After checking, and seeing none of his abilities work, Hao decided to go back ' home' to his ' mother' as he really was starting to miss her badly. Maybe that's what a family is, missing them when they are not there, and reluctant to leave when they are.

Feeling all poetic, he started to hum a tune as he continued forth.

As he got far from the 'Valley of Stillness', Hao noticed that he could heared the sounds of insect and birds again. He even noticed some weird species birds that had two heads, and even a squirrel that has its tail on fire jumping around.

Hao had always been someone that explore the unknown, so seeing something that he wasn't familiar with, how couldn't he be curious about it?

After coming to the Past World, this is what he decided to call this world, he had not done any exploring or made any discoveries. All he had done, was deciding to kill the divine totem beast, which any person could promise to do.

He was sure that if it was someone else from his time, they would have done some amazing things, such as introduce medicine, technologies and even conquering the tribes in the area.

Medicine and technologies where never his strong point; so, there is no way that he could improve the Past World with it. As for conquering the tribes? Only dumbasses would do that. There is no point in conquering the tribes as it will not belong to him in the end.

So, he thought he could explore as he walked back home, he was sure his mother wouldn't mind it, right? following through with his decision, he took the longer route home as he looked at all the animals and plants around him.

The reason he made this decision, other than his curiosity, was that even though he can't bring the tribe with him when he return, he could bring the knowledge he learned about the animals and plants, even the knowledge about the totems.

Just the knowledge alone would allow him, in the real world to live longer. As they say, knowledge is power.

After walking awhile, he was surprised when he saw a bearlike being that was 3 meters tall and had two heads. The left head of the bear is blue in color, it is the same color as the ocean. It made it seem like this head of the bear could breathe under water. The right head is green in color that it looks poisonous.

Altogether, a 3-meter-tall black bear with two heads of blue and green stand before him roaring at the skies in rage. It looked like a war harden machine that had seen lots of blood and death in its life.

This not what surprised him, what surprised him was that the bear was in front of him but didn't seem like it could see him, as he was sure that if it did, he would be deader than he was already.

Interested by this discovery, he wondered if the bear was just naturally born blind, but he soon denied this, because if it couldn't see, nature would compensate it with echolocation like the bats or something of equal value.

It’s just like humans, humans are naturally born with weak bodies but with smart minds that make up for it. Of course, there are people born with both, a strong bodies and mind, but they are rare.

He walked up to the bear and stood 5 meters away from it, to see if it could sense him. He was disappointed as the bear had no reaction other than stopping its roars.

Hao became bold and advance one more meter, as soon as his feet touch the ground, all the bear's hair stand up on edge as it's two heads looked around in the surroundings warily.

The bear had sense there was a presence nearby but could not locate the it. Although it couldn't see it, from the numerous years as a hunter, it could sense a faint danger at the front. The bear didn't hesitant any longer and use it massive black paw swipe at the empty air in front.

The massive paw seemed to have enlarge in Hao's eyes as it descended like lightning, Hao didn't hesitant to jump backwards as soon as the bear lunched its attack. Hao's back hit the ground and roll backwards like a ball.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Just as Hao jumped back and was swearing buckets, booming sounds reach his hears, so he looked up and was shocked silly!

In the place that he was at, there is a two-meter-wide hole, the depths unknown. The hole looked like someone had donate a grenade there, no, even a grenade might not have the power to do something like that!

The one responsible for the destruction, looked around in the surroundings with confusion as it was sure that it senses something in that location, but even when it launches its small attack to test the waters, it didn't hit anything but the soft ground.

It was smart, even though it is a bear, it knows stuff like these happened when there is a strong beast or beings of unimaginable powers in the area. Not wanting to lose its small life, the bear decided to retreat in haste.

Watching the bear leave with fear on its face, Hao was laughing in his heart as he found it funny, it must think that something powerful was the cause of what happened.

" So much for an adventure!" remembering how close he was to being squish into meat paste, fear grips his heart. Although he is unkillable, even he doesn't want to experience death a second time.

" I’m going home, still to think the camouflage ability works, it works a little too well." He got up, ready to go home.

As he walked, he couldn't help but muse as he was pretty sure that the camouflage ability works, because there is no way in hell that a powerful being like that couldn't noticed him, even when he was so close by.

He noticed that the ability has become even more powerful, as even a person in 20 meters of him wouldn’t noticed him like in the real world.
