A country what our main character lives in is a small dot compared to others countries but it is most top (going to be )richest country and highest human index(numbers of humans/ meters) in the world.

Its name called SOUTH LIGHT SHOVEL(SLS).it has no natural resources or etc.

SLS due to its land position which sea is around itself, it quickly gets fame and money from naval trading as it is the center of the world.

Naturally, its nearby country called MEGEALAND(ML) are unhappy and jealous of its wealth in this novel ML are in chaos due to corrupted high ranked officials, their country doesn't do that well but they have a lot of resources like foods, oils, metals for an example

SLS has a lot of buildings making zombies a regular sight even after you clear a building

Blocks of building after building, you rarely see the moon that is the reason at early chapters, people are crazy about it

the apartment where most SLS people live in is small, the First hour after the update, most ppl getting killed due to they lack space to run away with.

After that, they respawn into a large building or room or etc and again due to too many people respawn at the same place, people are forced to fight their way out of the zombies

In the later of the novel, ML is a powerful country if they manage to get all the resources to build up.

Due to the fact, that monsters are more spread out, and monsters are weaker and easier to kill due to the natural environment, where the forest is almost everywhere.

ML have a lot of believers that can gains buffs and etc from gods making them strong.

It just shows that overlord are living in a small world haha as the world go through great change after the update

After the update, every hour every single minute there is excitement as everyone on earth, some are trying to live to their fullest to survive, some get infected, some go crazy while other actually a minority of the people actually live their life as normal beings (normal beings means their stats and skills or their ability is the same before update)

In certain SLS place

The booming sound can be heard as jets roared through the air while the battleships fire their cannons to defend their so-called coastline which just an invisible line that is bound by commoner sight or imaging a line that separates from this boundary to that boundary.

What about the soldiers and polices even civilians who are fighting nearby camps or streets for surviving.

What the air force, navy, army are fighting against is the whole threat that is way worse than any world war, any terrorists attack that is endless spawns of monsters and zombies as they defeated one of the monsters, another one just pawn right up to attack them making it extremely hard to clear the area even for resting.

As the monsters they face is air force have to face mutated birds and insects flying in the air as those monsters are sucked into the engine which can cause engine damage, maybe one or two birds will not blow up the aircraft engines, how about ten, twenty or even more of those creatures mindless suicide themselves to take down the engines, soon booming and flight operations are halted as too many birds flying around hence greatly slow down the clearing of zombies as the creatures which are in the air, actually reduce success of airplanes enable to drop bomb on certain strategic places or spots. Furthermore bigger birds and insects are moving to and for in the skies making travel by air a riskier choice to choose from.

The problem for Navy is strange creatures from the sea come out to show them who is the boss, Aliens are coming to get them as they march from the bottom of the sea while the sea monsters engage firefighting on the sea with the Navy. The funny thing that is normal humans don't see any aliens around but they are all around us looking at them, maybe aliens already know the update are coming and join in to win the so-called game so aliens can conquer the earth or they are just there in order to do something that humans are already knowing it but humans refuse to see it. if that is the case, it truly saddles alien so aliens want to replace humans with semi-humans.

Meanwhile on the land, zombies seriously zombies from the novels, comic and etc come alive as some of the people get affected for no good reasons as they out of suddenly feel sick and start vomiting around and a lot of crazy things happen for most readers out there know it is 100% turning into a zombie, for readers who don't know where do the zombie come from.

In summary, a person gets infected by the virus or mind control through what known means, it died in a disturbing way like vomiting violently and feeling their skins are really itch, wanted to get close to other people for no reason and right after it died, it so-called revive itself and start attacking any living thing around it then later it become a puppet to serve certain thing.

'Boom, Boom, Bang, Bang" ------ different sounds of guns firing at a certain place

"MAN I am bitten by a man. Aggggggghhhhhhh Medic............ ."

"Hulk .... is too thick even 7.62 rounds barely stunned it for 5 seconds, called for anti-tank cannon support"

Sounds of guns, cannons and some weapons are everywhere on the battlefield, the soldiers try to kill the monsters that spawn out of nowhere, no one is safe from the threat of the monsters.

The army tries to swiftly defeat the zombies even though zombies are weak but the zombies used its numbers and its ability to spawn anywhere often catch army soldiers unaware of thus slowing down the pace of reclaiming their land plus air strikes are blocked by birds and etc, often zombies love to attack any long-range attacks or undefended area like strategic base making everywhere unsafe.

In the government side, people basically in chaos as zombies are everything, every room at least has 2 to 6 zombies await them, cool right? everyone is fighting for their lives this is what they want you to think, they are fighting on the outside while gathering people through radios and television and also other means but things are pretty stable as they already know the update has come and new order they are going to make it.

While for civilian side, some shock, some really go crazy, some well don't look so surprised, some are happy, some are sad and angry that the government can't provide them with more support, some find it a welcoming change in their life as they don't need to worry about paying their banks on the property or stuff on what they previously own or buy.

Everyone going on different paths to their survival as some be a lone wolf, some are alpha wolf means to be a leader of a small pack of people, some just want to get in a group to simply survive, some just want control over everyone options or through voting and etc kinds of people.

Even owning the area have ways of owning them as there are at least 3 or more options to choose from like occupying the area with the period of clearing respawn monsters, buying the area with the system, clearing the area and buying off from the system that is cheaper than the previous option.

Of course, the tech tree that people are moving on is different, some depend on body enhancement, some on weapons/equipment or machines like aiding tool, some depend on stats, some depend on mass producing and sacrificing, some depend on genes. Basically, varies of tech all have its pros and cons. Generally all for survival.

As the world slowly turn itself into its desired form thus it is a trial of tests for all beings to take.
