That guy has nice reflexes,is he one of ours?why haven’t i met him before”

Dante told him that he was his servant and gave a signal to Zecharis.

5 minutes later he showed up and bowed.

“Did you wish to see me,master”

“Yes,you saw the way he hit you,could you have done the same?”

He answered without even stopping to think

“No,even though every elf has high skill with a bow,i would have not been able to do what he did....

When you granted me chaos energy,the snake spirit inside me couldn’t absorb it and evolve,even a random guy like him has better bow skills than me..I have failed you master,please punish me”

Dante ignored his words and took the bow artifact from him.

“Try using this”

Rivan took it but did not start using it.

“You cant gain my loyalty this easily ,i dont even know what you’re planning.

If you wish for my loyalty I need more time to evaluate what kind of man you are”

This guy really overestimated himself,did he think that Dante would go that far for a minor character such as himself?

Such were the thoughts of everyone who knew Dante’s real ability.

“This weak bowmen who cant even fight on the frontlines dares be rude to master saint”

The crowd wanted to get on Dante’s good books so they took this chance to belittle Rivan,but the man really looked like he didn’t care .

On the other hand,Zecharis already cherished that bow artifact and let go of his pride in order to gain his master a new servant,but this arrogant bastard refused his master’s good intentions.

“I find your existence unpleasing to the eye”

Zecharis took his giant snake form and tried attacking him,Rivan who obviously had not anticipated such an outcome panicked.

Everyone’s expression seemed to be telling him the same thing

“Thats what you get for messing with master saint”

Such was the nature of people in this world,especially tribesmen.

If you were strong even if you killed someone’s dad right in front of a child he wont grow to hate you but would treat it as the norm,strong guys get whatever they want because their fist is mightier.

It didn’t come as a surprise for them to side with Dante.

“I see,now it makes sense”

After activating his Chaos Pupils Dante easily found out why Zecharis couldn’t absorb his chaos energy and evolve his spirit,it was because his black snake spirit’s affinity was darkness.

The Chaos energy that he used was chaos fire,thats not an element darkness related.

“Zecharis,the reason you couldn’t advance your spirit and absorb my energy is because you were unworthy,but fear not I shall give you another chance”

He waved his hand and Zecharis took his normal form again.

“I will now grant you chaos poison energy.

The poison energy itself will kill your but the chances of death may lower if I give you chaos lightning energy too.

There is high risk of death,are you willing to bet you’re life on the path to get stronger?”

The snow elf assassin didn’t even think twice,he himself knew that he had become a liability and wanted to grow stronger in order to serve his master.

He kneeled in front of him and said

“I am ready”

A sphere of black poison and strikes of violent black lightning manifested on Dante’s palms,he then forced them inside the assassin’s spirit energy channels.

When chaos energy invaded his body,the snake spirit inside him backed away in fear,but Zecharis did not plan on escaping his fate.

“If our fate is to die then we weren’t meant for greatness,but if there is a chance to reach the peak then lets risk it together”

As if he heard his words,the black snake spirit stopped trying to escape the rapidly invading energy and opened his mouth in attempt to suck it all in.

Black and purple runes appeared on the snow elf’s body and then he started releasing the rage aura of someone experiencing extreme pain.

“Wha...what are you doing to him”

Dante did the shush gesture which was enough to send a clear message to Rivan.

That message was “i am not playing with you any longer,if you bother me one more time you will cease to exist”

30 minutes later,Zecharis started showing signs of relief and his breathing calmed down.

When he opened his eyes,the left one was glowing black while the other one was glowing purple.

“What you saw just now was him risking his life in order to gain a little bit of my power,and of course he succeeded”

Dante lifted the kneeling snow elf by the arms and told him that he was worthy to be his servant.

And amongst the crowd’s surprised face and his own expressionless face,Green Neo of the Neo sister assassins showed up and told him something that ruined his mood.

“Master,evacuate right now.

A gorilla King with 20 gorilla underlings have come to attack the tribe”
