knowing that the camouflage ability works, he wasted no time on his way back as he was in a hurry to begin the plan. He was more confident that he could accomplish what he sought out to do.
Out of all his abilities, only the camouflage ability was the most usable in his current situation, even if the others still worked. After all, even if he had the other abilities, could they compare to being untraceable? Nope, unless it reaches the point where the other abilities get strengthen further, only then could he be said to be almighty.
Still, with the camouflage ability, he could only be said to have the necessity to be safe, that is if no one can see through it.
He soon reached home as it just became sunset.
He saw his mother making supper with some twigs and leaves to burn fire. On the fire, between the two rocks was the twigs and leaves, and on top of the rocks was a small bronze pot.
He walked up to her, feeling pain in his heart watching her doing such laborious work and ask, " Mother, after eating supper should we make a hut for ourselves?"
She looked up and looked at him. She looked at him for about 45 seconds and answer softy, " No, remember we will only be staying here temporally. We will leave as soon as you do what you must!" her tone was resolute, there was no trace of hesitation in it, she will not stay if it means bringing unnecessary trouble.
Hao was sweating bullets after his mother looked at him for so long, he felt as if she had seen through him, which he finds absurd. He did not leave any loopholes, he was sure.
Hearing her answer, Hao agreed as that's what he would do if he had not decided to kill the Divine Totem Beast.

He still feels it was necessary to build something for his mother to rest in, he would not allow her to stay outside at night if he could help it.
After making this decision, he looked around the area and noticed some red bamboo like trees. As someone from the bamboo country, he was biased towards the bamboos. So, since there are bamboos, his hut must be made from it.
If he builds a house without bamboo, his ancestors would probably kill him, if they knew.
He had to check the bamboo, to make sure that there were no termites inside of it, as it would be awkward if the hut drops down on his mother when she is sleeping, right?
Finding no taramites, Hao looked for some rope like twigs to be used to tie up the bamboos together. it wasn't hard to find as these kinds of twigs could be considered a bush and bushes are everywhere. Its just like grass, which is also consider as the god weed.
Watching what her son was doing, disbelief appear on her face as if she had realized something, " Apso, are you really my son?" she whisper softly as sadness was visibly on her face.
Not knowing that his mother was getting more suspicious of him, Hao spend the two days experimenting and learning how to build the huts as this was the first time he had every done something like this, as in his period (Real world), they buy houses, not make it.
After working nonstop, he was finish, looking at the finish work, both mother and son was astonished at the thing infront of them. Maybe because he was thinking about the houses of his time, he might have gone overboard. The hut could no longer be call a hut but a house! well a small one that is.
As the house was made of red bamboo like trees, it had an elegant and noble feel to it. It stood three meters tall and was about 10-15 meters long. For the roof, he had used a tree that was like coconut leaves and breaded them together to make the roof, giving it a natural countrylike feel.

As for doors and windows? just building the house was already difficult, he couldn't make the windows as he didn't have the necessary tools. But for the door, if you could call it that, he only did not put any bamboo trees in two specific area, so it was open, not really a door.
To Hao, the house was a disgrace to his eyes of houses, but in the eyes of Sonia, the house was like a home to a divine being, just magnificent. It was like when a billionaire saw a gold coin, they are indifferent but if a commoner saw the coin, they would be thrill at the idea of owning it.
Ever since her son started building the hut for her, she was watching him with a heart full of suspicion. After seeing him create such a magnificent building from the trees, she was 100% sure that this 'Apso' was not her son at all, he was an imposter.
Honestly speaking, she already knows that he wasn't her son from the first time he walked out of that coffin, she just didn't want to believe he wasn't. She wanted to question him, as she saw that he was very obedient to her, but she decides to wait for him to tell her himself.
“Mother, do you like the ‘hut’? Don’t worry, I have check the stability, it should be good for at least six months.” Not knowing how much damaged he had cause, he proudly spoke to his mother.
“Yes, it’s beautiful, the best that I have seen in my life. Just, where did you learn to build this from?” hearing him call her mother, Sonia felt a bit of rage in her heart but suppress it.
“I just learn it as I studied the materials.” He answered her honestly as he was proud of his achievement, but after saying what he did, he immediately came to as he look at his mother in surprise, “Mother, you tricked me.” Who would have taught such an ancient woman would be smart enough to ask this question when he was unguarded against it? He reelevate his mother in his mind.
“Don’t call me mother!! Tell me who are you!!” seeing that he found out, she knows that there is no need to conceal her raged any longer.
“Before that, tell me how you realized that I wasn’t your son.” He pretty sure he didn’t leave any clues behind, other when he built this ‘hut’.
She was surprised that he would be so calm, so she hesitantly answers, “I realized the exact moment where you started to express your concern for me, Apso would never do something like that. But its when you build this ‘magnificent hut’ that I realized that you must be an imposter.” She was so embarrassing and ashamed when she said the first sentence.
“Oh, is that so, that’s to say even having the memories of the body would not be 100% safe of exposer? I guess it’s probably because I have not absorbed his soul but keep it safe next to mine as well? Well this not exactly a bad thing, I was getting tired of all this acting.” He felt relived as if a burden has been released from his shoulders.
“Mother, before you denied being my mother listen, I will explain all of it to you.” She saw her about to explode again so he hurried to finished speaking.

Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.
